By using a hybrid of circuits, we created truly unique pre-amp and power tube distortion characteristics. You'll be amazed to hear the warm, organic tone that's reproduced. Brownie has a specially designed BJT input stage causing it to "break-up" when the preamp tube starts to distort. It also has an asymmetrical clipping circuit letting you simulate some of the characteristics of an actual tube amplifier. It also keeps the bottom-end tight by processing bass frequencies which can get muddy when distorted.

Nux Brownie uses a low-pass tone control filter to simulate the Variac effect (by lowering the voltage going into the amplifier) for rounding-off your tone. The range of tone is controlled yet perfect for dialling-in the high-end response. The power clipping circuit is crafted from a modern low-noise op-amp and 2 red LEDs. It can create symmetrical clipping that distorts both halves of the signal keeping the sound smooth. Notes: The EHX 5MM Guitar Power Amplifier is a pocket-sized power amp that’s a great alternative to a traditional guitar amplifier. It’s super portable and perfect in playing situations where a high-powered amp is not required… like when you’re mic’d on stage, in the studio or as a backup. It produces 2.5 watts so one of the cool things about it is that it doesn’t take much to start getting some nice drive and saturation. The EHX Bass Clone Chorus pedal's core circuitry is nearly identical to the legendary Small Clone chorus, but with added features especially for bass. Chorus is a combination of modulated and dry signals. The Bass Clone's Crossover switch cuts low end from the modulated signal so the pedal delivers a more accurately articulated bottom end with excellent note definition. The Treble control affects the whole signal while the Bass control only affects the dry half. Together with the Crossover switch they provide precise sound shaping that lets you achieve a tight, focused bass guitar sound with a well-defined low end and shimmering chorus on top.

Notes: A sophisticated noise gate that can tame a single pedal or an entire effects loop! The Silencer's three-control layout provides precise fine-tuning to fit your system, axe and playing style. Threshold adjusts how much level is required to open the noise gate and allow a signal to pass thru. Reduction regulated the degree to which the gated signal is reduced and is variable between -70dB and +4dB. Release controls how long the gate remains open after the signal drops below the Threshold. Release time is variable between 8ms and 4 seconds.

I/O includes 1/4" Input, Output, Send and Return jacks. The footswitch selects whether The Silencer is engaged or in bypass mode; buffered bypass allows the effects loop to remain in your signal path when the gate is bypassed. Notes: We have reissued the original Version 1 Big Muff and it's dripping with vintage Electro-Harmonix DNA and tone. Dubbed the Triangle Big Muff because of the layout of its Volume, Sustain and Tone controls, this is the one that started it all. The new Triangle Big Muff is a faithful re-creation of the original circa 1969 circuit now housed in a pedalboard friendly, die cast chassis.

Electro-Harmonix founder, Mike Matthews, stated: "The Big Muff Pi is the pedal we are best known for so I wanted to commemorate EHX's 50th Anniversary (1968-2018) by re-releasing V1, the very first Big Muff. Original pedals are now selling for hundreds of dollars and this reissue absolutely nails that creamy, violin-like sustain and musical tone at a price a working musician can afford.

Notes: While the OD808 may have been the first overdrive circuit of its kind, it was the OD-9 that cemented this sound in the history of Rock & Roll guitar.

Looking at the OD-9's circuit, you'll realize that this is not some redesign being cleverly marketed as a reissue - this is THE original OD-9 (TS-9) circuit, yet with the addition of true bypass switching. Even the PC board is the same one that Maxon's been using for the past 30+ years, complete with empty slots where parts for the FET switching circuit have been left out!

Like the original, the current production OD-9 features the NJM (JRC) 4558D Op Amp - an essential component for authentic "TS" tone. The NJM is smoother sounding and less compressed than other Op Amps, offering superior sound quality with low noise.

The absence of the FET switching circuit gives the OD-9 some added output and a slightly more open sound than the OD808, making it perfect for the classic rock tones that it helped to define.

If your future plans include a meteoric rise to rock & roll stardom, then rely on the legendary tones of the OD-9 to fuel your ascent.

The OD-9 is a true-to-spec reissue of the legendary 1980's OD-9/TS-9 circuit, with the addition of true bypass switching for clean, uncolored tone when bypassed.

TECH TALK:

Input is fed into a 2SC1815 emitter/follower transistor to optimize the signal's impedance structure. From here it's on to the first section of an NJM 4558D Op Amp - NJM is the company formerly known as the Japan Radio Corporation (JRC) - the legendary manufacturer that designed and built tons of these components in the late 70's/early 80's.

In this non-inverting Op Amp there are diodes in the feedback loop that clip the signal gradually as well as a High-Pass filter that keeps low frequencies from being distorted as much as high frequencies - the classic "808" configuration that creates the tone we all know and love.

After this is a passive LP filter and then an active tone stage that uses the other half of the Op Amp to create a HP filter that brings back frequencies cut by the inter-stage LP filter. After the tone stage it's through the volume pot, another E/F 2SC1815 to provide a low impedance output and then the true bypass switch.

