Hybrid 36-channel USB & FireWire audio interface
Notes: The RME Fireface UCX is a compact 36-channel, 192kHz USB and Firewire hybrid audio interface, incorporating Hammerfall X-Core technology, high-end converters and TotalMix FX effects engine.

Continuing the line of pristine quality X-Series interfaces, the Fireface UCX packs an incredible amount of technology into a half-rack unit. Featuring 18 ins and outs in total, 8 analogue i/o, 2 digitally controlled mic preamps, 2 instrument inputs, SPDIF, ADAT, Wordclock, 2 MIDI i/o all piped through FireWire 400 or USB 2.0 (USB 3 compatible) computer connections.

The Fireface UCX has impressive technical specifications, with 115dBA dynamic range on the analogue inputs and outputs; an excellent signal-to-noise ratio with very low distortion and jitter. Latency is negligable (0.4ms at 48 kHz), surpassing that of many, more expensive interfaces, making the UCX a serious recording tool for studio or stage. The mic preamps use technology from the RME Micstacy, ensuring flat response and supreme dynamic range, and can also provide automatic and intelligent level control to ensure distortion-free recording.

TotalMix allows for flexible DSP mixing and routing of all i/o's plus effects even at the highest sample rates. Every channel can have 3-band parametric EQ, adjustable HPF, dynamics, MS processing and phase reversal. A stereo auxiliary send gives access from any channel to the reverb and delay effects engine, allowing DSP-based mininal-latency monitoring effects. There are limitations to the total number of simultaneous effects depending on sample rate, but when the DSP load is too high, the Fireface UCX will use the FX-DSP automatic overload surveillance to inform you, or deactivate some DSP, ensuring the DSP engine is never overloaded.

As well as using RME's proprietry USB and Firewire drivers, the Fireface UCX can also be used standalone, or in Class Compliant Mode. This allows the unit to be used without a driver on several operating systems including (via the Camera Connection Kit) the iPad or iPad2, making these mobile platforms capable of studio quality audio recording.

Magnetic core moving coil stereo cartridge
Notes: The AT-ART9 inherits the basic magnetic design from the AT50ANV, which was developed as our 50th anniversary model. Also, It reproduces the highest-quality sound using the vibration system from the AT-OC9/III.

A neodymium magnet is employed with a maximum energy product BHmax of 50[kJ/m3] whilst a permendur yoke is used with a high saturation flux density and excellent magnetic materials.

The housing is made of machined aluminium materials and the cover is made of hard plastic materials. This disperses parasitic resonance and results in clear sound quality.

The base that supports the magnetic circuit and vibration system is made of machined aluminium material. This enables it to serve as a solid base to support stable playback capability.

The basic structure is an original MC type, with separate cylindrical coils to the left and right channels. Since power is generated independently in each of the left and right channels, this structure offers truly superior separation. If the signal from the opposite channel escapes, this can cause intermodulation distortion and have a decisive impact on audio quality and how the stereo sound spreads. The structure of this product ensures a clear and smooth sound. Additionally, the two coils have a reverse-V shape which reduces effective moving mass as seen from the stylus tip, limiting unnecessary movement of the coil and further eliminating distortion.

The stylus tip is a special line contact type with a 40 um × 7 um curvature radius (used in the AT50ANV) and a solid boron cantilever with a 0.26 mm diameter. This allows accurate transfer of music signals read by the stylus tip to the magnetic coil.

Two brass mounting screws are provided to attach the cartridge to the shell. They are optimally suited to the high sound quality of the cartridge itself.

The PCOCC coil enables purer transmission because it does not produce grain boundaries in the direction of the transmission.

Flexible step sequencer featuring 32 steps over 8 polyphonic tracks, with 256 pattern storage
Notes: Polyend designed Seq with some non-digital musical devices in mind. They did it for a reason. Their goal was to implement features that make Seq as playable and fun to use as possible. They made it easy to set up and even easier to create rhythms, chords, and melodies. Most of the functions are available directly from the front panel and all its features give you the quickest and most natural way to bring your ideas to light. And, when you've got them together, rest assured they won't get lost thanks to the Autosave function.

Seq is its own computing centre, hardware- and software- optimized to manage given tasks in the most effective way, without latency or glitches. Immediate responsiveness creates a synergy between the musician and the tool. It's an inspiration right from the very first step.

The idea:
Intuitive to use hardware step sequencer. 32 steps, 8 track polyphony, 256 pattern storage - all enclosed within the highest quality aluminium and wooden housing. Multiple connections give you the freedom to play with your hardware and software devices. It's designed for you to be inspired and, most importantly, fully enjoy the process of creation. Seq is all you need for the way you make music today.

The heart of your creativity:
Equipped with a wide array of inputs and outputs, allowing you to communicate freely with other devices of every era and genre. Lets you feed tracks with MIDI notes using your favourite MIDI controller. Every track can be recorded step by step or in real time and then quantized independently.

With two MIDI outputs, you can connect rhythm and sound machines simultaneously. You choose where to send out the signal from every track, and if that's not enough, you can also use the USB port for the same purpose.

Big step forward in design:
The use of oak and aluminium - materials of timeless quality - allowed Polyend to avoid the need for any flashy details, making what remains even more elegant in its simplicity. Seq buttons are made of silicone with specially matched density and firmness. Their shape, size, and arrangement were chosen carefully to provide an instant and explicit response. Most of the parameters and values can be read from the Seq interface at a glance. For the rest of them, Polyend provide a bright and sharp screen. Minimalistic, stripped down from any distractions, it brings all the information you need in any performing conditions you meet.

It melds the supreme power of Serato DJ software with the genre-defining sound and precise engineering of Roland hardware. Decades of combined expertise give today's producers and DJs state-of-the-art tools and innovative features that open up a new world of creative options, both on stage and in the studio.

Legendary TR drum sounds and sequencing:

From the TR-909's unmistakable hi-hats to the wall-shaking boom of the TR-808, Roland TR drum machines have defined the sound of entire genres of dance music. Customize your beats on the fly and in the moment using the DJ-808's built-in TR drum machine with its iconic sounds and 16-step sequencer that stays in perfect sync with Serato DJ.

