Sound possibilities The HA-S has a special NFB (Negative Feedback) switch, that allows you to choose from a high fidelity clean and pristine sound, or a warmer, more harmonically rich sound as expected from a vacuum tube. When the NFB switch is OFF, the harmonics present in the Nutube (triode tube) will be amplified to create a sound rich in harmonics, warmth and textures. When the NFB switch is ON, the distortion ratio and frequency characteristics will be modified, creating a really detailed and clean sound. For further sound modification, we have included two OP amp options for the output: the premium audio oriented "MUSES01" and the industry standard NJM4580, both from JRC. These can be easily replaced so even the most purist audiophiles will be able to customize and adapt the sound of their HA-S to heir heart's content. Notes: Really clever noise-based oscillator from AJH. Drones, sweeps and bleeps aplenty, ranging from tamed to out-of-control filth. Also doubles up as a more conventional ring mod and distortion module.

Supplier's notes:
This 14HP wide module is a voltage controlled noise based oscillator, or noisillator for short. It generates 1/f noise and this is then sent through a feedback loop which allows the noise to be "tuned" to varying degrees depending on the settings of the frequency and resonance controls, or incoming frequency or resonance CV's. The tuned circuit can be FM modulated too, for some thunderous sweeping sounds. We have bright and dark outputs, which are pre and post filter respectively. The Bright output will always have a degree of noise present in the signal, whereas the Dark output can be tuned noise only when 4 pole resonance is selected. We also have an external Sync input, which will reset the resonant waveform, and we also have an Audio input, so that an external signal can be mixed into the resonant loop. Combinations of external waveforms to these two inputs can create some massive drone sounds, or sweeping sync sounds.

There is also an XOR ring modulator, which can be used as a module in its own right too. Lastly, we have an XOR amplifier, which is another independant circuit that can be used to add noise and distortion to any audio signal.

Notes: deton8 is a hybrid sampler/drum synthesizer using a mix of crunchy 8BIT samples and wavetable synthesis. and a plethora of real time fx and tricks.

Erica Synths Graphic VCO allows you to draw your own waveforms, arrange them in wavetables and wavetable banks, morph between two selected waves and alter the resulting wave in advanced ways (FXes) - apply FM, phase distortion, ring modulation, wavefold/wavewrap, bitcrush.

Waves, wavetables, FXes and other settings can be saved and recalled from the memory instantly. The module has two outputs - the main output and the output with configurable suboscillator.

The sound is clean, modern, punchy and detailed thanks to the unit running at 96kHz - quite different to some low bit-rate wavetable oscillators on the market. Wavetable interpolation is smooth as butter and with the built-in effects you can dirty things up in many different ways. The module scores highly on the sound front. The Graphic VCO is a very capable oscillator module with excellent sound quality and a lot of features that could make it the right choice, especially if live performance is your thing. - Sound On Sound
The bottom line is that the Graphic VCO is a joy to use. It's a module that's unashamedly digital, yet unmistakably eurorack. I think Erica showed a great deal of careful judgement and restraint in the design of this module. It would have been easy to have made it bloated and cumbersome trying to cram as many features as possible into it, but they kept it fairly simple which keeps the module fun and immediate in use. It's capable of a huge tonal palette ranging from beautiful to brutal that is bound to fit in with a lot of different styles and systems. - Ask Audio

Some of the key features:

Three primary modes: VOLTAGES, NOTES and COMBO.

VOLTAGES mode:

Up to 16 voltage storage locations (grid) with 8 voltages stored at each location.

You have the choice to record and playback your recall of these locations in a looper style (just play freely and spend arbitrary amount of time at any location) or as a clocked sequence (SH-101 style). Additionally you can traverse the matrix using the X and Y CV inputs to get Cartesian style sequencing.

There is also variable slew that allows you to morph/glide between the values.

NOTES mode:

You can create sequences or loops in chord, scales or keyboard mode. The isomorphic keyboard grid can vary from 4 notes to 12 notes max. There are real-time performance looping, transposition and inversion capabilities via the CV inputs and dedicated loop button. In sequencer mode each step can be a tie, rest, or gate with size 25/50/75%. Basically we have created a way to very quickly and intuitively make chord sequences that are very musical and easy to manipulate. It is difficult to summarize in words but we will be sure to create some videos to demonstrate how easy and fun this is to play with. It definitely represents something unique in the landscape of Eurorack sequencers.

