This stand has been precision machined and hand finished, the panels have been recessed for your Roland TR8S to make sure it's held firmly in place.

Notes: You are looking at custom-made Korg Volca QUAD Stand / End Cheeks.

This stand holds 4 Korg Volcas, although the Korg SQ1 will also fit.

This stand is made from MDF Fibreboard, and is connected via 16x allen head Confirmat screws (Allen Key & Screws Provided) into a mdf wood bar.

Please note: you will get plain MDF and not darker like in some of the photos.

These are a great addition to the Volcas, and give a much nicer look and working angle. You can also flip them round to have a much steeper angle if you prefer. These can also be painted with ease or stained with wood stain to suit your studio.

The Volcas fit snuggly into the stand so do not fully tighten the screws until the Volca is placed inside then tighten screws to hold in place firmly. Make sure you do this on a flat surface, to ensure the feet are correctly aligned.

Review: One of many names in the pantheons of Tokyo's electronic music triumphs, despite their acclaim, reverence among boffins, and the sprinkling of high profile UK remixers that helped spread their output further (copies of reworkings by The Black Dog, Autechre and Global Communication fetch a fair song on the resale market) most will never have heard about Nav Katze. Their loss, and one we'd like to put right if possible.

Formed in 1984 as a trio - Naoko Iimura (guitar), Miwako Yamaguchi (vocals and bass), and Shino Furutachi (drums) - the band would put out two well received record on SWITCH before migrating to the far more prominent label Victor Music Industries for 1991's Kanki, at which point three became two with Furutachi stepping down. This package showcases not only why their original material was so sought after, with trance notes, IDM and ambient and pop meeting in beautiful soundscapes - but also what can happen when new parties get involved, with remixes from Aphex Twin, Sun Electric and Disjecta included.

Review: Those interested in Japanese cartoons should know Space Adventure Cobra. First broadcast in 1982, it is now considered one of the country's finest animated TV series. This triple-vinyl box set celebrates Kentano Haneda and Yuji Ono's music from the series, combining compositions featured on the show with unheard extended versions and tracks that never made the cut first time round. Musically, it's a mix of Japanese disco, sax-sporting lounge jazz, jazz-funk, neo-classical movements and eccentric interludes, all doused in layers of cosmic dust and stargazing colour. Notes: The 3:1 Mixer has two section of 3 inputs to a single output. Each input will be mixed at 1/3 of the level of the input. Each section has an LED indicator indicating activity on the output. Section 1 is normalled to section 2 so it can easily behave as a 6:1 mixer as well.

Notes: An interface for the case 1/4" jacks in Intelljel cases. The jacks are marked as if they are part of the case, so the jacks marked out, require an input.

The module sports both input and output for either a consumer line level (0.447Vpk) or a professional line level (1.095Vpk). These levels are controllable via jumper on the back of the module. It can also have a single input and output channel switched to pedal level. The case output is fed to the headphone amp that has a corresponding level control. The module otherwise does not have any level control and relies on using a VCA or other module to perform any level controls.

Mono Cartridge

Grado strives to deliver products that will fit all the needs of the analogue enthusiast. To this end, Grado offers two new cartridge models in a mono version. The ME+, like the MC+, is mounted with an elliptical diamond.

Optimised Transmission Line

Prestige model ME+ uses a modified four piece OTL cantilever technology, oxygen free wire in the coils and a specially designed, high polished, elliptical diamond mounted in a brass bushing. This provides an ideal transfer of the signal from point to point, stylus to cantilever to magnet to coils, etc achieved by eliminating resonance at each of these key junctions. The transmission line cantilever consists of separate sections that are telescoped into each other.

All sections are made of different alloys, some sections hollow, other sections solid. These sections are bonded together with materials that act as dampers and are coated with a black proprietary material which controls and absorbs resonances that travel on the surface of the cantilever. The OTL stylus/cantilever design will make your records sound quieter, improve the height, width, and depth of the soundstage and offer more detail than previously obtainable.

Pivoted-Fixed Axial

This design feature is basically quite simple. The "OTL" cantilever shaft is brought to a fixed axial pivot that supports the entire cantilever assembly. A miniature element attached to the end of the cantilever is allowed to move freely within the lines of flux of a stationary magnet and coil structure.

This system of support is mechanically more accurate (more linear) than conventional "teeter-totter" designs that utilize an iron armature to balance the mass of the cantilever. The teeter-totter design is supported in the centre with a rubber doughnut mounting. The fixed axial design has a very low tip mass, which results in lower distortion, improved transient response, and longer record life.

Flux-Bridger Generator

The Flux-Bridger design uses four separate magnetic gaps that the miniature element of the cantilever bridges. The miniature element moves between opposing flux gaps creating an increase in flux in one gap while reducing it in the other. The four separate magnetic gaps create a highly efficient and perfectly balanced system. This design requires fewer coil turns than conventional designs.
