Reaction (Cobert remix) (8:10)
Review: Iranian DJ/producer Ramtin Niazi (1000PA, Ben & Jerry, KAHKLI Cru) inaugurates new imprint Needlessness with some sleek and ravey tech funk on his new offering titled 'Reaction'. It comes with two remixes: London's Voigtmann (of Toi Toi fame) injects more groove into proceedings with his minimalist take, while Tbilisi-based Giorgi Koberidze aka Cobert (Casa Voyager/Partisan) equally impresses with his swing-fuelled electro beat re-rub, over on the flip.

Raise - "Enter Gavia" (6:39)
Raise & Sgt Risk - "Leaving Navaro" (8:06)
Review: Ravey flavours! Sport returns with two lovely late night, very UK-influenced, vibes courtesy of Raise. 'Enter Gavia' kicks things off with a whole multitude of samples and references. Watch out for the loon bird call and a gutsy vocal every card-carrying head will recognise. 'Leaving Navaro' hits with a bumping 4x4 UKG tone. Heads down, sweet and shuffling - just how we like it.

Who Are You Today? (6:23)
Slick People (2:58)
If You Can't Stop (5:54)
Repel (3:30)
Review: Sam de la Rosa from the Led Er Est band works here with Karen Sharkey from The Coombe for fours tuning wave tracks on Germany's Mannequin. It's de la Rosa's third release and is driven by a perfectly chilly TR-606, its ice cold sounds making for perfectly futuristic electro. The minimal spoken word beats add layers of allure and a dehumanised vibe that makes it all the more occult. 'Who Are You Today?' is a zoned out opener, while 'Slick People' is more creepy and subversive. The artwork is cool, too, and with mixing done by Marcos Cabral, this really is a wining package.

Believe (Magnolia mix) (5:47)
Face Time (4:43)
Believe (Stallion mix) (6:57)
Geometry Revisited (3:47)
Review: RTS (Real Time Solutions) is a young but promising outlet that hands control over to JONGPADAWAN here. The artist is said to be exploring "how ideas and concepts relate, intertwine and affect each other" on the three tracks he cooks up, but even without that backstory they make a mark. "Believe" is an old school breakbeat with new school production and dreamy ambient pads that leaves you loved up, before "Face Time" sinks into a shimmering groove with busy, bristling drum programming that feels militant yet spaced out. After the bumping, straight ahead Stallion mix of "Believe" comes the suspensory ambient of "Geometry Revisited". This is fresh indeed.