COMBO mode:

In this mode you can loop record your performance on any combination of the following functions:

fader, bipolar fader, drum hit, switch or LFO. Kind of like Elektron style parameter locking but all of the motions is recorded continuously instead of just in slices. Instantly turn a simple patch into a highly animated and complex beast.

With all of the above mentioned loop recording modes you can very easily overdub since the Tetrapad detects pressure/pressing. In combo mode you can erase individual channels.

All modes allow for internal or external clocking and configurable syncing.

All of the modes have special XYZ CV modulation assignments and make use of the dedicated CV outputs.

For example, in Looper mode one of the CV outputs generates a continuous ramp that represents the position in the loop. This can be used with devices like the Planar 2 in Interpolation mode to sync the recorded patterns together no matter what tempo.

Notes: The Ar Merc'het Brao module is comprised of two filters and two overdrives.

As usual at Touellskouarn it has a Breton name: Ar Merc'het Brao means "The pretty girls".

It can be used with a stereo signal or with two mono signals. The module is modular as well as guitar friendly.

The filters are resonant with a slope of -12dB. A switch allows to switch each filter from LowPass to HighPass. The filter cut-offs are voltage controlled thanks to dedicated CV inputs. Additionally, the Ar Merc'het Brao features global controls for cut-off and resonance.

Both overdrive sections offer the classic and well known TouellSkouarn distortion sound.

Notes: The BF-22 VCF is a dual Hi/Low-pass filter inspired by the Sallen-Key filter from the early MS-20.

DISCLAIMER: This filter brings to your modular system the character of early MS-20 sound: Kick-ass-rocking-dirty screams! It inherited not only it's amazing sound, also MS-20 noise floor. If noise floor is an issue for you, this might not be your filter.

Notes: Crush Delay v3 is a special Echo-Delay unit based on the PT2399 IC, which is able to offer 400ms of clean delay and up to 2 seconds of dirty repetitions, having a special talent to generate noisy-glitch textures. The module bases its operation on controlling the PT2399 chip with circuit bending techniques, converting the unit in an advanced VC digital trash generator. This third version comes with some interesting new features like redesigned VCAs circuits, wider range for clean delay and reduced depth to make it skiff friendly.

The module features a few VCAs to provide a flexible signal route to maximize module's possibilities. First two VCAs at the inputs to control the amount of signal sent to the delay. The first is routed to both the dry/wet mix and the delay, and the second directly to the delay. Combining the second VCA and the FX Send output allows external feedback routings.

Compared with v2, this third version offers a bigger range of clean delay time as well as a revision of some of the Crush modifiers. Combining those modifiers you will have a access to a vast palette of noises and textures that can be used in many different ways. From ambient/drone patches to even percussion sounds.

The VC Feedback features an automatic gain control to keep levels stable at any feedback level.

Notes: The S-Com 4 is a compact and versatile single-rack space device that provides four channels of high-quality dynamic processing with an Expander/Gate and Compressor/Limiter on each channel.

The four channels operate independently or in stereo pairs. Its multi-segment LED metering displays input/output level as well as gain reduction. The Expander/Gate section features a continuously variable Threshold control, as well as a switch for fast or slow release times. The Compressor/Limiter section includes variable Threshold, Ratio and Output levels. S-Com 4's Enhancer switch restores high frequencies that are sometimes diminished by heavy compression.

This wide-ranging combination of features makes the S-Com 4 an efficient and versatile audio tool for a wide variety of applications. Its clean and quiet audio characteristics make it ideal where high sonic integrity is imperative.

Notes: Goldring D22GX stylus is designed to fit the current Goldring 1022GX phono cartridge or old model 1020 or 1022, a direct replacement when your stylus is worn - saving the cost of buying a whole new cartridge. Goldring cartridges generally last many hours until the stylus needs replacing. An indication of wear is a "duller" sound.

Simply remove your current stylus by carefully pulling it away from the cartridge and replace it with the replacement.

The 1022GX record cartridge is recommended for the discerning listener. The diamond stylus is a Vital PH type, which provides increased resolution and ensures the maximum accuracy of musical reproduction.

