Zlob Modular SVF 2-Pole 12DB State Variable Filter Module Zlob Modular SVF 2-Pole 12DB State Variable Filter Module
Zlob Modular SVF 2-Pole 12DB State Variable Filter Module (2-pole 12DB state variable filter synth module)
Cat: 793163 Rel: 10 Nov 20

State variable filter module
Notes: The SVF is a 4hp 2 pole 12dB State Variable Filter Eurorack Module available as a Eurorack DIY Kit, PCB and Panel, or Built Module.

It provides Low Pass, Band Pass, and High Pass outs inspired by WASP and Thomas Henry filter topologies. The filter has 2 audio inputs, but channel 2 is jumper selectable between standard audio in or Ping-able operation. The 2019 revision also adds improved cutoff and resonance response and attenuversion through the ACV IN using the above pot. CV IN provides another unattenuated voltage input to modulate the frequency.

At the CV in, +10v will open the filter completely if the cutoff pot is CCW(counter clockwise). With the cutoff knob at noon the filter can be opened with +5v or closed with -5v. CV input at the ACV in is dependent on the CV attenuverter knob.

There are also several jumper selectable modes for max resonance, self oscillation or no oscillation based on the setting of the resonance pot. According to the jumper configuration, the filter is capable of clinical and clean, to juicy and drippy, to low pass gate sounding plonks, to screaming chaotic resonance. When set to self oscillation mode, the filter can produce a sine like wave with no input and a trapezoid like wave in the max resonance jumper setting. In max resonance mode, the filter output can exceed 10Vpp. On the newest version, there is a trimmer on the top pcb to set the lowest cutoff frequency.

The new black and white pcb/panel is reversible meaning, one side is classic (first picture) and the other side is soulless (second picture).

Xaoc Devices Erfurt 1989 Binary Phase Akkumulator Module
Xaoc Devices Erfurt 1989 Binary Phase Akkumulator Module (clock generator/digital/expander/frequency divider/oscillator synth module)
Cat: 846596 Rel: 27 Apr 22

A digital module that may be used as an 8-output clock and audio frequency divider, a bi-directional binary counter, or a component of the Leibniz binary system.
Notes: Creatively inspiring business from Xaoc as usual. The Erfurt is a digital phase accumulator, digital oscillator, binary counter or clock/audio frequency divider. Versatile stuff.

Supplier's Notes:
Xaoc Devices Erfurt is a digital module that may be used as an 8-output clock and audio frequency divider, a bi-directional binary counter, or a component of the Leibniz binary system, i.e. a programmable digital oscillator.

Erfurt features an 8-bit register which holds its current state: an 8-bit number representing digital values from 0 to 255. The state is available at the front panel via eight binary (5V gate) outputs and reflected by the 8 status LEDs. There are three clock inputs: one incrementing the state at each impulse, one decrementing, and one resetting the state to zero. The state may also be changed manually with two buttons.

When operating alone, the state of Erfurt changes by 1 at each impulse from the clock inputs, so that it counts from 0 to 255 in a cycle (modulo 256). This yields the signal frequency divided by 2, 4, 8, etc. up to 128, available at individual bit outputs. Depending on which clock input is used, the clock patterns correspond to the so called mathematical or musical divisions of the rhythm.

With two different clocks patched to the inputs, the counter alternately increases and decreases its state, and ultimately it counts with a rate proportional to the frequency difference between the clocks. A third clock patched to the Reset input may be used to shorten the sequence thus making the cycle incomplete for even more rhythmic diversity.

When there is a Leibniz data source connected at the back (even as simple as Lipsk), the state increases or decreases in larger steps, depending on the data present at the Leibniz bus (eg. the value programmed by the Lipsk buttons). The counter overflows quicker, and produces more complex patterns.