The OD-9 features Mechanical True Bypass switching via a Fujisoku 4PDT switch - input signal is sent to ground when bypassed.

The circa-1980 Electro-Harmonix Attack Decay is a sought after prize among vintage pedal aficionados. Originally called a Tape Reverse Simulator, it's known for producing volume and reverse swells, backward tape sounds, artificially short staccato notes and bowed instrument effects. The freshly designed EHX Attack Decay reinterprets the classic and keeps its cool factor, but adds some modern features for convenience and enhanced functionality.

It can produce a single volume envelope like the original, or, with Poly engaged, put separate volume envelopes on each note you play. The built-in Harmonix fuzz is now a fully controllable distortion with gain, tone and volume controls. Its foot-switchable overdrive section adds to the pedal's versatility with dedicated controls for Volume, Tone and Drive. (Volume) swell is controlled by a dedicated knob. As it's turned clockwise swell increases from zero and notes fade in more gradually.

The Platform is equipped for true stereo operation and can be used as Mono In and Out, Mono In and Stereo Out, or Stereo In and Stereo Out. The pedal includes a three color, bar graph, LED array with eight LEDs that display the compressor's actual gain reduction in real-time; they act in opposite to a VU meter. The Platform Stereo Compressor/Limiter comes with an EHX9.6-200mA power supply.

Cirrus is KMA Audio Machines' first step into the fully digital realm. But KMA have come up with a special and versatile, dynamically modulated combined Delay and Reverb pedal that will forever change your perception of time and space.

Made up of a Delay side and a Reverb side, both sides of Cirrus sport the most important basic controls such as Time (up to 1.5 sec). Repeats for the Delay and Decay and Damp for the Reverb. Plus, each side has its own mix control as well. So far so good, but now it's time to jump down the sonic wormhole!

This little Spatial-Temporal Modifier gives you three different Delay AND Reverb modes, which all sport a special dynamic feature that is controlled by your picking attack. This enables you to create sounds that are certifiably out of this world! To set the sensitivity of how the sound reacts, every section has its own sensitivity control.

The different Delay and Reverb modes cover vastly different modulated areas.

Modulated Delay Mode (MOD) fluctuates the Delay signal for a dynamic dancing tape echo-inspired modulation that'll deliver everything from subtle sways, to crazy pitch-bends. The Sample & Hold Mode (S/H) adds a sequencer-like filter in front of the Delay line, perfect for synthy textures. Play softly for subtle filter action or hit it hard for more pronounced electro-vibes. The third Delay Mode (OCT) blends in a high octave as your notes decay for unique shimmery dimensions, shining through like tiny stars in the cloudy night sky.

Over to the Reverb section, Modulated Reverb Mode (MOD) will decorate your trails with silky smooth movement, whereas the two other Modes deliver either an opening Low-pass Filter (LP) or a closing High-pass Filter (HP). The harder you pick the more the Low-pass will open up and bring in those shimmering highs, as if you're opening and closing portals to far away galaxies simply through your playing. Contrary to that, the closing High-pass will cut your lower frequencies when picking harder which will create cool lo-f textures. However, the ambient party doesn't stop here!

A big part of creating a signature sound comes from your pedal order and we know that a lot of you like to get creative there. Well, the Cirrus obliges! Set the Order Toggle to "Reverb" to run the Delay into the Reverb or flip it to "Delay" to switch it the other way - either direction will give you worlds of inspired soundscapes. You even get another Toggle Switch to set the Delay Tap subdivision, so you can get the right rhythms rolling fast. Toggles are awesome!

Now, on to the footswitches - Tap-Tempo on the left (neat!) and the much-needed Bypass Switch on the right (classic!). But wait, we actually made these stompers cool - the humble Bypass and Tap-Tempo Switches are suddenly full of additional creative secrets!

Besides the standard latching mode, the Bypass Switch offers some cool, yet creative and simple to use options. When the pedal is off, you can engage the pedal momentarily by holding the Switch down for sudden bursts of ambience. When the pedal is on though, holding down the Switch maxes out the Decay, jumping you straight into infinite reverb wonderland. You can also hold down the Tap-Tempo Switch to max out the repeats for infinite echoes. Plus, you can even hold down BOTH at the same time to enter an endless cascading dream state!

The Cirrus has been equipped with an Expression Pedal input (standard TRS connection) and a Selector Switch, giving you complete hands-free control over whatever key parameter of Cirrus you want. In addition, an internal switch can turn the Reverb and Delay trails on or off to taste, plus the individual Reverb and Delay mix controls help to tailor your sound exactly as you see ft.

As the final piece of the tonal puzzle, a Serial FX-Loop was added, letting you put any pedal in front of the Delay/Reverb line, to further flavour your own signature sound.

We use external manufactured PCBs to guarantee our high quality standard and keep the price of our pedals reasonable. The use of an indestructible powdercoated die-cast enclosure ensures a maximum durability.