Notes: The Allen & Heath ZED-10 mixer is an amazing little desk for small band mixing. It is ultra portable for carrying to the gig, and can be used for recording live or in the studio. It comes with configurable USB audio input/output making it easy to capture stereo recordings.

Guitars can be plugged in directly to the mixer using the specially designed high-impedance inputs, while the mixer has two stereo inputs for MP3/CD players or keyboards.

ZED-10 features a responsive 3-band, swept mid frequency EQ design which utilises MusiQ - with optimised slope (or Q factor) for equalising individual instruments.

ZED-10's pre-amps are similar in design to our MixWizard range of mixers, but with a twist! Inputs 3 & 4 have a high impedance jack input capable of taking either a normal line level or a low level input from a guitar pickup. These newly designed inputs have been crafted with the aim of replicating the sound of a classic guitar or instrument tube pre-amp in a combo or head amp. An extremely high input impedance ensures loading on pick-ups is minimal and a Class A FET (field effect transistor) circuit powered from 48V is employed to give the valve-like gain stage. There is a gain "Boost" switch associated with the guitar inputs which boosts gain by 26dB to cater for instruments with very low level outputs and the overdrive characteristics of the guitar inputs are very similar to a valve (tube) circuit, being asymmetric and soft. Notes: The Polaris is a 4-stage cascaded OTA filter designed by David Dixon. It builds on the lineage of the Dr. Octature and Atlantis filters, but with a totally revised core and resonance control. The step sequencer of the monologue has been significantly enhanced to deliver musical, complex rhythms that are easy to capture, see, and edit. It supports both real-time recording with overdubbing capability as well as step recording that lets you record simply by pressing keys in the desired order, and you can also use the 16 physical buttons for quick editing or for improvisatory performance. The motion sequence function lets you record up to four knob movements to apply time-varying change to the sound, and allows you to record not only continuously changing values as on previous models, but also values with step-wise variation. Notes: Kamieniec is an analog signal processing module directly inspired by a range of classic phaser effect units from 1970s that helped to define entire musical genres. Most of these classic devices contained a fairly small number of phase shifting stages, but made up for that lack with tons of character! However, what was initially intended for guitars is not necessarily sufficient for synthesizers. Therefore, the intention is to preserve the classic sound as it's transported it to a new tonal space while prioritizing flexible modular usability.

Just like many of the famous OTA-based phasers of the 1970s, Kamieniec sports four tuneable stages. However, there are two additional fixed stages included so as to increase the number of notches, and ultimately offer two versions of the mixed signal (that may be used as a stereo pair) at the two outputs of the unit. While the general topology is similar to a certain very classic phaser pedal, the circuitry has been redesigned with modern components and low noise op-amps to bring down the noise floor, improve the bandwidth, and offer a wider range of tuning. The feedback control can be set extremely deep, which results in a very high resonance that is capable of self-oscillation. This produces a unique sound otherwise unreachable for typical phasers, which can vary from subtle and creamy to utterly brutal and grinding. On top of that we've included switchable feedback paths, individual stage group outputs, CV inputs, built-in LFO, and daisy chaining ability to provide a comprehensive integration with a modular synthesizer system.

Expandability:
Unlike any other phaser module, multiple Kamieniec units can be chained together to achieve a more radical response with many notches. The general idea of chaining is to pass along the phase shifted signal to subsequent units before it is mixed with the original version in the last unit of the chain. This approach has a very different effect than plain cascading (connecting multiple phaser units in series), because a long chain of allpass sections yields a dense and uniform pattern of multiple notches, exactly like in a long phaser.

Notes: TouellSkouarn Strakal Brulu is a handmade distortion and fuzz module. The great sound is due to the new-old-stock east-German germanium transistors.

Very characteristic for the module's sound if the feedback that is coupled to the feedback. The more fuzz, the more feedback - the Strakal Brulu 2 can get pretty nasty and it screams a lot at high fuzz settings and low input level. The fuzz amount can be voltage controlled, with an inverse attenuator. Input and output levels can also be set separately.

Notes: Tetrapad is a versatile, multi-dimensional, touch-sensitive control surface for Eurorack. Each of its four pads use force sensing resistors to respond to both the vertical position of your finger and its pressure. Four push encoders and a shift function give you even more tactile control over your modular system.