The state of the counter may be used as a phase input to a digital wave table. Connected to other Leibniz modules, Erfurt may play various roles, eg. it may scan waveshapes in Jena, produce stepped voltages useful for making interesting glissandi with Drezno and any VCO, generate gate patterns animating the spectrum of Odessa harmonic banks, spawn pseudo-chaotic sequences when fed back to Lipsk, etc. Since Erfurt is based on CMOS logic (no CPU!), it can be clocked at very high frequencies (exceeding audio rate), therefore some selection switches are provided for clock pre-scaling.

Xaoc Devices Lipsk 1989 Bit Inversion Commander Drezno Expander Module
Cat: 652121 Rel: 30 May 17

Expander module designed to complement Drezno - 6HP
Notes: Lipsk facilitates the inversion of the individual bits produced by Drezno (or any other module connected to its input header at the back), and delivers the resulting code to its output header. Bit inversion can be manually controlled by pressing any of combination of its eight illuminated buttons, or it can be automated by patching gate signals into its gate input sockets. An active (5V) gate flips the state of the respective bit. If the button is active (bit already flipped), then the gate flips the bit again yielding double inversion (no inversion). The corresponding LEDs show the combined effect of both manual and gate actions. The bit processing logic is hardware-based, so there is virtually no latency, allowing the binary signals to be manipulated at extreme rates.

Xaoc Devices Gera 1989 Binary Product Kommander Module
Cat: 910516 Rel: 21 Nov 22

1989 Binary Product Kommander
Notes: Gera is a component of the Leibniz subsystem that allows masking individual bits of the digital data by the use of logical AND operation.

It features 8 individual gate inputs that affect the individual bits of data, as well as 8 illuminated tact switches for manual inverting of each control input. When connected to Drezno that is processing a waveform or voltage, masking of individual bits yields various forms of quantization. However, Gera can function on its own. The AND operation is a basic building block for sequence automation, chaos and rhythm generation, and various computer-like modular patches.

Bit processing logic in Gera is hardware based, hence there is virtually no latency, and the binary signals may change at extreme rates.

Main features:

Logical AND operation on Leibniz data
Masking of individual bits controlled manually and by gate signals
Visual indication by illuminated buttons

Xaoc Devices Tallin 1956 Dual Discrete Core VC Amp Module (B-STOCK)
Cat: 1000462 Rel: 01 Jan 90

B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.
Notes: ***B-STOCK: Item refurbished, repaired and in perfect working order.***

Tallin is a dual voltage controlled amplifier (VCA) with overdrive, offering some unusual control features and a range of attractive tonal characteristics. Each of the two identical channels offers two simultaneously available inputs for voltage control over signal attenuation or gain, with linear and exponential response to CV. Volume control knobs offer manual gain settings ranging from fully closed (-80dB) up to +18dB. A colour LED indicator displays output signal levels. A soft-clip circuit avoids harsh clipping distortion, while a switchable overdrive circuit offers two carefully crafted distortion responses, simulating the sound of classic tube amplifiers.

Since both CV inputs are simultaneously active, they can be jointly exploited within patches featuring more complex volume control that otherwise would require using two traditional VCAs in series. As the signal path is DC-coupled, Tallin can also be used for handling the control voltages.

Wavefonix 3340 Low-Frequency Oscillator Module
Cat: 796483 Rel: 16 Nov 20

Low-frequency oscillator module
Notes: Wavefonix's 3340 Low-Frequency Oscillator (LFO) utilises the original CEM3340 (Rev. G) architecture, similarly to the 3340 VCO.

It is a voltage-controlled LFO featuring three simultaneous, buffered 10Vpp (i5V) waveforms including DC-coupled ramp, triangle and pulse outputs.

The pulse output has a controllable PW, along with a PWM CV input (i5V range). The PW can be varied manually between 50% and 100% duty cycle with the PW knob on the front panel. When a PWM CV source is input, the PW is normalled to 50% and the CV level is attenuated using the PW knob.

Other features include a controllable FM input that is also calibrated to 1V/octave when the FM knob is fully-clockwise. So the LFO can also be used as a limited VCO. A comparator-based reversing type sync input also allows the LFO to be synced to another LFO or VCO etc.