The integrated TR drum machine contains the Bass Drum, Snare Drum, Hi-Hats and Clap from the TR-808, TR-909, TR-707, and TR-606 drum machines - the rhythmic foundation of a lot of dance music. These sounds use Roland's acclaimed and award-winning Analog Circuit Behaviour, faithfully replicating the original electronic circuitry of these influential rhythm boxes. It means you get all the thump and sizzle of the classic instruments, with dedicated knobs to control tuning, attack, and decay - putting a new twist on these legendary sounds.

In addition to the internal TR drum sounds, the TR-S sequencer can also trigger the new 8-slot Serato Sampler within Serato DJ. You can mix and match individual drum sounds, layer kicks and snares, and build drum parts limited only by your creativity.

Deep Serato DJ control:

Careful design considerations in the Roland DJ-808 take full advantage of everything Serato DJ has to offer. Built-in DVS support (with the purchase of a Serato DVS license), dedicated loop control buttons, controls for Serato Flip, HOT CUE, FX, even Key Sync - it is all there. Key Sync and Loop functions get dedicated sections so you can quickly adjust the key or shift the loop for a particular deck. The design of every pad, slider and button is with performance in mind. This workflow feels familiar and yet new and exciting, all at the same time.

Cut, scratch and cue with the high-performance platters:

The large, high-quality platters feel great and have the lowest latency of any DJ controller available. You get incredibly tight control over your music with super-fast scratches and cuts. The durable and responsive platters have integrated displays that clearly show playback status so you're always in control. You can even control two decks simultaneously from a single platter with dual deck mode.

Expand your DJ setup on stage and in the studio:

If you are a producer, a DJ, or both, the built-in connectivity for synths, turntables, microphones and more allows the DJ-808 to take your craft to a completely new level. Two AIRA link USB ports let you easily connect compatible Roland instruments and effects with a single USB cable. Trigger synchronized keyboard arpeggios or play live bass lines, leads and sound effects. One connection is all you need to inject your DJ sets or productions with exciting musical elements that can easily sync to your Serato DJ tracks.

Pitch Perfect with Voice Transformer and Serato Key:

Not only does the DJ-808 have a high quality mic input with an XLR combo jack, but also has a dedicated vocal processor, the VT Voice Transformer, that can drastically transform your voice. Knobs for EQ, Pitch and Formant make dramatic vocal effects easy and the ducking capability will automatically adjust the volume when speaking or singing into the mic. And the VT's Auto Pitch function will even re-pitch the incoming signal to match the key of your Serato DJ tracks.

Pro hardware for demanding sets:

Roland has a long history of making rock-solid, reliable instruments with performance in mind, and the DJ-808 is no exception. It has smooth, intuitive knobs and faders, adjustable curves, removable crossfader and touch-sensitive RGB buttons for HOT CUE, ROLL, SAMPLER, SLICER, PITCH PLAY and TR drum machine triggering.

Hybrid analogue & sample based drum machine
Notes: The Tanzbar 2 is a further development of the successful Tanzbar with a slightly different concept. Here, in addition to the LCD display, emphasis was placed on a hybrid structure, which allows the sounds to be selected more versatile, and the bass voice has also been upgraded to a fully-fledged synthesizer.

The drum machine features 7 analogue percussion instruments, an analogue bass synthesizer, 3 digital sample voices with analogue multifilters and 10 sample instruments, of which 2 instruments share a sample voice. The samples can be exchanged via a free tool offered on our website and allow everyone to have their own personal drum sound. The sample memory contains around 300 seconds for 208 samples.

Also noteworthy is that each instrument has its own LFO (replaces the "Bend function in the predecessor Tanzbar) and thus does not stand in the way of diverse modulations. The sequencer has chase programming and can store 100 patterns. The patterns can be chained via "CHAIN" and have up to 64 steps (A / B / C / D). Furthermore, 16 different Flames can be programmed, multiple triggers are a breeze. The plumb line can be adjusted individually for each instrument, making it easy to realize polymetric grooves. 32th, 16th or 16th / 8th triplet is adjustable as a metric.

There are 4 different Accente available by instrument. The sound parameters can be recorded by step recording. Two tracks appeal to external Midi instruments, practically, no external sequencer needed! The shuffle can be individually or globally regulated in strength. Step programming also sends Midi Out and of course can control other sound sources.

The drum computer can be synchronized via USB or MIDI via Midi Clock. In addition to a master volume, each instrument has its own volume slider (except for four sample voices where this is controlled via the endless dial) and the mute button mutes the individual instruments. There are 12 single outputs (mini jack) and a stereo output (large stereo jack) available.

Eurorack visual generator module
Notes: STRUCTURE is a visual generator module that is based internally on an OpenGL GLSL node based platform. It uses the concept of node structures to push visuals through the system.

STRUCTURE contains a video input system that you can select between two formats, Composite video or LZX 1V RGB (with sync applied to rear of module). The Composite input does full colour decoding. Input video can be mixed through effects, with other generators, effected with audio, etc. Input video can be NTSC or PAL, 480i. STRUCTURE auto detects and converts video inputs.

STRUCTURE contains two mirrored video outputs, both composite, selectable to NTSC or PAL 480i.

Two audio rate CV inputs can be used with audio nodes to generate audio based visuals, effects moved by audio waveform, XY plotting of audio inputs, or just used at low frequency CV inputs when not using audio nodes.

Three CV rate inputs can be used to modulate a variety of controls on each node.

All CV can be set independently to 1V or 5V expected input. Each CV has a scale control and a positive offset control for fine tuning incoming CV voltages.

A joystick can be used to modulate controls in real time, or used to record motion information that is played back in a loop. In addition, the joystick has a metal hat for nice weighted movement.

STRUCTURE can also generate 3D graphics, animate properties of the 3D objects, and allow you to map and node type to the texture of the 3D objects (like video).

Three gate inputs, usable by local buttons as well.

Three macro knobs on the top right, allow for global changes to the output node which are user configurable.

STRUCTURE has a USB input, which you can attach MIDI interfaces, MIDI keyboards, controllers, etc, or even a standard PC keyboard or numeric keypad. You can assign actions or state changes to trigger from any of these input sources.

SDCARD on front and back. Backside SDCARD stores system, front side stores user presets, images, configurations, objects, custom shaders, etc.

