Mooer Audio Autuner Vocal Autotune Effects Pedal (pitch/frequency effects pedal)
Cat: 992160 Rel: 04 Apr 24

Vocal autotune effects pedal
Notes: MOOER has unveiled its latest effect pedal innovation, the MVP1 AUTUNER vocal processor. Unlike most of MOOER's products, this pedal is designed primarily for use with vocals, offering precise pitch correction and exceptional vocal enhancement features. However, MOOER hasn't forgotten about its primary audience, so AUTUNER still provides features that will interest guitarists.

Due to the pedal's primary focus on vocals, the device includes several features specifically designed for microphone usage. This includes XLR input and output, in addition to support for 48V phantom power, ensuring that the pedal supports both dynamic and condenser microphones. However, AUTUNER also includes standard 1/4" guitar inputs and outputs, along with convenient footswitch control to switch between mixed or individual signals.

The pitch correction features behind AUTUNER are highly versatile. With an LED button, users can choose between flat, warm, and bright vocal tones, each indicated by a different colour. Once a tone has been chosen, the 'correction' dial can be used to define the sensitivity of the pitch correction. Users can also press and hold the left footswitch to trigger the pitch correction's vocal synthesizer mode.

AUTUNER's versatility shines particularly brightly thanks to its built-in effects modules. The first of these is delay; the delay module can be can controlled with its dedicated dial, with users having the option to choose between tape delay, digital delay, slapback delay, or bypass. The pedal's left footswitch serves as a tap switch, which allows the user to determine the speed of the delay module.

A reverb module is also featured within AUTUNER. This too has its own dedicated dial, which can be used to morph between room delay, hall delay, and plate delay. Whilst the pitch correction features of the pedal are limited only to vocals, these delay and reverb modules ensure that the pedal has plenty of dedicated features to offer MOOER's guitarist fanbase.

As is common with MOOER products, AUTUNER features a wide range of control mechanisms. In addition to the left footswitch's dual functionality, the right footswitch also acts as a bypass for the pitch correction and effects, whilst still ensuring the tone processing remains active. The pedal's tonal enhancements can then be fully bypassed with the 'flat' tone option.

In addition to its core features, the MVP1 AUTUNER also includes a gain dial, a 48V phantom power switch for internal microphone amplification, a grounding switch, and a DC 9V 500mA power input. Overall, the features of this pedal ensure that musicians have everything they need for impressive pitch correction, vocal synthesis, and special processing, whilst ensuring that they never have to rely on external batteries.

Boss OC-5 Octave Effects Pedal Boss OC-5 Octave Effects Pedal Boss OC-5 Octave Effects Pedal
Boss OC-5 Octave Effects Pedal (pitch/frequency effects pedal)
Cat: 996380 Rel: 16 Feb 24

Octave effects pedal
Notes: The New Standard in Octave Pedals

Fusing classic BOSS octave tones with the latest tracking technologies, the BOSS OC-5 sets a new standard in octave pedal performance. Vintage mode provides a spot-on recreation of the legendary mono OC-2 from 1982, while Poly mode offers numerous enhancements for extended-range playing. And with the addition of an octave-up feature, a span of three octaves is now available for creative exploration. From fat, low mono sounds to octave-shifted chords and more, the OC-5 delivers the widest range, finest sound quality, and best playability in any octave stomp to date.

OC-5 Octave Sound Tryout

Get interactive with our custom TonePedia player and explore hundreds of sound variations. Select your instrument, tweak and choose pedal settings.

High-Octane Octave Performance

Powered by the latest real-time processing technologies from BOSS, the OC-5 provides exceptional sound and playability for the most expressive octave experience ever. A key feature is the newly developed tracking engine, which delivers clean, accurate performance with no latency. The OC-5 also offers wider range and greater polyphonic capabilities than previous OC models, covering all your octave needs in one high-performance pedal.

Classic Tones with Vintage Mode

Introduced in 1982, the OC-2 was the world's first modern octave pedal for guitar and bass. Still loved by players everywhere, the stomp's warm-yet-present tone sits perfectly in a mix, and its characteristic voice can be heard in many famous songs. The OC-5's Vintage mode brings you the OC-2's iconic mono sound, coupled with improved response thanks to the new tracking engine. Dedicated level controls are provided for -1 and -2 octave effects and the direct sound, giving you quick access to an endless variety of sub-octave colours.

Enhanced Poly Mode

The OC-5 also features an evolved version of the smart Poly mode first introduced with the OC-3 Super Octave, letting you play full chords with octave effects. The variable Range knob restricts the effect to the lower notes on your instrument, perfect for playing octave bass lines alongside normal chords and melodies in the higher registers. And with the new tracking refinements, it's even possible to isolate the octave effect to the bottom note in a chord-just turn the Range knob to the "Lowest" setting.

Extended Range with Octave Up

Another cool OC-5 enhancement is the new octave-up effect, which is available in both Vintage and Poly modes. Simply twist the dedicated +1 OCT knob to bring in the desired effect level. Use the octave-up effect on its own for faux 12-string sounds and unique solo tones, or blend it with the octave-down effects for extended chord voicings and super-fat leads.

Guitar/Bass Switch and Direct Out

The OC-5 lets you instantly optimize the performance of its tracking engine for either guitar or bass via a dedicated switch on the body of the pedal. And with the Direct Out jack, it's easy to route dry and effect sounds to different destinations, such as two stage amps or discrete channels on a mixer or audio interface.

Keeley Compressor Plus Classic Compressor Effects Pedal With Added Tone & Blend Control
Cat: 782367 Rel: 04 Aug 20

Compressor pedal
Notes: The Keeley Compressor is the most popular boutique compressor in the world.

The Keeley Compressor Plus is the first true advancement in Keeley's 2 and 4 knob compressor line. The new features are simple and straight forward. Now, there is a simple Release Switch that is tuned for single coils or humbuckers. No more wondering if you have the attack or release set right. Your humbuckers will have all the attack and punch that they should. The Tone Control was also added, which emphasizes the most sensitive harmonics that can be lost in compression. The Compressor Plus now sports a Blend Control that retains the peaks in your playing and, more importantly, the proper phasing of your guitar signal. The Keeley Compressor Plus offers the same gorgeous push of frequencies and sweetening of tone that the old comps gave you, now with the flexibility to easily handle any instrument.

The Keeley Compressor Plus is a compressor with an expander/sustainer. Not only does it act as a regular compressor, limiting the peaks in your playing, it adds more and more gain as notes fade out. Now you have sustain. Nothing worse than a note or a bend that has died before its time. The Keeley Compressor Plus adds just the right amount of sustain and expressive bloom to your notes.

The new Release Switch on the Keeley Compressor Plus is designed to make it very easy to transition between single coil and humbucker guitars. Humbuckers have more average energy than single coils which can cause compressors to stay in "compression mode" for a lot longer. When this happens, any series of notes you play will sound dull. With the quick release of the new Compressor Plus, your humbuckers remain true sounding, and each note retains dynamic attack and definition.