The overall frequency range of the LFO is approximately 0.03Hz to 4.5kHz. Coarse and fine frequency knobs provide a maximum frequency adjustment range of approximately 0.03Hz to 1kHZ (this range is adjustable using a trimmer on the PCB).

Buffered multiple module
Notes: This module is a premium, buffered version of our passive 4x4 multiple, featuring four groups of buffered multiples; each group having one input and three outputs.

Buffered multiples are useful for multiplying pitch sensitive CV signals, such as 1V/octave CVs from a keyboard or MIDI to CV converter, although they can also be used for multiplying CV signals from other sources, such as LFOs etc.

Passive multiples are not particularly suitable for use with pitch sensitive CVs, as they often result in a loss of tuning. Buffered multiples ensure that any loss in pitch is negligible.

Vermona tVCF-Extension TwinVCFilter Extension Module (black)
Vermona tVCF-Extension TwinVCFilter Extension Module (black) (filter/polariser/utility synth module)
Cat: 662843 Rel: 18 Sep 17

TwinVCFilter extension module with individual filter outputs for each channel - 10HP
Notes: twinVCFilter is a versatile filter module itself. But there are times when you need some additional features like a notch-filter. In this case tVCF-Extension is your friend.

Individual Filter Outputs:

tVCF-Extension has got individual outputs for each filter type of twinVCFilter's filter-sections and even adds notch outputs. You can use all outputs at the same time.

Polarizers:

As you might know, twinVCFilter already has two CV-inputs per filter section. We thought that might not be enough for complex patches, so tVCF-Extension has additional CV-inputs to modulate the cutoff-frequencies. Each with a dedicated polarizer for attenuating and inverting incoming voltages.
With these you will get new modulation possibilities like controlling both cutoff-frequencies at the same time in parallel or contrary.

To get even more out of the module you can separate the polarizer section from the cutoff-frequencies and use them independently of twinVCFilter. They also can generate a voltage on their own.

tVCF-Extension is an elegant and even slim way to extend the vast possibilities of twinVCFilter.

Vermona Amplinuator 3 Attenuator/Amplifier/Audio & CV Mixer Module
Cat: 745106 Rel: 06 Sep 19

Attenuator, amplifier, audio & CV mixer module - 10HP
Notes: Neat amp/mixer/attenuator utility module from Vermona. Not much more to say about this one. It makes things louder and quieter or blends them together. What more do you want?

Supplier notes:
Regardless of your modular system's size, the number of installed modules or its purpose, it's basically only about one thing: level adjustments. Often, the full level of a signal is too much and has to be attenuated. Also, the opposite - levels must be amplified - happens more often than you might think.

AMPLINUATOR 3 connects both functions in a unique and smart way. With only one LEVEL control per channel, you can attenuate incoming signals to zero (full left position) or amplify them by factor two (full right position). In its center-position levels are left untouched. To get the best experience when adjusting levels around the center position, we did not use potentiometers with center-click. Instead, we established a dead zone for quickly and reliably finding the 12 o'clock spot. Each channel has outputs with normal and inverted polarity.

There is a summing section as well. Thus AMPLINUATOR 3 works as 3-in-1-mixer as well. The module processes audio signals and control voltages.

AMPLINUATOR 3 is a sophisticated helper in best VERMONA quality.

Versatile voltage generator module with 16 touch-sensitive pads
Notes: The Twisted Electrons Cells features 16 touch-sensitive pads including integral LED lights to give visual feedback on which pads are activated. The Eurorack style module can be fed up to two 12-bit values (semi-tone quantized or free scale) ranging from 0 to 5 volts. This duophonic rack-style instrument is primarily made for generating low-bit tones but can be also used to modulate parameters such as filters or amps and anything else that features a CV input. You can use the module as a sequencer using the 2 trigger inputs with the left input shifting up a row and the right input shifting right by one column. The handmade design features 2 CV/gate outputs, 2 tune buttons and 2 trigger inputs for optimal versatility, allowing you to use the Twisted Electrons Cells for a range of modulation applications.