STRUCTURE has a full colour 320×240 preview screen which also provides lots of feedback when using.

Multi media player for digital DJ
Notes: Intentionally designed to feel and function like other CDJ models further up the range, the CDJ-850 will give that all important reassurance when turning up to a gig with other CDJ models in the booth. And just as budding DJs practiced on the CDJ-800 at home in preparation for their club gigs on the CDJ-1000, the CDJ-850 is set to become the new training ground for DJs hoping to break it on the club circuit.

Apart from the ProDJ Link connection, the CDJ-850 inherits so many of the most exciting features from the CDJ-2000 and 900, offering major enhancements over the outgoing CDJ-800MK2.

The full-size 206mm jog wheel will be familiar to all existing professional CDJ users, giving the same performance and feel as the top range products. And no matter which CDJ you play on, the browsing logic is always the same and all the work put into customising rekordbox collections will be available on every player in the range. So wherever you play, it will always feel like home.

The CDJ-850 features the same large rotary select dial as the CDJ-2000 and is the most affordable product in the range to feature the Wave display to see peaks and drops of the music. An intuitive Tag List feature allows you to think ahead 10, 20 or many more tracks by arranging temporary set lists on the fly. You can save this as a playlist and recall it later in rekordbox or use it again at the next gig.

And what's more, it's the only player to feature Tag List editing, so you can add, remove and change the order of tracks in the list. Adapting to all ways of working, the CDJ-850 plays music from CD, USB and PC. Despite the price point, it's capable of playing professional 24-bit WAV and AIFF, along with MP3 and AAC music files. It can be used as a Midi controller and 24-bit soundcard for music software, and with HID capability, software companies will be quick to announce Plug&Play support.

Capacitive touch keyboard with 9 octave ranges for the 29 full-sized keys - purple/red/gold edition
Notes: The 512 is a gold plated capacitive touch keyboard, packed with a unique blend of truly musical features to enhance your creative experience. The 512 is available with or without the optional rack ears that allow it to fit in a standard 19" rack enclosure, taking up only 4u spaces.

Why is capacitive touch better? Quite simply, eliminating mechanical moving parts found in traditional keyboards makes a product that will never wear out, as mechanical keyboards do. No more intermittent key contacts, or failed aftertouch circuits to worry about! In addition, capacitive touch provides a much faster response time for playing notes, and allows multiple forms of expression to be executed by the performer.

There are five main functions of the 512. It can act as a keyboard, arpeggiator, sequencer, MIDI to CV converter, and MIDI to MIDI converter. The 512 can control both MIDI and CV/Gate synthesizers simultaneously. Pitch, Pitch Bend, Mod Wheel, Gate, Velocity, Aftertouch, and Clock are all available in both their MIDI and CV form. CV's follow the 1V/Oct standard with positive polarity Gate signals, allowing the 512 to control the majority of analog synthesizers both past and present. The 512's CV output is adjustable providing a range of .47V/Oct to 1.34V/Oct. This then allows you to control other CV standards such as the 1.2V/Oct synthesizers used in Buchla and EML brands as well.

All analog dual filter bank - 42HP
Notes: The FUMANA is an all analog dual filter bank with various control to access dynamically these bands. Each filter bank is composed of an array of 16 independent 48dB/oct bandpass filters. Having two identical filter arrays, allows you to use one of those for spectral analysis (of a modulator signal) and the other for spectral re-synthesis (of the main signal). Each array is sub-grouped in odd and even bands (numbering these increasingly from 1 to 16 from left to right). It is possible to apply different signal to odd and even bands, both for main and/or modulator arrays. This, together with the 16 envelope followers connected to each band of the modulator filterbank, and the 16 VCA connected to each band of the main filterbank, allows the FUMANA to perform a single 16 bands or a dual 8 bands analog spectral transfer.

While the upper section provide access to each main filter's direct output, the lower section has 4 voltage controllable parameters to manage two independent functions for further spectral editing: tilt and parametric scan.

The tilt, as the name suggest, tilts the spectrum, adding and subtracting amplitude to the 16 bands, emphasizing lower or high bands, and attenuating high or lower bands: this is managed only with the green potentiometer.

The parametric scan, instead, works with three parameters: peak/notch, band selector and width. Like in a parametric equalizer, where is possible to set peak/notch gain, frequency and slope, the FUMANA uses three parameters to set which is the centre band to perform this manipulation, then if that band should be emphasized or attenuated, and how this action is extended to nearby bands.

In addition to the 16 bandpass outputs, there are other 4 outputs provided: the all bands output, the all envelope followers output, the odd bands and the even bands output. These two have the options to be inverted in phase with two switches, in order to obtain even more combination when summed together, maybe/also with the "all bands output", using, for example the 333 module.

Since a spectral transfer tool may be used as a "vocoder-like-effect", the FUMANA provides an input for an external noise which may be used for unvoiced (fricative/sibilants) sounds as words containing or starting with s, f, z, ch and other fricative sounds.

Innovative harmonic processor featuring 3 independent quantizers, 4-voice chord generator & arpeggiator
Notes: Over the years, you have build a big modular system, containing lots of oscillators, filters, voices and sequencers...and now you would like to play all these together without ending in a cacophony?! Sinfonion is the answer!

After a long time of development and refinement, Mathias Kettner is proud to present his creation, which could be finalised in cooperation with ACL.

The Sinfonion comprises of three independent quantizer channels, a four-note chord generator, an arpeggiator and a complex progression sequencer in one. Thanks to a vast array of buttons and knobs placed around a sharp OLED display, it is easy to use and come up with musical ideas.

The Sinfonion is meant to be the control centre of your modular system.

With a total of 8 pitch outputs, 4 gate outputs, 11 CV inputs and 9 gate inputs, it offers a large number of controls. Its plethora of buttons make it an actual instrument you can play. Furthermore, the Sinfonion features an expansion port to add modules and expand functionality in the future.

The three quantizer channels provide direct access to harmonic scale notes via dedicated buttons per channel (Root, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th). The buttons are made for jamming, controlling the sequences on the go. A fast processor allows quantization times below 1ms.

A chord section generates four pitch outputs, allowing to create four-voiced chords. It offers a lot of options directly accessible from the front panel. Thanks to dedicated knobs for pitch and spread, buttons for selecting the notes chord inversion and optional slew, you can get the chord you are looking for in no time.