The Tone Control is Keeley's own design taken from analog delays and other vintage effects. Those effects used an emphasis circuit to recover treble and highs after they went through the BBD or other analog delay lines. That circuit was then taken and made it into a full fledged tone controll- it is the perfect way to gently add back in those highs lost in the compression process.

The Blend Control is a way of getting the peaks to come through while having sustain at the same time. So if you want sustain more than peak-limiting, this style of Manhattan Compression is for you! Keep all the peaks and transients with the Blend and Tone Controls while adding sustain on the back end. Heaven!

This compressor isn't just for heavy funk or chicken pickin' anymore. The new Compressor Plus is for players wanting a smooth, subtle wash from their guitar. Remove just the right amount of peaks for an ambient layer and then blend in the right amount of treble for a nice shimmer to your guitar. Use with your favorite fuzz to create a wall of tone like you've only heard on records. Looping has never been easier than with this compressor. Consider it an essential tool when creating loops that sound well-balanced. Forget it all and use the Compressor Plus for the best amp boost you've heard. Nothing pushes an amp better than the Keeley Compressor Plus.

Digitech Mosaic Polyphonic 12-String Effects Pedal Digitech Mosaic Polyphonic 12-String Effects Pedal Digitech Mosaic Polyphonic 12-String Effects Pedal Digitech Mosaic Polyphonic 12-String Effects Pedal
Cat: 560024 Rel: 15 Jan 15

Polyphonic 12-string effects pedal.
Notes: The DigiTechr Mosaic Polyphonic 12-String effect pedal sets you upon the path of creating lush 12-string sounds with either 6-string electric or amplified acoustic guitars. Immediately identifiable 12-string tones are now yours with octave low strings and doubled high strings. Single notes and full chordal strums shine with polyphonic richness and celestial movement that will inspire you. The Mosaic's balanced low-end response with crisp octave shimmer produces a tone that's lush and articulate, just as with a 12-string guitar.

Tailor the Mosaic's sound with the independent Level and Tone controls. Level will control the 12-string effect intensity while Tone shapes the overall brightness of the effect. The Mosaic will give you a richer, more resonant and full tone than a standard six-string guitar. It is true bypass and uses a 9V DC power supply to easily integrate into your existing pedalboard.

Nobels ODR-1 30th Anniversary Overdive Effects Pedal (limited gold sparkle edition) Nobels ODR-1 30th Anniversary Overdive Effects Pedal (limited gold sparkle edition) Nobels ODR-1 30th Anniversary Overdive Effects Pedal (limited gold sparkle edition) Nobels ODR-1 30th Anniversary Overdive Effects Pedal (limited gold sparkle edition)

Overdrive effects pedal
Notes: The ODR-1 30th Anniversary Overdrive - Limited Gold Sparkle Edition commemorates three decades since the pedal's introduction in 1993.

Ideal for blues and crunchy rock sounds (or for that extra punch when soloing), the Nobels ODR-1 has been the first choice and secret weapon for many players and top studio guitarists for 30 years. To celebrate this milestone, Nobels have produced a very special gold sparkle finish edition and added a new versatile and convenient Bass Cut Pot for more even more tonal flexibility.

Limited to 5000 units worldwide, each pedal is numbered and includes a certificate, a sticker, a special plectrum and features the original ODR-1 front cover design.

The top selling ODR-1 pedal has developed its own almost cult following since it was first designed and engineered way back in the eighties. At NAMM 2020, the pedal was upgraded to the now current ODR-1BC model. With the addition of a (much-requested) bass cut switch to help tame low end (if needed for humbuckers etc.) as well as newly developed power circuitry for enhanced headroom, it makes the pedal way more versatile for the modern age.

However, in celebration of three decades of Natural Overdrive, the ODR-1 30th Anniversary Overdrive now features an even more useful and convenient variable Bass Cut Pot, based on feedback from musicians around the world. It also retains all the other upgraded features from the BC model such as higher headroom and Glow-in-the-Dark knobs, as well as Nobels' Spectrum control- one of the most important ingredients of the original pedal's success.

The very special gold sparkle finish makes this edition look as stunning as it sounds and only a limited number of ODR-1 30th Anniversary Overdrive pedals will be released, just 5000 worldwide.

So grab a piece of legendary overdrive history while you can!

The Special Cranker is an all-discrete analogue distortion enhancement device designed to give your signal some extra grit and boost without drastically altering your tone and retaining all of thenatural nuances and character of your amp.
Notes: EarthQuaker Devices Special Cranker

An Overdrive you can trust

The Special Cranker is an all-discrete analogue distortion enhancement device designed to give your signal some extra grit and boost without drastically altering your tone and retaining all of the natural nuances and character of your amp. Think of it as sticking an extra preamp tube in your amplifier for more saturation. Single notes will blossom and bloom with rich harmonics and singing sustain with responsive, tube-like sag. Power chords will sound thicker and crunchier, a little more ragged around the edges. Complex chords will remain distinct and complex, as the Special Cranker is designed to preserve your tone's integrity without muddying up the low-end or smearing the midrange.

The Special Cranker picks up where the beloved Speaker Cranker left off. It has the same spongy, dynamic, and touch-sensitive character of the original but with more gain, double the output volume (now with a user-friendly Level control), an added Tone control to shape your signal, and a diode selector switch featuring the original asymmetrical Silicon diodes as well as a hot, new Germanium diode option.

The More control goes from nearly clean to a medium gain overdrive when at maximum. This control adjusts the bias of the transistor, so you may hear a little noise as you turn the control. Don't freak out; it's totally fine. The gain characteristics are dependent on which diodes are chosen. When the Germanium diodes are selected, the Special Cranker delivers a softer, more rounded response with tamed highs and lower output, while the Silicon diodes add a brighter, more modern edge and higher output. Both are exceptionally responsive to playing dynamics and have excellent clarity. The Tone control gives the user full command over treble frequencies, cutting the highs when counter-clockwise and adding a slight high-frequency boost when turned clockwise. The Level control adjusts the output from nothing to nearly double at maximum.

Tech Specs:

Dimensions: 4.75 x 2.50 x 2.25 in. (121 x 64 x 57 mm) with knobs
Current Draw: 15 mA
Input Impedance: 5M P
Output Impedance: <25 kO

Flexi-Switchr Technology
This device features Flexi-Switchr Technology! This relay-based, true bypass switching style allows you to simultaneously use momentary and latching style switching.

For standard latching operation, tap the footswitch once to activate the effect and then tap again to bypass.

For momentary operation, hold the footswitch down for as long as you'd like to use the effect. Once you release the switch the effect will be bypassed.

Since the switching is relay based, it requires power to pass signal.

Power:

This device should be powered a standard 9-volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise.

The Special Cranker can be safely operated from 9-18 volts.

Notes: ***B-STOCK: Box opened, product in perfect working order***

The Surf Rider IV brings the surf and sand in a ground-up redesign that packs 3 distinct spring tank emulations, based on some of everyone's favourite vintage spring-laden pieces. The available reverb modes include a tight tank, based on the 60s Reverberocket, the classic splash of Solid Gold's early silver panel Super Reverb and the SGFX fantasy tank, with a slightly exaggerated drip and decay for when you want Misirlou to sound certifiably otherworldly.

