It is a unique collection of over 500 albums of free and modern jazz recorded and released in Japan during a period of radical transformation and constant reinvention. An era that saw Japan return from the ravages of World War Two to become a global economic power and emerge as both a technological leader and an international cultural force.
Through a unique gallery of albums, J Jazz charts the development of jazz in Japan from the first stirrings of the modern jazz scene in the mid to late 1950s and on through the hard bop and modal jazz of the 1960s. It steers the reader into the radical directions of the 1970s when free jazz, fusion, post-bop, and jazz-funk opened up a growing number of Japanese jazz artists to a new global audience before consolidating in the mid to late 1980s with a musical scene that laid the path for the contemporary jazz generation to follow.
Over 500 full-colour sleeves from many of the leading names in Japanese jazz sit alongside rare and private pressings that tell a story of constant change and musical exploration. Notes: In 1973, Eventide Clockworks introduced the Omnipressor, the first studio product to encourage the use of dynamics for special effects. It joined the Instant Phaserr in studios worldwide, with the Instant Flanger following shortly after. All were used on countless recordings and are now considered truly classic products. Unlike the Phaser and Flanger, the Omnipressor, with its still-unique dynamic reversal, infinite compression, variable gating and separate "side chain," was discontinued a few years later. It had become difficult to obtain some exclusive parts and even more difficult to explain it to an industry that was much less sophisticated than it is today.
Omnipressor was the first dynamics effects processor of any kind, suddenly making possible a new, wide range of dynamics effects unlike anything that had come before it. Originally invented by Eventide's founder, Richard Factor (and later redesigned for production by Jon Paul), the Omnipressor made a host of dynamic effects possible. The new *Au model features the ability to link multiple units and is fitted with input and output audio transformers, which were a costly option on the original. Other improvements include a universal power supply and a back-lit meter, as well as more convenient TRS/XLR connectors replace the original terminal strip.

Notes: This is a self contained analogue high hat module. This is a Transistor based VCA design. It is influenced by the DR110 drum machine. The original circuit used 4 oscillators to make the metallic audio sound. I added the original 4 oscillator, and an extra 6 oscillator circuit. The 6 oscillator version is doing a double XOR ringmod (internally). You select that by switch.
The 4 oscillator design sounds more crunchy, where as the 6 XOR circuit sounds more polished with sheen. You can blend in the amount of white noise in the mix labeled 'sizzle'.
Internally, the audio is passing through a few high pass filters, making the output sound very high in frequencies.
The module by itself is not exciting. But in the mix, with other percussion modules, this is your favorite-go-to module. It sits almost perfect in the mix.
There are two triggers. One is for 'Open' sound. The other is for 'close' sound. Both open and close have there own decay knob to adjust the length of the audio tail.
There is a tone control, labeled LPF. Use this to taper off some of the high frequencies.
Instead of adding an 'accent' control. Both triggers have been made to voltage variable. 5V triggering is the normal expected input. So a 3V trigger will sound softer in volume. 10V trigger signals will sound louder.
This module is as simple as it gets, just patch your Arturia Beat Step Pro and use the drum track.

Notes: Alter X is the pedal version of Alter 1 eurorack module featuring four 1/4" jacks in addition to 1/8" as well as buffered switching that allows for trails.
Though it functions the same as other pedals, this pedal is a little different. Most pedals are made for guitars and then artists may choose to use them in different ways. Folktek made this pedal to work with either standard 1/4" jacks (for both input and output) or 1/8" (3.5mm) jacks for use with anything else. For those who like to use CV (control voltage) for any eurorack format, cv keyboard, or pedals which output cv (e.g. expression or sequencing), all four of the main knobs have cv inputs (mix, x, y, filter) so you can control your knobs without touching if the desire strikes you.
These pedals accept guitar, line or eurorack levels.
The enclosure is very thick, gold plated PCB (it's very, very tough).
Included power is standard for most pedals (2.1mm, -tip)
Folktek wanted a broad array of effects in each X and Y pedal so each is a mashup of effects which complimented one another when used together. Running X into Y or vis versa creates some powerful changes.

Notes: TRILOBITE is a triple oscillator analogue module inspired by the original Moog schematics and made with thru-hole components only.

Independent audio output is provided for each oscillator. A mixed output is also present featuring a level control.
We are recommended to use independent audio outputs to avoid distortion, in this case MiX output works as WHITE NOISE source with attenuator.
V/oct input of the first oscillator is normalled to all 3 oscillators, so OSC2 and OSC3 would track it too, however, connecting other signals to the other V/oct inputs make each input independent.
The minimum frequency of each oscillator is as low as 3Hz which makes it possible to use them as LFO.
Each oscillator tracks up to 9 octaves.
V/Oct range: 0-10 V
NB: Trilobite as is a full analogue module so should be allowed 5-7 minutes to warm up before use.