The arpeggiator section features 8 different patterns, dedicated knobs for pitch and range, and an array of buttons for selecting the scale notes and the pattern (Up, Down, Up/Down, Down/Up, Baroque, Octaves, Brownian, Random).

All these sections are under control of the Chord Progression Sequencer. It is the brain of the Sinfonion and is operated easily thanks to the display. You can change the root, degree and mode by simply turning the according knobs. It enables the creation of 16 songs with 4 parts each, and 32 steps per part. This comprises the sequencing of chord voicings, octave switches and scale note selections.

The Sinfonion puts an unbelievable sequencing power at your fingertips! Harmony in its purest form! It will bring your music to the next level!

Large diaphragm condenser microphone with shockmount and cardioid polar pattern
Notes: The TLM 103 is the ideal large diaphragm microphone for all professional and semi-professional applications requiring the utmost in sound quality on a limited budget.

By utilizing the tried and true transformer-less circuit found in numerous Neumann microphones, the TLM 103 features yet unattained low self-noise and the highest sound pressure level transmission. The capsule, derived from that used in the U 87, has a cardioid pattern, is acoustically well-balanced and provides extraordinary attenuation of signals from the rear.

Applications:
Due to the universal cardioid pattern, straightforward handling, extremely low self-noise level, and finally, the price, the TLM 103 is predestined for all demanding applications from home recording to professional broadcasting and commercial recording studios.

Polar pattern:
The TLM 103 is equipped with a large diaphragm capsule with cardioid pattern. By focusing on this pattern - used in most recording situations - the attenuation of unwanted rear sound has been optimized. Off-axis sounds are rendered naturally while isolation is increased. This also leads to a high feedback suppression when the microphone is used in live situations or where loudspeaker playback is a factor.

Acoustic features:
The TLM 103 is addressed from the front, marked with the red Neumann logo on the microphone body. The K 103 large diaphragm capsule is based on the K 87, well known from the U 67 / U 87 microphones. The capsule has a flat frequency response up to about 5 kHz, and above that, a wide flat 4 dB presence boost. The large wire mesh headgrille protects the capsule from plosive sounds and effectively prevents pop noises. These characteristics are achieved without resorting to corrective resonance effects. Therefore, the microphone maintains an excellent impulse response and reproduces the finest details of music and speech without coloration.

Electrical features:
With just 7 dB-A / 17.5 dB CCIR the self-noise level of the TLM 103 is so reduced that even the smallest signals are reproduced basically noise-free. As it is capable of handling sound pressure levels up to 138 dB without distortion, the TLM 103 provides a dynamic range of 131 dB (A-weighted). The letters TLM stand for "transformer-less microphone". With TLM technology the usual output transformer is replaced by an electronic circuit. As with traditional transformers, it ensures good common mode rejection, and prevents RF interference that may influence the balanced audio signal.

Operational safety:
The entire internal construction is elastically mounted to attenuate any structure borne noise that could interfere with the TLM 103's operation. Furthermore the capsule is set on an elastic mount. The frequency range reaches below 20 Hz and thus even very low bass signals are reproduced without coloration. Due to this low frequency extension, the TLM 103 is more sensitive to structure borne interference and wind noise. For such cases, the elastic suspension EA 1 and the windscreen WS 87 are available as accessories. For close vocal use, the PS 15 or PS 20 a pop screens are recommended.

*Includes an SG 1 metal swivel mount.

Zoom F8n Field Recorder & USB Audio Interface (audio recorder/USB audio interface)
Cat: 711951 Rel: 06 Dec 18 • View all Handheld recorders

24-bit/192kHz, 8-in/4-out field audio recorder
Notes: Zoom's F8n Field Recorder is an 8-channel, 10-track portable digital recorder that incorporates several important changes over its predecessor, the F8. Eight locking mic/line Neutrik Combo inputs provide up to 75 dB of gain for the mic pre, which can now be accessed via TRS or XLR connector. Line level inputs and outputs operate at +4 dBu; a pair of balanced TA3 mini XLRs serve as the main outputs while a stereo 1/8-inch jack facilitates headphone use.

Audio files are recorded as WAVs at sample rates ranging from 44.1 to 192 kHz (16- or 24-bit), with support for 47.952 kHz and 48.048 kHz sample rates. Files are stored to SD/SDHC/SDXC cards and two card slots allow redundant recording for critical applications. The F8n's Advanced Look-Ahead Hybrid Limiters add a 1 millisecond delay to the audio path, avoiding clipping before audio is recorded.

A Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) generates time code at 0.2 ppm accuracy (output on BNC connectors). The F8n has the ability to record simultaneously via USB and to the internal SD card slots, and a 'pre-record' buffer captures up to six seconds of audio before the Record button is pushed. The F8n can be powered using AA batteries, an AC adapter or a 9-18 VDC power supply via HR10A-7R-4S 4-pin connector.

RME ADI2 DAC 2 Channel DA Converter & Audio Interface (DA converter/headphone amplifier)
RME
Cat: 673824 Rel: 05 Mar 18 • View all Audio & MIDI interfaces

High-quality USB DA converter & headphone amplifier
Notes: In 2016 RME released the ADI-2 Pro. With a lot of fresh ideas, innovative features and numerous useful functions it rolled up the AD/DA converter scene and quickly became a reference for both AD- and DA conversion. Equipped with two Extreme Power headphone outputs it also found its way into HiFi and home use, getting countless rave reviews for its sound, flexibility and technical prowess.

To address the home and HiFi users, RME exchanged some of the Pro's studio features with typical home and HiFi ones. With an adapted feature set and much simplified operation RME proudly presents the ADI-2 DAC. Built on the technology, concept and features of the ADI-2 Pro, the DAC concentrates on DA conversion in top high-end quality, along with two exceptional outputs for headphones and IEMs, and - a remote control.

Packed into the compact half 19" format factor, this little gem is filled with the finest high-end electronics, offering a reference class conversion from SPDIF coaxial, SPDIF optical (ADAT compatible) and USB to RCA, XLR, TRS and mini-TRS.