Operation Overview:

Feed It:
- Tap a pad to select it
- Hold a tune button to engage the "feeding process" (left button for channel 1, right for channel 2).
- Adjust a knob to the desired pitch (left knob for channel 1, right for channel 2).
- So long as a tune button is held, the output is automatically changed as you move the knob
- Release the button, pitch information is stored to Eeprom

You can toggle between free scaling and semi-tone increment modes by pressing both tune buttons simultaneously.

Play it:
- Press a pad to trigger both gate and CV outputs
- Hold 2 or more pads and Cells will arpeggiate, the rate can now be changed with the left knob. The right knob changes the octave range.

Sequence it:
- Sequence the cells using the 2 trigger inputs. The left input shifts up a row and the right input shifts right by one column
- The gate outputs mirror the trigger inputs.
- Cells requires +5V DC power to operate, as well as +/- 12V. On-board 12V to 5V conversion is provided if 5V isn't available in your system. This is configured via a jumper on the rear of the module

TipTop Audio Forbidden Planet Analogue Filter Module (white)
TipTop Audio Forbidden Planet Analogue Filter Module (white) (CV modulation/effect/filter synth module)
Cat: 704130 Rel: 01 Oct 18

Multimode filter based on the Steiner-Parker design - 8HP
Notes: Welcome to the Forbidden Planet, an all analogue multi-mode filter design influenced by the 1975 Steiner-Parker Synthacon model. Control the Forbidden Planet manually or through CV and take the sound of your Eurorack into new orbits.

Forbidden Planet has three filter input jacks: High Pass, Low Pass and Band Pass. The High Pass section is this module's signature sound - a crisp sharp-cut with no residue, designed to add High Pass filtering capability to Tiptop Audio's wide range of Eurorack modules. Send a throbbing kick drum through the High Pass section and filter out the rumbling lows while maintaining the pulse of the beat. The Bandpass is clear and useful in isolating a pie-slice-range-of-frequencies while cutting off the low and highs, great for accurate sound design or sculpting audio into that sweet spot. The Low Pass is an airy classic 12db two-pole analogue slope ideal for monophonic synth patches and filtering down to the essential low-end bass we all love.

The Forbidden Planet Resonance utilizes an internal feedback path which can sound smooth or aggressive depending on the knob setting. At a low setting, it emphasizes the cut-off harmonics, at middle settings it begins to self-oscillate, and towards maximum setting it forms interesting tones and all sorts of chopped grainy bits of self-oscillation perfect for entering into a sci-fi world.

The Forbidden Planet is an impressive multi-mode analogue filter which adds a broader filter spectrum to the Tiptop Audio modular family and unlocks forbidden creative possibilities in a small package.

TipTop Audio Z4000 VC-EG Voltage Controlled Envelope Generator Module (white)
TipTop Audio Z4000 VC-EG Voltage Controlled Envelope Generator Module (white) (CV modulation/envelope generator/function generator synth module)
Cat: 696915 Rel: 27 Jul 18

Voltage controlled envelope generator.
Notes: The Z4000 NS is a snappy voltage-controlled analogue envelope generator with a built-in CV processor for scaling, inverting, and voltage-controlled deviating of the envelope shape. The Z4000 generates an envelope made of the four classic segments: Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release, in which each segment can be manually set using knobs or dynamically set under voltage control.

Control knobs for the Attack, Decay, and Release segments are scaled. The first 0-50% of the knobs rotation is dedicated to high resolution adjustment in the millisecond range.

The output levels are fully adjustable with signals that can reach up to 10V in either polarity and can be mirrored into the opposite polarity or clipped using the voltage-controlled deviater-scaler. A bi-colour LED indicates intermediate values in both polarities and their crossfade state.