Notes: MachineRoom PRODIGY DUAL VCO is an analogue dual oscillator based on the legendary Moog Prodigy synth schematics. MachineRoom improved Bob's design by incorporating ICs with better thermal stability, increased the range of secondary oscillator, and also added cross-modulation possibility. Unlike the original version, PRODIGY DUAL VCO allows switching OSC2 to the LFO mode to modulate OSC1 or other parameters (LFO range is from 0.1 Hz to 8.6 kHz). Precise pitch tracking is up to 7 octaves.
PITCH control has a range of +/- of 1.5 octaves with a central point (to have the ability to quickly return to the initial frequency with precision). The rise/fall time of the GLIDE/SLEW is up to 5 seconds
HARD SYNC switch allows syncing the phase and frequency of oscillators.
LINEAR FM input has a built-in attenuator.
OSC2 UNISON control has a range of +/- 7 semi-tones (increase/decrease relative to the Detune central point).
OSC2 V/Oct Tracking switch activates or disables the OSC2's LFO mode. When disabled, OSC2 stops v/oct tracking, and the UNISON knob becomes a control for the LFO frequency.

From squashing drums, sidechaining kicks and sculpting transients, to glueing a mix together, it's a very versatile dynamics manager.
At its core it's a VCA based feed-forward compressor with a low noise signal path. The magic is in the internal sidechain that shapes the gain reduction envelope. This starts with a a switchable high-pass / low-pass filter, before going into a precision envelope follower, controlled by familiar parameters: the attack, release, threshold, ratio and makeup gain.
The ratio can go past limiting and into over-compression, which can completely reshape transients, a great tool for sound design.
Being modular, of course there are CV inputs for Attack, Release and the side-chain Filter cutoff. The Gain CV controls the makeup gain, but also doubles as a Stereo VCA with the Gain knob turned fully CCW.

But why is it so hard to use them either at home or on the stage? Doubling guitars in recording is also a common practice in a variety of musical styles. In many cases, a single guitarist will record the same track twice with each separate recording being spread to the left and right channels. The effect of this is unmistakable to the ear and the slight differences and nuances between the two separate performances complement each other to create a noticeable thickness, density and weight to the musical experience. This is hard to get sounding right live too. Note this is not the same thing as simple doublers (that just delay one signal with a modulation) or ADT type solutions that are on the market today.

Professional design and FX control

The convenient FX paddles allow the user to trigger effects in bursts via FX Hold mode or to apply them indefinitely via FX On mode. A large, electroplated dry/wet knob controls the intensity of the effect, while the two dedicated parameter buttons offer complete control over the effect parameters. The lower performance area is fitted with 45mm Ultra Glide crossfader and line faders, for the smoothest operation in the mix.

The ultra-compact DJ controller was developed in close collaboration with legendary DJ & producer, Laidback Luke and is specifically designed to use seamlessly with Algoriddim's award-winning Djay Pro software.
Mixing with up to four decks
Despite its small size, the Mixtour Pro is capable of supporting four-deck mixing with its powerful and intuitive controls. Thanks to the illuminated transport section with dedicated coloured LEDs, users are always informed of whether decks 1 and 2 or decks 3 and 4 are currently active. The aluminium browse encoder and designated load buttons allow for efficient library navigation and instant loading of tracks.
Professional design and FX control
The Mixtour Pro's two channel strips with their trusted design are fitted with all the important controls for a modern DJ setup. Each channel features an electroplated bi-polar sound filter (LPF/HPF) with a dedicated LED indicator, in addition to gain and three-band EQ. The convenient FX paddles allow the user to trigger effects in bursts via FX Hold mode or to apply them indefinitely via FX On mode. A large, electroplated dry/wet knob controls the intensity of the effect, while the two dedicated parameter buttons offer complete control over the effect parameters. The lower performance area is fitted with 45mm Ultra Glide crossfader and line faders, for the smoothest operation in the mix.
Made for Djay & Neural Mix
The Reloop Mixtour Pro unlocks Algoriddim's Djay Pro software and incorporates their revolutionary Neural Mix™ technology into the workflow with dedicated controls. This allows DJs to isolate and manipulate individual drums, instruments, and vocals from any tracks in real time, expanding creative mixing capabilities to a whole new level. This feature is toggled easily and intuitively with the press of a button and controlled via the EQ controls of the two channel strips.
Crossfader Fusion™
The Mixtour Pro is also the first DJ controller to support Algoriddim Djay Pro's revolutionary Crossfader Fusion feature. DJs are now able to select from a range of creative transition styles that are automatically applied when mixing from one song to another, delivering a perfect mix every single time with the simple slide of the crossfader.
Flexible performance pad section
Eight performance pads with RGB lighting provide users with more creative options with a wide range of modes including Hot Cue, Bounce Loop, Pitch Cue, Instant FX, Auto Loop, Sampler, Skip and Neural Mix™. Furthermore, all eight pads can be assigned to control one channel in single pad mode, or four pads can be assigned to a channel each via split pad mode.
Full control: the transport section
The Mixtour Pro's sophisticated transport section enables a smooth and efficient workflow. It features four rubberized buttons for each channel to control Play / Pause, Cue, and Sync respectively, while the signature "Laidback Loop" button independently offers instant looping (In/Out/Exit) with a single control. This transport section also offers secondary layer functions to control Auto Loop, Key Match, Pitch Bend, and Key Shift. The transport buttons also illuminate in 2 different colours representing decks 1 and 2 or decks 3 and 4, respectively, keeping the DJ clearly informed when performing.
USB-C design for multi-platform & device support
The Reloop Mixtour Pro provides impressive compatibility options when pairing it with a device and platform. A smartphone, tablet or computer can all be conveniently bus-powered thanks to the modern USB-C architecture. The unit also houses a second USB-C PD port, capable of up to 85W to efficiently daisy-chain a power supply, allowing the device and controller to be powered simultaneously.