As the most versatile DAC available, the ADI-2 DAC offers balanced/unbalanced analog outputs, an Extreme Power headphone output, a super low noise IEM output, SteadyClock FS, 4-stage hardware output level control, DSP-based signal processing, external power supply operation, Class Compliant USB compatibility and sample rates up to 768 kHz as well as DSD and Direct DSD playback. The SPDIF input signal can even be recorded via USB - as one would expect from RME the DAC is a true 2 channel Full Duplex audio interface.

Improving DA:

With the DAC RME engineers took the opportunity to slightly enhance the DAC's analog output stage to be even more perfect as it already was. More relays, a different double symmetrical attenuator circuit and one additional buffer OP amp succeed in less noise and less THD. As the DAC-chip is the limiting factor here this is hard to measure, but nevertheless an important improvement, especially at lower hardware output levels typical for Cinch/RCA usage. The new hardware reference levels of +13 dBu, +7 dBu, +1 dBu and -5 dBu also add to this.

Super Low Noise for IEM lovers:

The headphone revolution not only brought headphones but also IEMs (in ear monitors) back into the attention of audiophiles and music lovers. Modern IEMs have a reference sound that easily competes with bulky over-ear headphones, making them not only a mobile alternative, but also an interesting solution in home.

Modern IEMs are extremely sensitive and operate on very low voltages. As a side effect they uncover the noise floor of the player, DAC or headphone amp. When RME developed its Extreme Power headphone stage the basic noise floor was taken care to be as low as possible. Which was then confirmed in many reviews (most black background...). Even when used with IEMs.

Lights Out:

A studio converter with all lights off? Defective. But on a DAC it was one of the most often requested features from our ADI-2 Pro HiFi customers. Here we go: display, function keys, volume knob, even the standby button - they all go off after 10 seconds of no user operation when AutoDark is activated in the unit's menu. Touching any button or control will turn on all lights for 10 seconds. Using the remote AutoDark can also be switched off/on, and using any button on the remote turns lights on for 3 seconds. Once again: we're sure you will love it!

SteadyClock FS:

The ADI-2 DAC is the first device in RME's range with SteadyClock FS. There is not much to improve with SteadyClock, it has earned its accolades over years of flawless operation in numerous RME devices, guaranteeing that using the internal clock will produce exactly the same sound as when using an external one. SteadyClock highly rejects jitter and handles all digital interface formats in an exemplary way. That's why SteadyClock's design and behaviour didn't change in the DAC.

Final Chord:

The ADI-2 DAC includes an improved SteadyClock, a fine-tuned to perfection analog circuitry, remote control, Extreme Power headphone output and a very special IEM output. It has all the bells and whistles that made the ADI-2 Pro famous, including its perfectly transparent sound signature and full DSP processing with Bass, Treble, Loudness, 5 Band Parametric EQ, Crossfeed and much more. With its simplified operation and stunning design it is the ideal centrepiece from home listening up to studio reference playback.

Medusa hybrid synthesizer materialized from the genuine passion and a positive relationship between Dreadbox and Polyend synthesized in the proper way.

At first, there was a simple desire to add a sequencer and preset functionalities to the famous Dreadbox analog voices. But as the more you have, the more you want, this liaison grew up to something utterly unique and totally different than initially planned. We literally had to limit ourselves from tucking more and more new ideas for Medusa functionality, just like you're going to have to withhold yourself from tweaking it all the time.

Careful, Medusa might be dangerously absorbing and can drag you in for a long time.
The innovative way of connecting a classic synthesis character with the digital versatility and unique musical controller brings out the best of these two worlds.

Seems like a simple addition, but this fusion brings something that has never been available before.

The Build:

Professional upper torque turntable system - silver
Notes: With the RP-7000 MK2, Reloop has built a turntable that caters to the high demands of professional DJs and modern nightclubs. With its powerful direct drive motor and rugged construction we were able to develop a sturdy and indestructible turntable that can take on harsh everyday life with ease.

Sturdy Casing Construction:

By using a combination of metal, rubber and synthetic materials, the RP-7000 MK2's housing is more reinforced and heavy than ever before. This results in a turntable that is extremely resistant to vibrations that can be caused by heavy bass sounds in DJ booths and its shock-absorbing feet help to further improve isolation. The surface is coated with a scratch-resistant high-quality deep black or classic silver metallic finish.

Balanced S-Shaped Tone Arm with Upgraded Tone Arm Base:

The RP-7000 MK2 features a statically balanced S-shaped tone arm with hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism. The newly developed tone arm base provides improved stability and adjustable height/vertical tracking angle (VTA). The low-resonance tone arm comes with a universal connection for pick-up cartridge systems (SME).

Dual Start/Stop Buttons, Precise Motor Control and Reverse Function:

As well as the above technical innovations, the RP-7000 MK2 is equipped with a few functions that will make any DJ's life much easier. The newly developed aluminium LED target light is freely moveable to help you find the stylus position in dark surroundings. The target light is also removable and easily exchanged. An additional start/stop button has also been integrated to facilitate a vertical setup (battle position) and by using the buttons on the RP-7000 MK2's top panel, you can switch between the three motor speeds (33 1/3, 45 & 78 rpm). Dedicated buttons for forward and reverse mode allow for further creativity in your mix.

High-Resolution Pitch Section with Digital Fader:

Using the high-resolution pitch fader you can adjust the platter speed in the classic turntable pitch range +/-8%. However, the RP-7000 MK2 is also cable of a wider, DJ-friendly +/- 16% pitch range and a massive +/-50% ultra-pitch. This allows for increased creativity when modulating the playing record's tone. If quartz lock is active, the platter speed will remain unaffected by the fader position and will spin at zero pitch (0%).

High-Quality Connections and Integrated Phono Pre-Amp:

Thanks to the recessed rear connection panel, the RP-7000 MK2 can easily be mounted in a flight case and seamlessly positioned next to other DJ gear. The switchable integrated phono pre-amp makes it is possible to use the gold-plated RCA connectors for both phono and line output signals. An optional ground terminal offers additional protection in club environments. All cable connections (RCA/mains) are detachable and easy to exchange, which also helps with transport and storage.

