Tiptop Audio 808 annivesary bundle featuring all six 808 modules
Notes: This limited-time bundle includes all of Tiptop's 808 series drum modules: a classic combination the brings the sounds of the iconic Roland TR-808 to the Eurorack ecosystem. Designed to be the first Eurorack drum machine, Tiptop's 808 series are now some of the best-loved drum modules around, using reverse-engineered 808 circuitry to provide an authentic translation of some of the most powerful electronic instrument sounds in history.
The BD808 and SD808 provide the kick and snare backbone of this set of modules, while the HATS808 offers open and closed hats with gnarly opportunities for creating crushed, filtered hat tones. Top it all off with some claves, cowbell, rimshot, and maracas and you've got a Eurorack drum machine that sounds like it came straight from the early 1980s - in the best way possible.
Ring modulator based on the ARP 2600's 4014 ring mod - 8HP
Notes: Mobula is Delta Sound Labs' faithful take on the classic ARP 2600 ring modulator model 4014. This particular processor is renowned the world over for its clean sounding ring modulation effect. Due to its unconventional circuit design, where the positive and negative parts of the signal split between two two-quadrant multipliers, it achieves what is referred to as a four quadrant multiplication.
Built with a combination of modern closely matched and discrete transistors this super skiff friendly module is faithful to all of the original features, with the single addition of independent switching of input signal DC-blocking. This module is DC-coupled; meaning it will happily process both control voltages and audio signals at the flick of a switch. The unique electronic architecture leads to both significantly increased low frequency response and superior carrier suppression when compared to traditional transformer based ring modulation designs.
Notes: Pico BBD is surprisingly great sounding (we were surprised ourselves), full analogue 4092 stage bucket brigade delay module; the smallest BBD in Eurorack. Besides nice and clean flanger and delay effects, at full CW settings of TIME and feedback knobs it can produce extreme sonic artefacts. Tweak knobs and enjoy!
Dedicated jack expansion module for use with the Stereo Out 1U module
Notes: 1/4" TRS jack panel in 1U for the Stereo Line Out 1U module.
If you don't own an Intellijel case with built-in compatible 1/4" jacks, then you need to purchase a Stereo Out Jacks 1U module, which connects via ribbon cable to the Stereo Line Out 1U module to provide 1/4" TRS output jacks for interfacing with other studio or stage gear.
Notes: Dual VCO:
Based on the classic SYSTEM-100M modular synthesizer, the SYSTEM-500 is a fully analog recreation of one of the most revered electronic instruments of all time. Newly designed in Eurorack format, the SYSTEM-500 delivers the classic character and functionality of the original with the advantages of a modern instrument. Built in the USA and assembled in Japan, the SYSTEM-500 is made to exacting standards with top-quality components and solid controls. And it's surprisingly affordable, turning the fantasy of finally owning this legendary instrument into reality.
Classic System. New Format:
The SYSTEM-500 consists of Eurorack format modules that you can mix and match in any combination to create the ultimate Roland modular synthesizer. Each module is completely analog and has been designed for maximum compatibility with the world of contemporary synthesizer and effects modules. The SYSTEM-500 is a compact, powerful system that opens up vast possibilities for sound design and musical exploration.
512 Dual VCO:
The 512 Dual VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) is a single module consisting of two voltage controlled oscillators. Each independent VCO produces frequencies across a wide range with 1V/octave tracking and dedicated pulse, triangle, and saw wave outputs. Variable pulse width is available via panel control or CV modulation. Each oscillator's frequency can also be synchronized to the other in weak or strong modes to achieve a unique "sync" sound.
Notes: Row Power is a clean, regulated, and protected power solution for eurorack systems. Row Power 35 provides 35W of power, suited for any typical eurorack row (84HP to 168HP):
+12V @ 1.4A
-12V @ 1.25A
+5V @ 1.0A
Simply plug a universal power supply (laptop style) into either of the barrel plugs on the 4HP panel. Connect your modules via flying-bus cables or the Bus Stick.
Daisy-chain multiple Row Powers to use a single power brick for multiple rows (typically 3-5 rows per power brick). Each row will be independently regulated and protected for ultra-low cross-talk between rows. Rows can also be hot-swapped (plugged/unplugged without powering the whole system down).
Notes: If you decide to use rack ears to mount Erica Synths 84HP enclosure in the studio rack, you may want to access the PSU connection from the front of the case, instead of the top. The 4HP PSU connection module is the solution. PSU Input module is intended to be used with external PSUs which provide an output voltage from +9V to +12V ("+" in the centre).
For two row Eurorack enclosures (2x84HP), use a small screwdriver to disconnect the existing PSU connector from the blue terminal and connect the PSU connector module as shown on the photo.
For one row Eurorack enclosures (1x84HP), you will need a soldering iron to solder wires from the PSU connector module as shown on the photo. Make sure soldered wires do not touch the aluminium enclosure!
Notes: Erica Pico Noise is a versatile noise and percussion sounds source. It consists of white a noise generator, a resonant VCF to generate various colours of the noise - from extremely dark ones to high pitched resonant sweeps and a VCA/decay envelope generator combination to create range of percussion sounds to emulate hi-hats, cymbals and even sine tone-based percussion, when the resonance is full up.
Notes: Bin Seq is an eight-step switchable gate sequencer. Besides individual signals, it is also possible to notate tied events. In addition to clock and reset inputs, there are manual control options for both functions. A great utility module, which can not only be used to create simple beats, but to manipulate other sequencers or trigger modulators rhythmically as well.
Notes: Pico SEQ2 is a straight-forward, full analogue 4 step sequencer/waveshaper with adjustable sequence length. If you want to have a simple, compact stepped modulation source in your setup, then this is it! Particularly interesting use of the Pico SEQ2 is waveshaping - just apply any audio source to the CLK IN, tweak the knobs and be amazed!
Notes: The Electrosmith 3340 VCO is an all analogue, voltage controlled waveform generator that uses a reissue of the legendary Curtis CEM3340 IC.
Many believe this chip to be the greatest sounding analogue oscillator of all time. Simultaneous outputs of sine, triangle, sawtooth, and square waves are available along with linear/exponential FM, hard/soft sync, and PWM capabilities. Volt per octave tracking covers a huge 10+ octaves and is extremely stable across all temperatures. Snag a piece of history with the Electrosmith 3340 VCO.