The Attack slope switch allows selection of a logarithmic or exponential curve for the Attack segment. This subtle effect helps further the fine adjustment of the Attack segment slope. A Shoot button is provided to let you fire the envelope manually. The Z4000 also provides a retrigger input allowing you to create legato notes when using a classic keyboard interface.

Going down to nuts and bolts, the Z4000's smoothness and snappiness is made possible by a four-segment active-charge discrete circuit which is an extended version of circuits found in classic two-segment rise/fall transient generators.

Tiptop Audio SD808 Analogue Snare Drum Generator Module
Cat: 590417 Rel: 09 Nov 15

Snare drum module made from the TR808's circuit adapted for Eurorack use - 4HP wide
Notes: Introducing the SD808, part of our new series of drum modules that brings analog percussion to the modular synth world, instantly turning your system into a self-contained music machine.

The SD808 is the TR-808's analog snare drum circuit adapted for use in Eurorack modular synthesizer format and was designed to sound like a fresh-out-of-the-box, 1980s TR-808 snare. Adapting the circuit to the modular format has allowed us to add special features like independent accent levels, a high-powered gain stage, a dual-input pulse-shaper, and an adjustable noise source - all without compromising the signature sound of the TR-808 snare drum.

The SD808 sounds tight and extremely snappy because it's analog - the real thing, not samples. The sound is made with three analog sound generators mixed together: two oscillating sine waves and a noise source. The SD808's front panel controls have a lot of sweet spots with sounds that are not just limited to snare drum sounds; it can also create other electronic percussive elements.

The noise source generator in the original TR-808 machines were revised in later production batches, resulting in variations in sound across the production run. The SD808 uses this later, revised circuit to create a snare drum hit that is slightly darker, has more body, and is more realistic. Just like other drums in this series, the SD808 includes a high-powered output gain stage capable of producing signals up to 20Vpp, allowing you to get an array of harmonized snare drums sounds with even tighter attacks. On the inputs, we have designed a dual-input pulse-shaper circuit so you can trigger the SD808 with Trigger/Gate signals from step sequencers, clock dividers, or any other pulse/clock sources. This eliminates the need to shape pulses sent to the module and ensures the same stable sound at peak power, regardless of your pulse source. All these unique features make integrating this legendary sound generator into your modular synth easy, unleashing the power of real analog drums.

Tiptop Audio HATS808 Analogue Hi Hats Drum Generator Module
Cat: 590419 Rel: 09 Nov 15

Hi-hat percussion synth module made from the legendary TR-808's closed & open hi-hat circuits - 8HP wide
Notes: Introducing the HATS808, part of Tiptop Audio's new series of drum modules that bring analog percussion into the modular synth world, instantly turning your system into a self-contained music machine.

The HATS808 is the TR-808's real, analog closed and open hi-hat circuits adapted for use in Eurorack modular synthesizer format and tested to sound just like it did back in the 80's. Adapting to modular foramt has allowed Tiptop Audio to add some special features for each voice, like independent accent levels, a high-powered gain stage, and a dual-input pulse-shaper. Filter Q and VC-Q knobs were added to the main band-pass filter for additional tuning and to allow you to generate crushed tones and self-oscillation at the knob's max position - all without comprimising the signature sound of the TR-808 hi-hats.

The HATS808 sizzling sound is made using six analog square wave oscillators mixed and processed by band-pass filters. This multi-oscillator design is what give the 808 hi-hat sounds their unique metallic character and akes each HATS808 sound slightlty different from one-another. The original "choke" circuitry that makes it sound so dynamic and tight is fully implemented, just like the original, but can also be disabled if needed, by disconnecting the internal connection between the two hats.

Just like the other drums in this series, the HATS808 high-powered output gain stage allows you to further harmonize the sound using distortion and clipping. On each input, there is a dual pulse-shaper circuit so you can trigger your HATS808 with Trigger/Gate signals from step sequencers, clock dividers or any other pulse/clock sources. This eliminates the need to shape pulses sent to the module and ensures the same stable sound at peak power, regardless of your pulse source. All these unique features make integrating this legendary sound generator into your modular synth easy, unleashing the power of real analog drums.