Housed in a compact package, with expanded controls and added features like soft-touch bypass switching with trails, selectable momentary or latching modulation and top-mounted jacks, the Surf Rider IV is guaranteed to satisfy like a cool breeze in the sweltering heat. So, plug in honey bunny, crank it up and get your Dick Dale on!

Whether you add just a touch for a little extra depth and space or if you like your rig soaking wet and dripping with the sounds of a crashing waves, nothing quite captures the vibe of surf and summer like a good spring tank. So, here's how you operate your new favourite splash machine.

The pedal comes jam packed with 3 distinct spring reverb tanks, selectable via the 3-position toggle, each carefully crafted to give you the ultimate spring reverb experience.

Reverb-O-Rocket: Modelled after the shorter spring tanks found on Solid Gold's '62 Reverberocket and Space Echo, the Reverb-O-Rocket is designed to add depth and space to your sound, without soaking your rig. This tighter tank is crafted to emphasize the warmth of your guitar while maintaining a smooth and subtle spring reverb tail.

Super Reverb: Delivering the classic splash of Solid Gold's favourite 4x10 Fender, the Super Reverb is the ultimate amp style spring reverb emulation. Wider tails that bounce back and forth with that unmistakable metallic twerp. So get ready to be drenched in that classic 60s sound.

Fantasy Reverb: Put on your board shorts and dive into the Fantasy Reverb. If you like it soaking wet, dripping with 'verb and splashy like a crashing wave, this is the one for you. A spring reverb where each characteristic of the attack and tail is pushed to physically impossible limits. Exaggerated decay, floppier springs and a thicker body are all there when you need to go to eleven.

Surf Rider IV's Decay knob sets the amount of time your signal bounces back and forth in the spring tank. If you turn it up all the way, your signal will clang, twerp and bounce with a huge tail.

Level controls the volume of the reverb (wet) signal while the Dwell control adjusts how lively your spring tank will be. Turn it up all the way and get lost in the clangy ambience that a spring tank is famous for. Alternatively, just turn it down to get a warmer 'verb. While the Body control sets how chunky the reverb is. Looking for a huge, echoey tail? Crank it all the way up! Want the reverberations to cut through the mix? Turn it down.

Want to add even more movement to your surfing tones? Well Surf Rider IV also has you covered. The multi-function footswitch not only turns the pedal on or off, but when held down will activate a mild pitch modulation. Internal dip switches set the function of the bypass and modulation. The Speed and Depth of the modulation can also be adjusted to taste.

Power: The SRIV requires a center-negative 9VDC power adapter with at least 70mA of current (not included).

Walrus Audio Fundamental Series Ambient Reverb Effects Pedal Walrus Audio Fundamental Series Ambient Reverb Effects Pedal
Cat: 1008777 Rel: 27 Mar 24

Expansive pillowy reverb with three atmospheric modes in a compact size
Notes: For the Fundamental Series, Walrus Audio challenged themselves to design a set of pedals with the tonal integrity that's required to live on a professional's pedalboard, but with simplified controls friendly enough for even the newest effect pedal users. Each Fundamental pedal has three faders for tweaking the sound and a three-way switch for changing pedal modes. The result is a line of pedals that will keep you covered from your first band practice all the way to a sold-out arena. Designed and assembled at Walrus Audio headquarters in OKC, OK.

Because vast ambient sounds shouldn't just be for larger pedals with vast price points, the Fundamental Ambient brings expansive pillowy reverb to the Fundamental Series with three atmospheric modes in a compact size. The Fundamental Ambient offers a great entry point into ambient exploration with the tonal integrity to live on a professional's pedalboard but with simplified controls friendly enough for even the newest effect pedal users. With Ambient's three reverb algorithms, you can experiment with deep, dark pad-like sounds to AM Radio-like lo-fi sounds with the flip of a switch.

The Fundamental Ambient provides three different atmospheric reverb algorithms to explore beautifully vast and lush soundscapes with plenty of decay time for pillowy soft pad-like decay.

Modes:

Deep - A dark ambient reverb with an added low octave, perfect for creating murky, cavernous sustain or adding a touch of moody atmosphere.
Lush - A breathy, expansive reverb featuring ultra-long sustain. Perfect for generating silky pads and immersive soundscapes with every note.
Haze - A textured, lo-fi reverb featuring distortion, sample rate reduction, and a resonant bandpass tone control, great for vintage or experimental tones.
Decay: Control the amount of reverb decay time. Left is the minimum and right is the maximum amount of time.
Tone: Shapes the overall tonality of the reverb. On Deep and Lush this controls the cutoff of a synth-style lowpass filter. On Haze this controls the width of a resonant bandpass filter, filtering both high and low end at the right, and allowing more high and low to pass through at the left.
Mix: Control the mix of the effect and the original clean signal. All the way to the left outputs only the fully clean signal, and all the way to the right outputs only the affected Reverb signal.
Slide Switch - The slide switch allows you to change between three distinct Reverb algorithms.

Trails Mode - The Fundamental Ambient Reverb comes with trails mode active by default, to disengage trails mode hold down the bypass stomp switch when applying power to the pedal. Once the LED flashes it indicates that trails mode is turned off. To re-engage trails mode, repeat the process, and wait for the LED to turn dark, indicating that trails mode is back on. With trails mode active, your reverb decay will fade off naturally after turning the pedal off. With trails mode inactive, the decay abruptly cuts off when you turn off the pedal.

Ring modulator effects pedall.
Notes: Pairing an adjustable carrier signal with a revamped distortion circuit, the DOD Gonkulator essentially brings two effects into one chassis with controls for ring, frequency, gain and distortion. Capable of all the weird modulation goodness of the '90s original with the added ability to cover distorted experimental ground, this pedal pushes boundaries and makes statements with modulating effects limited only by imagination. From bell-like clangs to spastic robotic breakdowns, the Gonk demands attention.

Andy Summer's flanger effects pedal.
Notes: Celebrating the classic, shimmering flanger sounds of Andy Summers, the EHX Walking on the Moon is a tribute to the tones Andy employed while carving his niche in the early days of playing with the Police. Liquid flange effects that hint toward chorus with extra depth and nuance make Andy's sound one of the most coveted in all of the guitar universe.

"This beautiful shimmering which sort of made the sound more bigger and more glamourous - became a sort of characteristic of my guitar sound - A big part of my guitar sound at that time in The Police was the flange sound which we have here today in this great new pedal." - Andy Summers

The Andy Summers Walking on the Moon is an analogue flanger with a simple but powerful control set of RATE, RANGE, and COLOR. RATE sets the speed of modulation which ranges from slow, smooth filter sweeps to jittering vibrato. RANGE controls how narrow or wide the effect sweeps into the bass frequency range. The COLOR control effects the intensity of the flanger effect from subtle chorusing effects to classic jet woosh sounds. These three controls interact to create a wide breath of modulation effects.