Notes: Steppy is a 4-track programmable gate sequencer with eight internal memory slots, external clocking, numerous tweakable parameters, and a performance-first design aesthetic.

Each track features numerous independent parameters that govern its playback independently of the other tracks. Specifically:

- Each track has its own length, which can range from 1-step to 64-steps, allowing for polyrhythms, fills, or constantly evolving gate interactions between tracks.
- Each track has its own gate length, which ranges from very short to very long, with tied gates possible at the extreme setting.
- Each track has its own clock divider, allowing patterns to play out over completely different periods of time.
- Each track has its own swing setting, which offsets the timing of every other step.
- Each track has its own delay setting, which offsets the timing of every step.
- Each track has its own probability control, which sets the likelihood that each programmed gate will fire when called upon by the pattern.
- Each track can be shifted (or 'rotated') forward or backward by a number of steps. So if you've created a pattern that 'feels' like it has its downbeat on step 3, you can shift that pattern two steps to the left, so that the downbeat sits on step 1.

Tracks can be programmed by entering active steps on the grid or tapped in live as the sequence is moving. Tracks can be selected and modified in real time as the sequence plays. A select button allows you to directly access each track (and each page of 16 steps within that track) directly through Steppy's intuitive multifunction buttons array.

Tracks can be individually muted and unmuted, and a special performance mode (called "Loopy") enables you to touch any two gate steps and instantly create a performance that loops between those steps.

Track patterns can be cleared without clearing its playback parameters, and all track patterns (along with their individual playback and performance parameters) can be saved as a preset to one of eight internal memory slots.

Notes: Welcome to the DROID X7 expander. The X7 gives you USB and MIDI connectivity for your master and also four gate outputs with modular levels.

You can process incoming and generate outgoing MIDI streams, both via classical DIN cables and via USB. Both the in and the out direction support polyphony with eight or even more voices in parallel.

For size reasons the X7 uses 3.5 mm TRS jacks for MIDI instead of the classical DIN jacks. But it comes with two DIN to TRS adapters, so you are free to use either form factor.

Phase offset is continuously variable from 0 to 360° and inverts the waveform without changing it’s amplitude, and with or without changing it's polarity.

Unipolar mode preserves the output range by offsetting the starting voltage, so it always stays between 0 and +10v

Bipolar mode preserves the starting voltage by offsetting the output range, so it always starts at 0v. The output range will shift from +unipolar, through +bipolar, to -unipolar, through -bipolar back to +unipolar.

The reference waveform does not change phase, but the timing of the rate change between Attack and Decay shift with the phase offset, to ensure synchronous movement.

Notes: Echolution 3 is a multi-tap stereo modulation delay offering a myriad of sound design options including reverse, jump, pong, modulation tempo sync, variable low pass filter, flexible signal routing and comprehensive MIDI control. Delay times ranging from 100ms to 5 seconds can be dialed in using the Time knob or via Tap Tempo using the left footswitch. A second delay tap can be set to the same length or a fraction of the main delay time to create rhythmic echoes. The ¾ fraction creates a dotted eight note delay, while the Golden fraction uses the sacred geometry of the Golden Ratio (.382) as the multiplier for the second tap. The multi-tap settings can be even further enhanced by the stereo ping pong effect, which causes the different delay taps to switch sides on each repeat. Store up to 4 presets, unlock hidden features with the Universal Remote footswitch, and design yet unheard delay lines. Runs on standard 9VDC.

KNOB-BY-KNOB
Time: Sets the length of the delay line. Overrides tap tempo and vice versa. Select sub-divisions with the small push button. Can activate any two sub-divisions at once.

Mix: Sets the volume level of the delay signal.

Repeats: Sets the amount of regeneration in the delay line.

Mod: Select and set the modulation Speed, Depth, and Tone. Hold push button to sync Speed to tap tempo.

Preset Select: Push to toggle through presets, press and hold to select. To save a preset after making changes, press and hold. Presets can be toggled and selected using only footswitches (see manual).

Special FX: Reverse makes the delay line go backwards. Jump makes the delay line jump up one octave. Pong (activated with a push and hold) causes echoes to alternate between the left and right channels, meant to be used in stereo.