Tiptop Audio CP909 Analogue Clap Drum Generator Module (light grey)
Cat: 590434 Rel: 09 Nov 15

Percussion synthesiser module version of the original TR-909 clap sound - 4HP wide
Notes: The CP909 is the TR-909 clap sound analog generator in Eurorack format. This is yet another low-cost analog drum generator from a legendary drum machine in your modular synthesizer, expanding your Tiptop Audio modular drum machine even further.

The CP909 is an exact reproduction of the original analog circuit and, with the addition of just one extra knob, "trashing" the frequency of the internal noise generator, we have added greatly to the spectrum of sounds that can be generated - all that without compromising the signature sound of the TR-909 clap.

The CP909 clap effect is made by a special triple-saw envelope generator that controls the gain of a VCA. The sound source feeding into the VCA is made by a quasi-random logic based noise generator; some might call it "digital noise" though this term might be misleading in today's world of microcontrollers and sound samples. What really makes the noise generator is a ring of logic gates, so primitive, so BO's, and that's the sound of the 909 Clap!

The CP909 includes a high-powered output gain stage capable of producing hot signals. On the inputs, we have designed a pulse-shaper circuit so you can trigger the CP909 with trigger/gate signals from step sequencers, clock dividers, or any other pulse/clock sources. This eliminates the need to shape pulses sent to the module and ensures the same stable sound at peak power, regardless of your pulse source. Based on the architecture of the 909, the Accent input is versatile and able to take in both CV and Gate signals for continuously changing dynamics. All these unique features make integrating this legendary sound generator into your modular synth easy, unleashing the power of real analog drums.

TipTop Audio RS909 909 Analogue Rimshot Drum Generator Module (light grey)
Cat: 618527 Rel: 03 Aug 16

Rimshot drum module based on voice from legendary TR-909 - 4HP wide
Notes: Another voice from the legendary TR-909 in Tiptop audio's product portfolio is this Rimshot. Its two oscillators can be tuned, unlike on the original.

Details:
As every drum module from Tiptop Audio also the RS909 has a gate input which is normalized to the accent input, making possible to play the drum with full power without the need to patch a lot.. Of course the accent input's intensity can be controlled as well as the output level of the module.

The rimshot sound is generated by two oscillators which in the original TR-909 were tuned to fixed frequencies. This limitation was omitted by Tiptop Audio as they equipped the module with two frequency potentiometers for detuning the oscillators. The original settings of the 909 are marked with black dots.

Tiptop Audio Fold Processor Wave Multiplier & Sub-Octave Generator Module (white)
Cat: 646204 Rel: 30 May 17

Wave multiplier & sub-octave generator - 12HP
Notes: The Fold Processor is a voltage controlled wave multiplier and sub-octave generator. The circuit is based on a classic diode design that adds odd harmonics by folding the incoming signal, followed by subdivided square waves.

The wave folder creates new waveforms from the standard sine, triangle, sawtooth and square waves, has a dedicated output jack and CV input with an attenuator making it very easy to create beautifully animated folding sounds. Adjustable voltage controlled Inject alters the bias point creating an even wider palette of sounds.

The subdivide generator squares the fold output generating 4 more sounds spaced one octave apart, each with its own gain knob and mixed to the Subdivide output jack. Mixing the four can create anything from discordant square wave swarms to sweet harmonic oscillator stacks, from a stable square version of the folded wave to freaky PLL like glitched slides.

Overall results can sound evil at times and sweet at others, a true multi-faced devil.

TipTop Audio ModFX Chorus/Flanger/Filter Module (white) (digital/effect/filter synth module)
Cat: 847049 Rel: 26 Oct 21

Chorus, flanger and filter module
Notes: ModFX offers three banks of modulations effects from classic stomp box and rack effects to more experimental processing not found in any other hardware. One of the strengths of this module is the creative ways it moves static mono sources into expansive stereo sound fields.