Additionally, the Walking on the Moon includes a FILTER MATRIX which disengages the LFO from the flanger circuit, freezing the flanger giving a fixed filter effect, which can add chime or metallic overtones to your sound without the movement of a traditional modulation pedal. A DRY output allows you to split your dry signal from the effected signal.

Special Artist Edition graphics featuring Andy's signature adorn the chassis and a tribute Walking on the Moon poster with art by Laura Josephson is included with each pedal.

Cat: 972480 Rel: 12 Oct 23

Digital reverse tape effects pedal.
Notes: Seductive swells and reverse tape effects push the envelope on any pedalboard!

The original Attack Decay Tape Reverse Simulator is known for producing volume and reverse swells, backward tape sounds, artificially short staccato notes, and bowed instrument effects. In 2019 the digital Attack Decay reissue was released, and now the Pico Attack Decay gives us volume envelope effects in a simplified, compact package.

The Pico Attack Decay allows you to dial in volume swells and decays, both in Mono mode-one volume envelope for all notes you play-and the revolutionary Poly mode where each note to has its own volume envelope creating cascading swell effects and leads with agile attack smoothing. With intuitive functionality and simple controls, the Pico Attack Decay opens up creative avenues for any player interested in pushing the (volume) envelope.

The Pico Attack Decay is both powerful and simple with four knobs and a mode button that let you create a wide variety of effects. The ATTACK knob sets the swell or fade-in speed of the volume envelope while the DECAY knob sets the fade-out speed of the volume envelope. Set the ATTACK higher for languid volume swells. Set the DECAY higher for artificially staccato notes for synth-like punches. SENS adjusts the threshold for triggering the envelope. VOL controls the overall output volume. A hidden BLEND control allows you to blend wet and dry signals for even more flexibility in tone.

Dynamic audio grinder effects pedal
Notes: Zoar is a highly interactive medium-high gain discrete distortion (using only transistors; no opamps or diodes in here!) that has that highly sought after touch sensitive amp-like quality.

It has been finely tuned to create a highly tweakable hi-fi and modern sounding distortion, but with the ghosts of old school circuitry to deliver a grind that is both instantly familiar and delightfully unique.

From defined sparkle and tightness of an overdrive to low-medium gain fuzz that's perfect for drop tuned guitars and basses, Zoar can do it all. Zoar lets you dial in and control every nuance of your tone from jangly on-the-verge of break up to blowing the walls out heavy saturation.

While having its roots in a very familiar past, the passive 3-band EQ has been finely tuned for modern tones. While this style of tone shaping seems simple on the surface, it is deceptively complex and highly interactive - yet surprisingly easy to instantly dial in dozens of mind blowing sounds.

Want to elevate your sonic spirit to a higher level? Try running Zoar at higher voltage! Zoar can handle power up to 18v DC. Higher voltages will yield a different frequency response with more defined dynamics and a faster response. When powered at 18v, the range of clean tones are widened, dirty tones become punchier with better note articulation, low frequencies are tightened, higher frequencies will cover a broader spectrum without becoming harsh and the output volume nearly doubles! The experience is not unlike plugging into a wall of high wattage tube amplifiers!

This meticulously crafted box has six knobs that allow you to truly customize your sound with the Level, Weight, Gain, Bass, Middle, and Treble controls.

The Gain control on Zoar goes from the edge of break up all the way over the cliff into the crunchy, grinding abyss. The character of the distortion is heavily dependent on the setting of the Weight control as well as the pickup type and further fine-tuned by the EQ section.

Zoar's 3-Band EQ and Gain controls give you nearly unlimited options with great focus and sensitive precision, but the real powerhouse of Zoar is the Weight control. This control dictates the amount of low end that is passed into the circuit, thus controlling the entire character of the pedal. Simply dial in the 3-Band EQ to 12 o'clock and adjust the Weight to see how drastically it dictates your sound. From a mere clean boost to a high gain distortion to overdrive to the crispy Hi-Fi fuzz territory, this function gives you everything.

The Level control hits unity around noon, but this is dependent on where the other controls are set. In addition to controlling the output volume, it also plays a small part in controlling the voice of Zoar. By adjusting the Level control with any combination of EQ (boosting the frequency bands and cutting the output volume), you can achieve drastically different curves that have the feel of the more traditional low pass filter type tone control.

Low signal shredder effects pedal
Notes: The Blumes is an overdrive based on the Plumes circuit that is ideal for bass players and all purveyors of low-end. While embodying the key characteristics and features of the Plumes, EQD went ahead and modified this circuit with double the gain and a deeper bass response to retain all the low end.

At lower gain settings, you'll get all of the crunchy tone you love about the original, but once you get above noon on the Gain control, that's where the similarities stop.

This all-analogue tri-mode overdrive with soft clipping carries the torch of the classic screamer circuit but has a voice all its own. And thanks to its +/- power supply it utilizes bipolar power, which gives you more dynamics, clarity, and all the headroom you could ever desire. The end result is a more three-dimensional tone with added clarity that really pushes a nice tube amp over the edge.

And much like the Plumes, this pedal offers three different clipping options for your desired low end face melting needs.

The Blumes features EarthQuaker Devices relay-based "soft touch" Flexi-Switch Technology for both momentary and latching footswitch operation as well as a very low 25mA current draw.

Each and every Blumes is built one-at-a-time by delightful little hands in Akron, Ohio; the charred, black heart in the heart of it all...

BOSS DD-3T Digital Delay Effects Pedal BOSS DD-3T Digital Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 996027 Rel: 16 Feb 24

Digital delay effects pedal
Notes: BOSS's iconic DD-3 Digital Delay has been a pedalboard staple since 1986, loved everywhere for its great sound and simple operation. With the DD-3T, we've updated the classic stomp with enhanced functionality while fully retaining the original's sound and control layout. It's now possible to tap in delay tempos using the onboard switch or an external one, with your choice of three beat subdivisions. And the direct output jack has been moved next to the main output, providing easier connectivity for wet/dry setups.

In continuous production for over three decades, the DD-3 has been the go-to delay stomp for countless players. Based on the DD-2-the world's first digital delay pedal from 1983-the DD-3 is revered for its warm, round delay tone and simple controls that let you dial in sounds fast. The DD-3T's sound circuitry and controls are identical to the DD-3, delivering every drop of that classic vibe you know and love.

A key addition the DD-3T brings is tap tempo, an essential feature for creating the rhythmic delay effects at the heart of many guitar styles. In delay mode, hold the pedal switch for two seconds to toggle between bypass and tap operation. And for on-demand tap control, simply connect an external footswitch. When the DD-3T receives tap input, up to 800 ms of delay time is available, and the Mode knob sets the tap subdivision (quarter-note triplet, dotted-eighth note, or quarter note).

The DD-3T features a direct output jack like the DD-3, but it's been moved next to the main output jack to make connections easier. Plugging a cable into the direct out converts the main out to delay only, allowing you to send wet and dry signals to different amps for wide, immersive sounds. And if your amp or switcher has a parallel effects loop, just connect a dummy plug to the direct out to mute the dry sound for effect-only blending.

