Pet Shop Boys release their brand new studio album 'Nonetheless' on Parlophone Records on April 26th 2024.
The album is the duo's first with producer James Ford, who has previously worked with artists including Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Blur, Gorillaz and Simian Mobile Disco. The album also sees the duo return to Parlophone, the label which released their iconic and massively successful material spanning between 1985 and 2012.
'Nonetheless' features 10 brand new tracks, recorded and mixed in London last year, primarily at James Ford's studio in East London. The orchestra and backing vocals were recorded at The Church studio in North London.

The film further explores how Kraftwerk both fitted into and pulled away from the electronic wing of what is often lazily referred to as Krautrock . The unique and unusual brand of "outsider music" that Butch Willis & The Rocks created captivated the local music scene beginning with their appearance at the seminal Primitive Night in 1984. AMATEUR ON PLASTIC chronicles Butch's life and career from the beginning all the way through to present day. It features a host of Butch-appointed band managers Joe Lee, Jeff Mentges, Jeff Krulik and director Mark Robinson. Also co-starring is Al Breon, the Rocks' innovative "throat guitarist."
Stylistically, the film unintentionally hovers between amateurish and avant- garde, much like Butch's own music and career.

Guiding us through these 'cycles' is the voice of the Electrifying Mojo, legendary DJ, poet of the Mental Machine and spiritual mentor of techno. His humble beginnings in Hull, England underpinned the values and modest, unpretentious personality of Mick Ronson, who worked with the city's council while he pursued his craft with consummate dedication. Soon word of his talent reached David Bowie, who grabbed at the chance to work with Ronson, in what would become a career-long association, alongside collaborations with other greats such as Bob Dylan, Ian Hunter, Lulu and Lou Reed.
The Man Who Sold the World, Aladdin Sane, Hunky Dory, The Jean Genie - all were constructed with Ronson on guitar.
Sadly in 1993, while working on a solo album, Ronson passed away before receiving the recognition he so richly deserved or before taking that final bow. Now, with unprecedented access to archival backstage footage - never before released - and iconic imagery from superstar photographer Mick Rock, this fascinating and at times controversial special reveals the ultimate authentic chronicle of the career of a cornerstone of rock.