The Chorus bank has effects essential to electronic music production. Many classic synths like the Solina or Juno series used chorus as part of their trademark sounds. While Chorus is often a subtle process the widens and deepens the source sound - one that you almost don't notice until it's turned off - these eight programs include some more esoteric options that can create wobbly ambiences or deep detuned rooms particularly when combined with the Fidelity control.

Flange effects come from the modulation of very short delay times and this bank expands on that to include Karplus and Resonant pitch effects and panning using the Haas effect. Programs like the Chord Resonator can turn percussive tracks into harmonic material and the Haas panning creates wide stereo spreads without pitch or amplitude modulation.

ModFX's Filter bank doesn't have the typical high and low pass options common to synths and instead features a set of highly modulated and unusual filtering options. Programs include a couple of vintage inspired all pass filter based phasers, filter based panning and some vocal formant options.

Tenderfoot Electronics SVF-1 State Variable Filter Module
Cat: 805888

State variable filter module - 8HP.
Notes: The new SVF-1 from Tenderfoot Electronics is a great sounding state variable filter with voltage controlled cutoff and resonance. The SVF-1 self-oscillates when the resonance is turned up and has a 1V/octave input for use as a sine wave VCO.

The resonance circuit includes a Q control, a drive control, and a button to press if you're feeling less polite and really want to push the resonance beyond its limit and get it sounding dirty! The Q control is also controllable via a CV input jack.

All outputs are available simultaneously:
Low Pass
Band Pass
High Pass
Notch

A tonne of versatility from a filter in 8HP.

Teia Synthesizers MapVolt Dual Voltage Processor Module
Cat: 937908 Rel: 16 Feb 24

Dual voltage processor module - 6HP
Notes: Designed with versatility in mind, MapVolt is a dual-channel Universal Voltage Processor built for flexibility in handling audio and CV signals.

With only 6hp, Mapvolt is a multipurpose tool for voltage-controlled scaling, inverting, offsetting, subtracting, and mixing functions.

Each channel of MapVolt can operate in either Polarizer or Attenuator mode, allowing manual control via knobs or CV signals. In Polarizer mode, it functions as a Voltage Controlled Attenuator-Inverter, granting control over signal level and polarity. Additionally, it can be used as a Four-Quadrant Multiplier or Ring Modulator for audio signals, with the processor input serving as the carrier signal and the polarizer's CV input acting as the modulator.

In Attenuator mode, MapVolt operates as a VCA, providing control over signal levels. Its VCA CV input range of +5/-5 makes it well-suited for amplitude modulation (AM) with other +/-5V waveforms.

MapVolt is equipped with dedicated Voltage Offset knobs for each channel, which can be controlled via CV. If no input is patched into the Processor input channel, the Voltage Offset knobs can be used as Offset Generators.

With its dedicated mixing stage, MapVolt enables the combination of both channels into a shared output. Furthermore, if one of the processor channels is inverted, it allows for the subtraction of one signal from the other.

Tangible Waves AE Modular SEQ16 Analogue 16 Step CV Sequencer Module
Cat: 719650 Rel: 03 Sep 19

Analogue 16-step CV sequencer
Notes: The SEQ16 is a 16-step sequencer for controlling oscillator pitch and triggering envelopes.

Compared to "classic" analogue sequencers it works a bit different: Instead of setting the CV for each step independently (which means in fact "tuning" each step which can be a bit tedious), the SEQ16 has 5 knobs for pre-setting different CV's (= notes); each of the 16 step knobs selects one of these CVs, plus 0V (=base note) plus Pause (no trigger output). So some CVs have to be fine-tuned once; with the step knobs you can focus entirely on the sequence itself and you can even modify it on the fly, still remaining in tune.

An additional feature is "accent"; this can be set for each step by turning the knob fully clockwise. If a step is set to "accent", a separate trigger output is set and also a gate repeat for the regular gate output can be selected (from one to eight repeats).