Powerful Motor with Extensive Adjustment Possibilities:

The fine-tuned, quartz-driven motor with digital pitch correction operates at a starting torque of 2.8kg/cm, which can be adjusted up to a maximum of 4.5kg/cm. This makes it an extremely smooth running turntable with wow and flutter of just 0.01% WRMS*. Furthermore, the turntable break speed (platter stop) can be adjusted from 0.2 - 6 seconds and the precision-machined, heavy die-cast aluminium platter is lined with vibration reducing rubber to eliminate unwanted vibrations and resonance.

Hand-stained all hardwood eurorack synth module enclosure with power - 360HP of space
Notes: ***POWER SET FOR EU AND AUSTRALIA 220-230V:
The Pittsburgh Modular Structure 208 and Structure 360 eurorack enclosures use a switching power supply that needs manually set to the correct AC input voltage. The internal switch has already be properly set for 220-230 VAC. This setting works for the EU and Australia or other countries that use 220-230 VAC power.
For use in countries that use 100-120 VAC power, such as North America and Japan, the switch inside the case on the AC/DC regulator needs to be switched to the left. The switch is marked with a Yellow sticker printed with "AC input voltage can be selected by switch. Check input voltage avoiding damage before power on." The switch is located on the side of the enclosure below the arrow.
Please contact Pittsburgh Modular with any questions. service@pittsburghmodular.com***

Structure EP-360 Eurorack Enclosure

Maximum Power for a New Generation -

Beautifully stained hardwood triple row, 360hp powered eurorack travel case with lid. A huge case to house a monster synth. Features include a professional, heavy duty, internal power supply designed to exceed the needs of the most demanding analog and digital eurorack systems.

Everything is New:
With years of research and two case lines under our belt, we decided to start over and produce a line of cases for the next generation of eurorack synthesizers. The eurorack modular ecosystem is expanding faster than ever and manufacturers are constantly pushing eurorack cases and power supplies to the limits. What started as a power supply designed to drive primarily analog synthesizers has transformed into a supply that needs to simultaneously meet the unique demands of sensitive analog circuitry, power hungry digital processors, and ground sensitive user interface modules.

We started with what matters most. Clean power. A lot of it. Up to 3x the amount of clean power available in cases from other brands. Next we turned our focus to the enclosure itself and there was only one goal. Make the case stronger. Our engineers tested countless combinations utilizing different types of wood, joints, adhesives, assembly techniques, and hardware to ensure that Structure cases are as durable as they are beautiful.

With a clean and gorgeous design that promotes creative exploration, the Structure enclosures are our most robust and refined case line yet. With massive amounts of both room and clean power, you can reach completely new heights in your creative performances.

Hybrid synthesiser with monophonic & paraphonic modes of operation
Notes: Medusa hybrid synthesizer materialized from the genuine passion and a positive relationship between Dreadbox and Polyend synthesized in the proper way.

The Build:

- All that analogue and digital functionality connected in one clearly marked layout sealed in a sturdy tabletop aluminium chassis. Handily placed aluminium covered knobs, informative LED buttons for the comfort of use. The Grid pads made of specially designed silicone, so their immaculately matched density and firmness are providing an instant and precise response.

Polyend designed Seq with some non-digital musical devices in mind.

Capacitive touch keyboard with 9 octave ranges for the 29 full-sized keys - purple/white/gold edition

4-channel DJ system featuring versatile motorized jog wheels
Notes: TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 lets you connect with your tracks in entirely new ways: Not only do its motorized jog wheels spin and react to nudging, scratching, pitch-fading, and backspins, they transmit cue points, loop markers, and more direct to your fingertips. And with RGB LED rings and high-res colour displays keeping all the info you need front and centre in the booth, everything you need is right where you need it - so you're free to focus on your mix.

Haptic drive - the jog wheel, reinvented:

Haptic Drive gives you a new kind of feedback on touch-sensitive, motorized jog wheels. Change the torque and start/stop times to suit any DJ style - whether you're a laid-back beatmatcher or backspin aficionado. Get closer to your music in three modes - Turntable Mode, Jog Mode, and Beatgrid Adjust Mode.

Three modes - mix with more:

Spinning jog wheels in Turntable Mode let you nudge and scratch like you would with vinyl. Or use classic Jog Mode for spin-to-nudge response. Because you feel loops and cue points as you scroll past them, you can line up tracks in a second and let your fingers do the mixing. Beatgrid Adjust Mode lets you adjust the track's Beatgrid on the fly, so you're always in sync.

RGB light rings - your sound, surrounded:

RGB light rings around each jog wheel deliver quick, responsive tempo and nudging visualization on each deck. DJs using four decks can stay on-track with jog wheel color-coding, and track-end warnings make sure you're never caught out.

New mixer FX - your one-touch secret weapon:

Easy to use and instant - Mixer FX give you control over club-grade filters, delays, gates, reverbs, and more. They're great for big transitions, or to accentuate and control the nuances and ambience of your set - depending on the dancefloor. Use them either on their own, or in combination with the usual TRAKTOR Deck FX for fun ways to shift your sound.

Colour displays - all hands on deck:

Create quick and evolving mixes with everything you need in one place. Each high-resolution display shows track, key, tempo, looping, Hotcue, and waveform information. Control Stems and samples directly with dedicated controls, and access powerful software tools at your fingertips.

Hard to break - carbon protect faders:

Upside-down carbon strips in our revised fader design mean better protection from liquids, dust, and other substances, because they no longer fall onto the conductive carbon surface. It's a simple trick that makes a big difference to their durability - especially in a world of DJ-booth drinks and packed-out dancefloors.

All you need - expanded connectivity:

The TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 is equipped with an integrated, club-grade 24-bit / 96-kHz audio interface, with external input options on every channel. Connect turntables for crate-diggers, drum machines and synths for hybrid wizards, or anything else you can think of to push the boundaries of your mix. When connected to TRAKTOR PRO 3, the software adds headroom to the signal, before TRAKTOR KONTROL S4 gives it an analogue boost - meaning better sound at club levels.

Traktor Pro 3 - crafted to perform:

Audio engine improvements and a redesigned user interface make TRAKTOR PRO 3 the best-sounding and most powerful version yet. Dig into extensive re-editing and mixing possibilities with loops, Hotcues, Flux Mode, samples, beat-syncing, and the industry's largest FX suite - for easy experimentation and soundscape creation.