The original DD-3 (and DD-2 before) included a forward-thinking Hold function, which allowed you to capture a sound up to 800 ms long, play it continuously, and jam over the top. Many years later, BOSS further developed this creative concept with the successful Loop Station products, which helped spawn the new musical style of live looping. The DD-3T includes the same Hold function as the DD-3, but it's been renamed "Short Loop" to reflect today's common usage.

Boss DD-8 Digital Delay Effects Pedal Boss DD-8 Digital Delay Effects Pedal Boss DD-8 Digital Delay Effects Pedal
Cat: 996038 Rel: 29 Feb 24

Digital delay effects pedal
Notes: Introducing the DD-8, the most wide-ranging and feature-rich BOSS compact series delay ever. This loaded pedal delivers more of everything-more great sounds, more delay time, more control options, and more connectivity. And it does it all in a standard BOSS pedal that slides easily into any mono or stereo setup. Eleven modes provide delay colours from basic to exotic, plus a looper with unlimited overdub capability and external control support. For maximum versatility in a minimum amount of space, there's no better delay stomp than the DD-8.

Equipped with a diverse selection of delays, the DD-8 packs impressive sonic range into one small pedal. Clean digital delays, vintage analogue and tape types, and modulation echo are available, plus specialty delays like shimmer and reverse. There's a new Warm type for softer echo tones, and a +RV type that blends delay and reverb together. Warp is perfect for dynamic ambient textures, while the new GLT type is great for glitchy rhythmic effects.

Everything sounds bigger and better in stereo, and the DD-8 delivers with full stereo I/O support and your choice of three output modes. The default independent mode provides linked parallel delays on the left and right channels, allowing you to maintain the true balance of stereo input sources in the effect sound. There's also a panning mode for ping-pong delay effects, and a wide stereo mode for enhanced spatial depth.

The DD-8's extensive real-time delay options help bring your music to life. You can tap in tempos with the onboard pedal switch, and control the Warp and GLT modes for unique expressive effects. Adding one or two footswitches unlocks more creative possibilities, like on-demand tap tempo, extended looper control, and a cool Twist effect for soaring echo sounds. Alternately, an expression pedal can be used for continuous control of level, feedback, or delay time-or all of them at once.

Having a looper on your pedalboard is a handy thing-it's great for practice, checking sounds at gigs, and creating on-the-fly backing while performing. The DD-8's looper mode has you covered, so you don't have to take up precious space with a dedicated pedal. All looper functions can be controlled with the onboard switch, providing all-in-one operation. But if you prefer to work with extended controls, just connect one or two footswitches to operate the looper's stop and clear functions externally.

The DD-8's inputs and outputs have smart functionality, allowing you to set the pedal for any application simply by connecting cables in different ways. A variety of mono and stereo connections are supported, including discrete dry and effect outputs for wet/dry setups. It's even possible to defeat the dry signal entirely, perfect for delay-only blending in a parallel effects loop.

Analog-Classic analogue BBD delay sound.
Standard-Clear digital delay.
Tape-Vintage tape-based delay sound.
Warm-Digital delay with a softer sound.
Reverse-Backwards delay for cool psychedelic effects and other unique tones.
+RV-Digital delay with reverb added.
Shimmer-Pitch-shifted delay for lush, shimmering textures.
Mod-Digital delay with modulation added on the repeats.
Warp-Unique delay with expressive pedal control. Holding the pedal switch increases feedback and level, allowing you to create ambient swell effects.
GLT-Newly developed delay mode that creates glitchy machine-gun effects when the pedal switch is pressed. Adjust the Feedback and Time knobs for a wide variety of sounds.
Loop-Loop recorder with overdub capability and up to 40 seconds of recording time with mono input (20 seconds with stereo input).

SynthRotek Cosmic ECHO Squared Analogue Delay Pedal SynthRotek Cosmic ECHO Squared Analogue Delay Pedal SynthRotek Cosmic ECHO Squared Analogue Delay Pedal
Cat: 778346 Rel: 28 May 21

delay pedal
Notes: Characterful analogue delay designed for live performance. Simple to use but deeply versatile, especially hooked up to an expression pedal (not included). Blast and Warp switches let you manipulate the effect in real time.

Supplier's Notes:
The Cosmic ECHO Squared is an analog lofi delay that will work with just about anything you plug into it. The dark, lush, moody tones of the ever-popular PT2399 IC provide an out-of-this-world experience. This pedal pushes the chip's limits so you can explore all the gritty elements drifting at the edge of long delay rates. It already outperforms other bucket brigade style echoes, but just to be sure, we added 2 momentary switches, Blast and Warp.

Contains PT2399 IC, a bucket brigade style emulation. This IC has 16-bit sampling for 30-300 milliseconds. After that, the sample rate goes down in relation to the delay length. This results in artifacts and noise being introduced into the audio for weird, cosmic, psychedelic sounds.

This big sister of the Cosmic ECHO is tailored to live guitar and keyboard performers. It has all the features of the original plus:

- Expression pedal input over Rate

- Blast and Warp are now momentary stomp switches

- Blast amount knob now accessible externally

distortion pedal
Notes: Synthrotek's version of the classic RAT pedal goes well beyond a clone- 3 of the MOST POPULAR mods are ON BOARD. Switching between these mods is very easy.

The "Ratatak" Rat Clone Complete Pedal gets you that classic gritty tone with a lot of options for your own! We've designed these PCBs as close to the raved-about original with the most popular boutique pedal mods on-board.

4 controls - Volume, Drive, Filter, and R-Tone - to customize your tone. Volume sets the output level, Drive lets you determine the signal gain, Filter dials in the high frequency response, and R-Tone turns up your bass frequencies from clean to fuzzy grit.

DIP Switch Diode Clipping - On-board 4PST DIP Switch selects between 4 different clipping diodes to drastically alter your sound. Turn on the stock version 1N4148s, LEDs, Germanium diodes, or none at all with flick of a little switch. Tons of tweak!

PCB is designed the original RAT tone IC, the LM308 single op amp, for the vintage tone. The updated version of the RAT line of pedals uses an inferior-sounding OP07DP op amp IC. Get the vintage tone!

Distortion pedal
Notes: The Acapulco Gold is a dirt-simple distortion Device modeled after the sound of a cranked vintage Model T amplifier, bringing the openness, clarity, and crunch that only a dimed tube amp can provide, at a fraction of the size, and without expensive maintenance costs!

Since tone is in the hands, the controls of the Acapulco Gold are as simple as possible. The footswitch turns the pedal on and off, and the giant knob controls the output volume. That's it. The rest is at your fingertips. Want less gain? Turn down your guitar's volume knob. Need a darker rhythm tone? Roll back your guitar's tone control. Easy, right?

Big Knob: The big knob sets the output level, sometimes known as Volume. PLEASE BE CAREFUL, the Acapulco Gold is extremely loud!