36-channel 192 kHz USB2.0 high speed audio interface
Notes: The compact RME Fireface UC has been uncompromisingly optimized for highest performance under Windows and Mac OS. Based on a newly developed RME Hammerfall core, the Fireface UC audio interface provides revolutionary ultra-low latencies even with multiple channels. It uses two different firmware versions with different transfer methods to remove current restrictions of typical USB audio interfaces. The unit's operating mode Win or Mac can be changed directly at the unit at any time. Under Mac OS, the Fireface's MIDI ports are class compliant, the operating system therefore automatically uses the included MIDI driver.

Flagship oscillator featuring ten individual waveform outputs - 26HP
Notes: We are proud to present our newest workpiece: The ACL Multifunction Discrete VCO combines a massive single saw tooth core with a strong sub oscillator - each of them with its individual wave shaper. As usual, we didn't spare any effort to bring you the best quality - from the inside right to the outside.

The module comes with saw, inverted saw, PW rectangle, triangle and sine - all important waveforms of a proper modular unit are featured. We constructed all signal paths in fully discrete design up to the outputs - but it is much more to it than just a clone of a classical VCO:

If you play with the linear detune, it is possible to create awesome "beating effects" between two or more VCOs. The direct relation between the linear detune and VCO response makes it possible to use the same frequency at every pitch - for an atmospheric, rich and alive sound.

If you play the VCO in LFO mode, the module enables to control the speed in the same way as in VCO mode. If you leave V/Oct CV, you can generate very long lasting sweeps.

Another strong feature are the big syncing capabilities: Adjust the sync amount manually or via CV between the range of sync and no sync - and surf through variable degrees from soft to hard sync.

The core should sync to all repeatable waveforms - approximately exceeding 1 V pp - but in case sync wave is important for some applications, it is possible to choose between falling and rising edge sync in order to hold the proper phase relation between the syncing and the synced wave.

The Gate Input gives you the option to reset the VCO core at the beginning of every note. This feature is highly recommended for the creation of bass and percussion patches if every attack should sound equal and systematic at each time the notes are played. The Gate Input can be used as hard-sync input as well, even in the same time with the Sync input.

You are free to modulate both the oscillator and sub oscillator rectangle wave pulse widths through their separate PWM Ins and PW pots.

On top of this, you also have the possibility to choose between different PWM "carrier" waves to change the PWM-behaviour: Rising and Falling Sawtooth will create an unsymmetrical PWM, while Triangle will create a very musical sounding symmetrical PWM.

Powerful 25 key analog synthesiser with sub oscillator
Notes: Say hello to the Sub Phatty, the grittiest Moog Synth ever.

Moog Music's engineers have crafted the Sub Phatty's oscillators to perform with extreme accuracy and require almost no warm-up time. Just power up, dial in your settings, and put your fingers to work on the keys to summon crisp and detailed waveforms, a vibrant and articulate sound that more than honors the rich sonic density synonymous with Moog creations.

The Sub Phatty is the first analog synth to feature Moog's transformative new Multidrive section; at low settings Multidrive adds warmth and girth, but when pushed, it delivers a screaming snarl that is highly reactive to resonance, waveshape, and oscillator level. Experiment with this new circuit and unlock an undiscovered world of vivid analog tonalities.

The mixer section offers innovations of its own, including a sub oscillator that outputs a square wave one octave below Oscillator 1. Use this powerful tool as a third oscillator for added depth, or to craft your own customized incarnation of monstrous Moog bass. Also in the mixer section is a noise generator voiced to deliver low-frequency content, rich with body and punch. If your goal is to sculpt analog percussion and sound effects, look no further.

The Sub Phatty features a wide range of parameters just below the surface, and all features are easily accessible from the instrument's front panel, or via the free standalone/plugin editor. Select filter poles, assign wave mod destinations, or specify pitch bend amounts i it's all there.

The Sub Phatty brings a fearless new voice to the Moog family of synthesizers. With its streamlined interface and dynamic sound design flexibility, this new synth fuses an unparalleled connection between human & machine, opening the door to unprecedented sonic exploration.

The Sub Phatty's filter includes the transformative new Multidrive circuit, a unique combination of OTA distortion and FET drive, which serves as the sparkplug in the instrument's powerful sound. At low settings, Multidrive adds warmth and width; when pushed, it delivers a screaming snarl that is highly reactive to resonance, waveshape, and oscillator level.

Users can access a total of 16 definable presets via the 4/4 preset matrix on the Sub Phatty's front panel. This matrix also doubles as a control panel for the instrument's subcutaneous nerve center, users can select filter poles, set pitch bend amounts, toggle between legato glide modes, and more. These functions can also be accessed via the included Sub Phatty standalone/plugin editor.

The configuration of the Sub Phatty's mixer section allows users to easily determine, at any given moment, which sources overdrive the filter and which simply pass through it. The mixer section further hosts controls for a square wave sub oscillator; those operating the Sub Phatty can utilize this tool as a third oscillator for added depth, or to craft their own customized incarnations of monstrous Moog bass. Also in the mixer section is a noise generator voiced to deliver rich, punchy low-frequency content, designed for analog percussion and sound effects.

Designed for the project studio that needs plenty of I/O, Focusrite's 18-in, 20-out Clarett 8Pre combines eight mic preamps, class-leading digital conversion and extra-low round-trip latency - enabling DAW plugins to be used while monitoring recordings. Clarett's mic pre offers superbly low noise and distortion, plus the "Air" effect that models the sound of Focusrite's renowned ISA transformer-based preamps. Complete with Focusrite's precision 24/192 conversion offering up to 119dB real-world dynamic range, there's never been a better, faster or easier way of getting audio into or out of a DAW.

The mic pres have been designed especially for the Clarett range, with plenty of gain, yet low noise and distortion. In addition, they include a special "Air" feature that switches in an analogue model of the classic transformer-based Focusrite ISA mic pre. Instrument inputs feature extra headroom to handle the loudest pickup.

Latency is the delay to a signal as it passes through your DAW system from interface input to interface output. Clarett Thunderbolt offers the world's shortest. Signals go round so fast that you can record and monitor through your DAW with your favourite plugins such as EQ, reverb or compression, giving artists a fuller sound to perform with.