With your guitar's volume all the way up, the Acapulco Gold roars like a wide-open Model T on the verge of explosion. At just-barely-backed-off, the Gold becomes a raunchy overdrive. At minimum guitar volume settings, the Acapulco Gold delivers a hazy, Nashville-sounding spank to your tone.

How about this? If your guitar has separate volume and tone controls for each pickup and a three-way selector switch, this little one-knob banger becomes a three-channel tone monster at the flick of your wrist!

This device is true bypass and uses electronic relay-based switching. Audio will not pass without power.

This device can be powered by a 9v battery or a standard 9-volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel.

Cat: 781362 Rel: 19 Oct 20

Pitchshifter pedal
Notes: Exceptional pitch shifter with studio-grade algorithms, 4 octave dual voices and groundbreaking MASH footswitch.

With its mind-bending range and kaleidoscopic pitch effects, the studio-grade BRAINWAVES PITCH SHIFTER is the perfect fusion of brains and brawn.

This pink-clad pitch professor masters a variety of polyphonic effects including whammy and detune, plus a bunch of others - thanks to the dedicated TonePrint app.

The award-winning MASH footswitch packs expression pedal performance into a pedalboard-friendly size.

Pitch-shifting mode expands your sound by adding up to two extra voices and letting you decide whether these voices go above or below the original signal.

Just imagine - the solo from "Owner of a Lonely Heart" never sounded so huge.

And since BRAINWAVES is polyphonic, you can use it on your standard-tuned guitar for a wide range of rock-solid sharp or flat tunings - without detuning the actual instrument.

With separate voices pitched in either direction, the polyphonic algorithm lets you easily process pitch-shifted chords, riffs, and furious flurries of single-notes. Since each voice is adjustable from unison to two octaves up or down (and anything in between), BRAINWAVES has more range than an interstellar battle cruiser. You can quickly create custom pitch settings via the free TonePrint app to find or expand your own pitch personality.

Whammy mode packs a powerful fistful of sonic punch. With 2 individually programmable voices, you can instantly go from nice and sweet, to a 2-octave, dive bomb explosion - just by MASHing the footswitch.

Detune mode lets you widen your sound for a more open, sweet and dynamic tone. Unlike most chorus effects, detuning plays really well with complex chord voicings, even those drenched in distortion.

BRAINWAVES also nails the squeaky clean, watery '80s tones we all know and love. Or slap on some dirt and dial up a shallow detune for the secret thickening agent from Van Halen's post-1984 tone. MASH down the footswitch for an extra dose of instant detune goodness; the Mix knob lets you blend in just the right amount of effect, keeping your sound balanced - even at extreme settings!

The BRAINWAVES PITCH SHIFTER features groundbreaking new technology that brings a wide range of creative expression to the party, controlled solely by how much pressure you apply to the depressed footswitch.

Years in the making, and only available in select TC Electronic products, this clever innovation elevates the common footswitch well above rather mundane duties, such as "On" and "Off". More importantly - MASH elevates your performance to the next level.

TonePrint means signature effects - and signature effects means truly creative tones.

With optimized headroom, True Bypass or Buffered Bypass switch and Kill-Dry on/off, this pedal guarantees optimal tonal integrity and zero loss of tone. And, no matter if the pedal is on or off your precious dry sound is always passed through the pedal unharmed in all it's pure analog glory due to an Analog-Dry-Through.

Download the free TonePrint app for Android and iPhone, choose the TonePrint you want to hear and beam it instantly from your phone through your guitar's pickup into your TonePrint pedal. No cables needed!

Pre-amp booster pedal
Notes: The Arrows is an all-discrete tone sculpting preamp booster. It was designed with the intention of adding an additional channel of gain to all your dirt pedals as well as brightening up neck pickups. It boosts midrange, tightens up the low end and makes the top end shine while adding some push to drive your dirt into blooming sustain with excellent harmonics. Its simple interface is no nonsense; a single control that will either boost or cut your signal. Use the Arrows to remove the muck from bass heavy fuzz pedals, push light overdrives into higher gains than you thought possible or even on its own to make your signal really pop with more pizazz. All analog, true bypass and handmade one at a time in the weird pit of Akron, Ohio.

Fuzz tone pedal
Notes: When's the last time you turned up your favorite fuzz pedal to anything but eleven? If there's one true thing about rock n' roll, it's that it sounds best cranked all the way up. But where do we go from here? We go one louder. Enter the Erupter.

The Erupter is the result of over two years' worth of tone-chasing, tweaking, and experimentation in search of the ultimate classic fuzz tone with a big low end, a biting top end without being too harsh, and just enough output to politely send a tube amp over the top to deliver a well-rounded and defined fuzz tone with just enough pummeling intensity, so you can rock n' roll all night and still get to bed at a reasonable hour.

It's the perfect fuzz... just sayin'.

Controls:
Bias: This control has a center detent for the perfect fuzz setting. When in the center position, the tone will be big and round with a slight volume boost and great sustain. As you turn this counterclockwise it becomes more gated with lower output. As you turn this clockwise it becomes louder and more refined.

Octave up pedal
Notes: The Tentacle is a classic analog octave up effect. It is the very same octave from our beloved Hoof Reaper pedal. We got so many requests to make this a stand-alone unit that we just had to make it a reality. You can now add an excellent, swelling octave up to anything your heart desires! Pair it with your favorite fuzz, strap on a headband and unleash your inner Jammy Hendrix. Put it in front of another octave up and blow your amps mind. Throw it in the effects loop of a delay and marvel at what happens (then tell us, we'd like to know too). What's better? It has no controls! Nothing to worry about at all here, just hit the switch and go for it. The Tentacle is an analog octave up, the effect will become much more pronounced when using your neck pickup and playing above the 12th fret.

Pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies, or multiple isolated-output supplies, are always recommended. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. DO NOT RUN AT HIGHER VOLTAGES!

Dimensions: 4.75 x 2.50 x 2.00 in. (121 x 64 x 51 mm) with footswitch

KMA Machines Minos Germanium Fuzz Pedal
Cat: 782232 Rel: 31 Jul 20

Fuzz pedal
Notes: Conqueror of old lands and cursed with the unholy horned bastard son, King Minos has returned, filled with anger to deliver those ancient tones of fuzz-history!

The Minos is KMA Audio Machines' modern approach to the old-fashioned and beloved three- stage germanium fuzz sound, derived from and inspired by the legendary Tonebender MKII and the unique, but now hard-to-find Superfuzz pedals. However, much more than just mere recreations of these classics, Minos is a versatile tool for many different styles of fuzz sounds and music.

With the INPUT control, you can dial in the perfect amount of pre-gain and bass input. Turn it to the left and it gives you a gritty and crisp overdriven tone, which is perfect for garage and blues, while turning it in the other direction gives you a thick and woolly fuzz.

KMA's attempt of the 'Tonebender-ish' style of pedal has a much broader range of gain structures though. Sweep through any shades of dirty tone, from raunchy low gain distortion to thick angry fuzz.

Every combination of amp and instrument behaves differently, so to help tailor the pedal to your own rig, KMA added some additional tone-shaping controls. Tailor the bass response at the output with the three-way switch. This allows you to choose between lo-fi jangle, punchy low mid or a deep and boomy fuzz that will tear down everything! If it is all too shrill though, you can modify the high-end with the tone-cut, which tames the brightness on full gain.

The overall character of the fuzz can be changed with two internal trim-pots which set the bias of the second and third transistor. Change that bias at your own risk though, as it may unleash the wrath of the Minotaur!

KMA Machines Strokkur Treble Booster Pedal
Cat: 782243 Rel: 31 Jul 20

Treble booster pedal
Notes: Iceland, a place full of myths, miracles and fairy tales. Mighty forces are hidden underneath the barren valley of Haukadalur. A geyser so graceful, that sees you stand still in awe of the pure power of nature. Its name is Strokkur, the namesake of KMA Audio Machines' Germanium Treble-to-full-range Booster.

Strokkur is KMA Audio Machines' inspired take on the iconic Dallas Arbiter Rangemaster. Well known for its power and exploding harmonics when pushing a tube amp on the edge of breakup, this pedal has helped shape and define legendary guitar tones throughout the ages. Now with Strokkur's updated and refined feature-set, these tones are ready to rock and inspire a new generation of players.

Strokkur is equipped with hand-selected NOS AC125 Tungsram transistors in order to stay true to the power and tone of the original, all while standing out from other germanium treble boosters on the market with its additional RANGE control and its two-band EQ-Section. This allows players to perfectly sculpt their own boosted tone, so it'll suit any amp, any instrument and any style!

With its RANGE control, you can dial in anything between the classic treble booster sound to a full range boost, giving you a meaty sound with tight low-mids. The BOOST control, although not in need of much explanation, is very powerful. Set it low and simply use Strokkur as a subtle tone shaper, or begin cranking it and hear your tone shoot and soar into Rock 'N Roll heaven with its mighty 17dB of boost on tap.

KMA added a passive TREBLE and BASS control to fine-tune your sound. TREBLE tames the high frequencies and the transients (>2.4kHz) when the boost is fully cranked, which helps you to quickly find the sonic sweet spot in combination with your amp. BASS helps to prevent overloading the amp by cutting lower frequencies (<240Hz), but leaves the low- mids untouched. Works especially well with humbucker guitars.

Unlike most germanium boosters on the market, Strokkur is fitted with an internal DC converter and hence works with every regular 9V DC supply without fuss. So, plug in your guitar and feel the force of nature!

Keeley El Rey Dorado Overdrive Pedal
Cat: 782412 Rel: 04 Aug 20

Overdrive pedal
Notes: The El Rey Dorado is your go-to box for that Plexi tone. Yes, there is a wide range of 1960s Plexi Amp Tone in terms of power, which tubes are installed, which speakers and/or cabinet is used, but the El Rey Dorado hits the core tone bullseye! One of the many reference points for the tone was the JTM 45/100r full stack. (It's a dead-on reissue Marshallr did with crazy cool custom-made vintage-recreation speakers and dual transformers to transfer the load of the 4 EL-84s!)

The El Rey covers a lot of classic British amp tones by featuring two gain modes with the Power Toggle. With the Power Toggle switch you have control over the compression and harmonics. Low Power mode is louder, has more girth, and has fewer harmonics for a more old-school tone. The High Power mode has more compression, more harmonics, and a tighter, more defined tone. Old-school crunch in Low Power mode, super lead tones in the High Power mode.

Simple as grabbing an open E Chord!

Keeley Engineered: Yes

Ripe Tide Gain: Yes

Keeley Fuzz Bender Fuzz Pedal With Active EQ And Gate Controls
Cat: 782420 Rel: 04 Aug 20

Fuzz pedal
Notes: The Keeley Fuzz Bender is a 5 knob-3 transistor modern fuzz using a combination of high-gain silicon and silky smooth germanium. What makes fuzz better? Active EQ. Using two gyrators as an active EQ gives you the ability to create massive fuzz tones not possible with typical square-wave boxes. Pummel your amp with over 20dB of boost/cut at 100Hz and 10K Hz. The Fuzz Bender is built around vintage Japanese germanium to create its monumental fuzz tones. With the all new Bias Control, you control the attack and decay of your notes. Anything from Fat Square Waves to Angular Fuzz to glitchy-Velcro attacks are possible with the Bias Control. The Fuzz Bender's five knobs confirm size matters when creating a new and epic world of fuzz.

Keeley Magnetic Echo Delay Vintage "Tape Echo" Style Delay Pedal
Cat: 782430 Rel: 18 Aug 20

Delay pedal
Notes: The Mag-Echo pedal simulates tube tape echo sounds by using the delay circuit and a little bit of modulation. Tape echos have long been regarded as a warm and very guitar friendly form of delay. The Mag-Echo achieves similar results by using a touch of Lo-Fi delay, a slightly filtered echo response to keep things warm, and some modulation. Modulation, or "Wow and Flutter" in the tape world is a slight pitch shift or wavering that occurs as the tape is pulled across the heads. The modulation used is similar to what is uses in Keeley's Seafoam Chorus, a slight wavering of pitch on the trails of the repeats. With a simple set of controls for the delay Time, Regen, and Level and with the "Wow and Flutter" controls - Depth and Rate you can create some very vintage or rather unique tones.

Delay Time - This Time control roughly sets the length between your repeats between 40ms and 600ms. This range is well suited for classic, vintage delay sounds that are great for slap-back or medium length delay times.

Regen - This control sets the number of repeats. You can set this for a single slap back echo or turn it up for a runaway, self-oscillating or self-regenerating echoes. (Now go back and twist the Time control for some crazy sounds!)

Delay Level - The Level control is your mix, how loud you want to hear the echoes.

WOW AND FLUTTER CONTROLS

Depth - Turn this control to achieve deeper and deeper chorusing and pitch shifting on your echoes. As you raise the control the Depth and Rate LED will start to glow giving you a visual indication as to the amount of modulation you are applying to the repeats.

Rate - This is your Flutter control. It's another way to control how poorly your tape echo is performing! Not that any tape deck was every in this bad of condition, but it sure sounds good to have a little pitch modulation on your echo! Using these controls gives you a nice way to create unique and very musical delays.

Whether you're into Rockabilly slap-back echoes, experimental sounds, or just want a great classic rock sounding echo, the Magnetic Echo will sound great in your rig.

Keeley Electronics started to develop and produce this delay way back in 2005. But as things happened, we worked on other projects, always keeping an eye on the growing delay and echo market. We sure you will be very happy with the tone of this echo/delay/modulation effect.

It's pretty clear from this unbiased shoot-out that the Magnetic Echo wins. The delays sound more like the original and not as filtered and cut off. The modulation is more sophisticated. Price point is the same!