Clarett features Focusrite's class-leading 24/192 conversion quality: with up to 119dB dynamic range, Clarett offers the cleanest way yet to get music in and out of your DAW

18 audio inputs and 20 outputs within a 1U rack space, including eight analogue inputs, 10 analogue outputs, stereo S/PDIF I/O and eight channels of ADAT I/O. The ADAT ports are ideal for sending audio to an external D/A for line output expansion, or adding eight channels of digital mic pre..

Two mic/line/instrument inputs on the front panel give you instant, easy access to a pair of analogue inputs, even when rack mounted.

The monitor panel provides analogue and digital input levels, and main monitor outputs, via a 6-segment, multichannel hardware meter. Monitor features include a level control, plus dim and mute buttons, alongside dual high-power headphone outputs.

Powerful analog filtering and distortion unit
Notes: What is the Sherman Filterbank 2?

A powerful analog filtering and distortion unit with a huge frequency range and a killing TUBE overdrive behavior.
Easy and FUN to use, live and in the studio
A small modular system? YES!
Another 303 clone? NO!
Affordable? YES!
Application: processing every sound source, effect mixing, expanding modular systems, etc.

What you get:

Independent low pass, band pass and high pass filters with resonance, frequency and ADSR (positive - negative) controls
These are switchable between parallel or serial
The second filter has a 6 octave switch, and is synchronizable with the first filter
1 ADSR generator for these filters with an external output for use with more filterbanks or modular systems, triggered by the incoming signal, by a second sounds source, or by a gate
1 FM input for the filters, internal or external audio, LFO or CV
1 VCA overdrive with AR generator also
1 ring modulator input, internal or external audio, LFO or CV

The original Sherman Filterbank (Version 1) is no longer being made and is thus now completely being replaced by this new version !

The global look has remained the same, but there have been added several strong functions. To summarize :

There are 5 extra NEW SWITCHES, 1 extra INPUT (for footpedal), 2 extra new LEDs, a NEW COLOR (silver-grey) with an improved (long-lasting) varnish layer.
The inner electronics have also been adapted to achieve an EVEN BETTER SOUND-QUALITY
We also do have new packing-boxes (silver, with photo on upper side), new flashy stickers (silver) and new adaptors (with Sherman-logo).
All this with the famous solid SHERMAN-QUALITY and the well-known thorough & speedy AFTER-SALES service (repairs).

What's new?

There are 5 extra switches and 2 extra LEDs, and on the back panel there's one pedal input jack. A reworked front-panel lay-out and the grey metal color.

The pedal input allows foot control of freq1and bypass/effect switching. You can rewire an old wah (because they have a switch on board) as shown by te diagram in 'extra stuff'.
A 5mm big green LED indicates "Effect on" on the FB 2
A 3-way switch on the input stage allows Hi boost as well Hi cut (both boosting high frequencies at input)
Another 3-way switch allows "Sensitrig" (which makes the triggering twice as sensitive for, e.g. clean string pad filtering) and "Limit", which leaves the filters more "breathing room" for self-oscillation if the input stage is extremely overdriven.
A 3-way switch has 2 general transpose functions : +1 Octave and + Quint which works nice with monophonic signals, and has a specific dirty character.
A 3-way switch for the really powerful and quite revolutionary "Tracking" function - a monophonic pitch follower, that tunes filter 2 to the incoming pitch, and makes filter 1 slave of filter 2 via the harmonics switch. E.g. in position 2, filter 1 will be pitched one octave higher than filter 2, but still following the pitch. This extra switch activates the "tracking" in a normal or deep "track low" position, with stunning basses as result.

The "revolutionary" aspect of this function is that never before any similar system enhances "on the spot" harmonics and creates new harmonics with fat analog circuits.
An extra white LED indicates when the tracking system is "locked on".
At last there is an 3-way function switch in the LFO section, allowing sawtooth wave shape OR AR retrig : this forces an LFO restart from the AR trig with pumping grooves as unavoidable result. If you want to receive a new brochure, please ask your dealer first.

The Sherman Filterbank is now also midi controlable via kenton control freaks (a small portable hardware console, including sliders)

All the finger-tip MIDI control you need, instantly to hand. Forget your mixer maps and do it all in real-time. An ideal solution for the gigging musician, or the musician who likes to save time & settings. The Kenton Control Freaks are made in the U.K., by Kenton, and are preprogrammed with profiles for the Sherman Filterbank as well. Hundreds of additional profiles are available for download FREE from the Kenton website.

PLEASE NOTE: SUPPLIED WITH EU 2 PIN ADAPTER PLUG ONLY.

DJ control system with motorized platter & familiar turntable layout
Notes: The Rane DJ Twelve is a motorized control turntable that brings a seamlessly accurate, true-vinyl performance experience to digital music software. It liberates DJs and Turntablists from the pain of damaged tonearms or needles and eliminates unwanted audio feedback, bringing sub-bass back into their music. The Rane Twelve feels instantly familiar to any DJ who has played on a vinyl turntable before, but adds hot-cue and track search capability at the sweep or touch of a finger.

With no tonearm or damaged/skipping needles, the Rane Twelve gifts the Pro, Club, Scratch and Battle DJ with a zero-error, secure and solid performance environment coupled with the 100% essence of a 'real-feel', true vinyl DJ experience. The heartbeat of the music finally returns to the DJs fingertips! The Twelve's twin-torque, 12-inch motorized platter gives 3,600 ticks of resolution, per single vinyl revolution. This brings precision music file playback with hitherto unrealized digital performance accuracy - customizable even further with a DJ's own choice of slipmat/butter-rug.

For too long now, Turntablists and DJs have had to compromise at live shows on their preferred levels of sub-bass frequencies, dialling it back in fear of feedback, rumble and noise. Now, with the Rane Twelve, control vinyl DJs can #ReclaimTheBass and perform their music at the full frequency range enjoyed by their fellow 'digital' DJs. In addition, the layout of the all-metal bodied Twelve is so familiar, that any DJ who's used a turntable before will feel instantly at home. The control elements are simplicity itself to use, with 4 deck-select buttons and the multi-function touch strip for track searching and setting/triggering hot cues, in place of the tone arm.

Both an evolution and a revolutionary movement in DJ turntable technology, the Twelve motorized DJ control system is without doubt, RANEvolutionary!