Keeley Super Phat Mod Full Range Transparent Overdrive Pedal
Cat: 782451 Rel: 04 Aug 20

Overdrive pedal
Notes: Many say the Phat Mod delivers their favorite tone from a pedal. It's that natural break-up that just feels good and lets you express yourself. The dynamics make it feel alive and part of your fingers. That's the reason the modified pedal has stayed on people's boards for nearly 15 years. The Keeley Super Phat Mod is the famous mod now perfected with amazing sounding JFETs that emulate old tube amps in a unique way.

The original pedal was a great design that features tube-like amp stages, tube amp tone stacks, and a variety of tone shaping circuits to bring out the best in any guitar's pickups. The problem with building one in the past has been the difficulty finding the perfect FET to capture the magic. If the harmonic content and grain of the distortion and overdrive weren't exactly right, it was put to one side- then Keeley found the magic device that pushed it over the top, and it was dressed in gold and royal purple. The name badge had to speak of its history and heritage. With Super Phat Mod in an old, Blackface-style logo and the metal-flake clear-sparkle on gold, it will look incredible in any rig.

The Super Phat Mod pedal now has incredible dynamics. It is full range and very responsive. The phrase "transparent overdrive" was born of this design! From country pickin', to blues and rock wailing, the Phat Mod is the choice for those not wanting the over-refined sound of a common Screamer. Set the gain high and let your guitar's volume control or your pick attack do the work. With the Super Phat Mod, you now have all of the refinements-the very best of tone-shaping electronics and modern features like true-bypass.

The Keeley BD-2 was the first mod that had a switch. It was done to give players two modes of bass response. With the slight boost, it was called the Phat mode. It was perfect for players of Strats and Teles who wanted just a small push without being muddy. That same design is also available via the micro toggle on the Super Phat Mod. Later on Keeley released the Luna Overdrive which won a Gear of the Year award in England, and that pedal had further refinements made to it and became the Katana Blue Drive. The Katana Blues Drive still retained the active bass and treble controls but smoothed out the highs and increased the gain range slightly. That was an original design designed to meet many of the tonal characteristics of the Blues Driver. The new Super Phat Mod takes off by duplicating the Keeley Phat Mod part-for-part with the exception of the new super JFETs.

Fulltone 2B Clean Boost With Germanium Limiter Pedal Fulltone 2B Clean Boost With Germanium Limiter Pedal Fulltone 2B Clean Boost With Germanium Limiter Pedal Fulltone 2B Clean Boost With Germanium Limiter Pedal Fulltone 2B Clean Boost With Germanium Limiter Pedal
Cat: 782489 Rel: 30 Oct 20

Boost pedal
Notes: The Fulltone 2B is a tiny, transparent, and amazing boost pedal, born from the "Boost" channel in Fulltone's FD3 pedal.

Why does a guitarist need a "Boost" pedal?

A boost pedal is not only used to kick up your volume when it's time for your solo! A good booster can also solve a lot of problems in the modern guitarist's rig, because today's pedalboards average 8 or more pedals, with each of those pedals requiring: a guitar cable--->jack--->more wire--->footswitch--->circuit--->footswitch again--->jack--->more wire--> and on to next pedal. It's a wonder there's any signal left after all the stuff we put our signal through. Ever played through a 10' guitar cable straight into a great tube amplifier? The feel, the dynamics, the fat tone...makes you want to play! Then you connect to your overpopulated pedalboard and suddenly the sound is tiny, thin, with diminished lows, cardboard mids, and scratchy thin highs. This is where a good booster comes in handy, because all that wire and all those connections reduce your signal by a measurable amount with each passing effect in your signal chain. Add a good booster and you can recoup a lot of that lost gain, tone, and reactive interplay between you and your lovely tube amp. Suddenly the "touch" is back.

What happens when the 2B is turned OFF?

That's the problem with other boosters...once they're OFF, they cease to offer a high quality unity-gain buffer to drive the long cables, so you end up having to buy TWO boosters, one set to "unity gain" and the other set to do your Volume changes! A better solution is the 2B, its unity-gain JFET amp buffers your signal when the pedal is turned OFF...and when the 2B is turned ON; the only difference is now the GAIN knob comes into play allowing you to set the desired boost up to 20dB!

Why is the 2B a great booster?

The problem with other boosters is that the more you turn them up, the more highs they add. Not the case with the 2B, there is a subtle roll-off of the harsh ultra-high frequencies as you roll the LEVEL knob clockwise past 12 o'clock. It's subtle, you may not hear it, but you WON'T hear that shrill top end that other boosters can impart!

What's the DYNAMICS knob?

The 2B offers something completely unique in the world of Boost pedals; a DYNAMICS knob. A subtle Germanium diode Limiter circuit that (as you turn the mini-knob clockwise) starts to slightly alter the feel of the notes being played as well as subdue the harsh transient spikes which can overload your amp's input. Those spikes can be fatiguing to your ears, to the amp, and to its speakers! Similar to using a limiter on the mix down of a song in the studio, the 2B's DYNAMICS feature helps you keep your place in the live mix.....like a very smart compressor. This feature can make even an "ok" amp feel responsive and juicy, and will keep you from distorting the amp's input, a problem plaguing most booster pedals.

Input Impedance: ultra-high 1.65mega ohms...Not a chance of any interaction issues with guitars or other effects

Fulltone 70 70's Classic Fuzz With Matched BC108C Silicon Transistors Pedal
Notes: Ever played an original FuzzFace from around 1970? (HINT: Not AT ALL the same sound as ones with the same namesake being mass-produced currently.) Fuzztone's has two intentionally mismatched (for harmonic content) silicon transistors that snarl and spit... not for the meek! If you put the "Fuzz" on 10 you will rip, and you might get all sorts of oscillation and weirdness... but that's Rock. Don't try using it with a wah wah... you can't, and neither could Jimi, without it screaming and howling. You want polite and quiet? Go elsewhere. You want art in a box? Come on in.

Housed in a 16 gauge steel box and powder coated deep blue, this pedal is a bit unruly but with some warmth... ideal for older 4 input Marshall amps, it has much more FUZZ than the '69 Pedal and includes a Mid control for extra clarity and cut.

Fulltone Full-Drive 1	Overdrive Pedal
Cat: 782522 Rel: 16 Sep 20

Overdrive pedal
Notes: Yes it's true, finally the sound of a late 90s to early 2000s Fulldrive with-OUT the boost channel! Simple as it comes... with Volume, Tone, Drive, and toggle bringing back the Flat-Mids (FM), Vintage, and the infamous (for assaulting the front end of tube amps) Comp-Cut (CC) modes. Simple True-Bypass switching, 9-18 volt operation. No need to find and pay $400-$600 for a 90's FD2 anymore.

Soundwise, this is based on the exact (full midrange) Comp-Cut that was in the earliest FD2s, not the Flatter mids CC in later models. So even though the FD-1 will have the Flat-Mids mode, the Comp-Cut is the fuller-mids version identical to the "pre FM/pre-MOSFET" versions of the FD2. This tiny pedal is the size of Fulltone's Mas-Malo, with top-mounted (also called rear mounted) jacks & power port, and a JRC4558 chip for your go-to overdrive sound. Come home.

size: 4.8" x 2.9" x 2.35"
