Released in 1973, it captures everything you love about the Eagles from shit-kickin' rock n' roll like 'Out of Control' facing off with sentimental classic 'Tequila Sunrise'. Review: Muslimgauze is given the Vinyl On Demand treatment! Bryn Jones work as Muslimgauze has been
retrospectively compared to Dominick Fernow's Vatican Shadow for his occasional forays into rougher texture as well as the politically charged subtext, but the music is a lot more wide-ranging, moving from an early industrial influence into something much more psychedelic, making his music feel more relevant today than ever. Chasing The Shadow of Bryn Jones 1983-1988 may only make a dent in Jones' career, and the price tag will put off all but the most affluent of interested Muslimgauze completists, but the ten LPs highlight how crucial an influence his mid 80s output remains on modern music. Includes 208-page book, A1 poster, and 15-track CD compiled By Charles Powne of Soleilmoon.

Notes: All Goldring 2000 series cartridges feature Moving Iron technology. The Kick Lancet generator is a handy analogue percussion synthesizer with priority to kick-drum sounds.

The heart of the Kick Lancet's sound structure is an analogue oscillator that produces sine and square waves, which can blend seamlessly from one to the other. 2 independent envelope generators with a decay/release phase can modulate the oscillator's frequency and the VCA. Additionally the VCO pitch can be modulated by the fast LFO (3Hz to 3 kHz, triangle). Noise and a pulse signal can be added in the mixer section. Vermona have a balls-controller for making it really big.

The Kick Lancet can be triggered by MIDI but beside that there are 3 different trigger inputs. A gate trigger, which impulse can trigger the Kick Lancet in normal way with additional accent or completely dynamical depending on the incoming voltage, a simply short current trigger (i.e. momentary foot switch) and an audio input, which offers the possibility to trigger the Kick Lancet by an audio signal statically or dynamically. Drum pads can also be connected here.

ZED-10 features a responsive 3-band, swept mid frequency EQ design which utilises MusiQ - with optimised slope (or Q factor) for equalising individual instruments.

ZED-10's pre-amps are similar in design to our MixWizard range of mixers, but with a twist! Inputs 3 & 4 have a high impedance jack input capable of taking either a normal line level or a low level input from a guitar pickup. These newly designed inputs have been crafted with the aim of replicating the sound of a classic guitar or instrument tube pre-amp in a combo or head amp. An extremely high input impedance ensures loading on pick-ups is minimal and a Class A FET (field effect transistor) circuit powered from 48V is employed to give the valve-like gain stage. Review: Visionaire SOUND consists of five 12-inch picture discs, containing approximately 100 minutes of sound content featuring audio experiments, unreleased songs, samples, and spoken word pieces. The 5 records are packaged inside
a domed case that also houses a custom-made MINI Clubman "Vinyl Killer" Record Player: a battery-operated toy car containing speakers and a needle. As the little car drives along the record's groove, it plays each track, acting as a fully portable record player and sound system. The issue also includes 2 CDs with all the sound content, and a booklet of credits and instructions. Review: While Florida's Deicide are arguably still one of the most recognisable death metal acts in the scene, many (apart from avid devotees) might be shocked to learn that the vast majority of the group's albums, primarily their formative and quintessential Roadrunner releases, have received little to no vinyl pressings. Roadrunner Years is set to rectify this absurdity with a grandiose boxset, spanning from 1990-2001, and including the first worldwide versions of, 'In Torment In Hell', 'Insineratehymn', and 'When Satan Lives', as well as the first North American vinyl releases of, 'Serpents Of The Light', and, 'Once Upon The Cross'. Cue: auto-cue at track start, and set cue point.

Change Pitch: alter speed and key of track plus or minus 100.

Bend pitch: momentarily alter speed of track.

Crossfade: set the line out and/or phones blend of the two channels.

Loop: set loop, split loop from end-point, split loop from in-point, exit loop, re-enter loop.

Rewind and forward: When pressing the P-switch, the rewind button sets the in-point of a loop, and the forward button the end-point. To adjust
loop in and end-points, press the P-switch upwards and either of the directional buttons, then adjust the desired point on
the touchpad.

Channel 1 and Channel 2: Press left button to control channel 1, press right button to control channel 2. Full mixing functionality is available for
both channels independently. Pressing the P-switch upwards allows for toggling between time played and time left
indication in the display.

Crossfader: Set at maximum left, channel 1 is alone in line out, set at maximum right, only channel 2 is in line out, and set in the middle, both
channels are at the same line out level. Any variations hereof are of course possible blend options. Press the P-switch downwards
and the crossfader switches to control the channel blend in the headphones.

Play/pause: The play button behaves like on any other audio player, but when in Mix Mode, the pause is 'stuttering', allowing you to search and
find the appropriate place to set the cue point. When pressing the P-switch upwards, the play button reverses the play direction.

Cue: The Cue button sets the starting point for the track and can also be used to create effects. When pressing the P-switch upwards, the Cue
button enables exiting and re-entering a loop.

Touchpad: The touchpad allows you to bend a track, change EQ values and gain levels. When pressing the P-switch upwards, the touchpad
allows for controlling and setting pitch values, filter parameters and audio effect levels. When pressing the P-switch downwards,
the touchpad allows for controlling the headphones volume. The touchpad is also used to navigate the track library and the device
settings.

Settings: The Settings button lets you turn on and turn off the device. When turned on, the Settings button gives you access to the settings menu.

Kill All: The Kill All button resets all effect values to zero, and lets you relaunch effects to latest values per track and channel.

The Solo Strings II contains many of the playing techniques that the first collection includes, but played con sordino or with mutes. Playing with mutes dampens the transmission of energy from the strings to the body of the instrument and softens or darkens the sound. Muted string instruments lend themselves well to soft, intimate arrangements and solo parts and provide nuanced variations to any kind of musical style with their different structure of overtones and harmonics. Only wooden mutes crafted by a special instrument maker have been used in order to fit perfectly to the bridge of each instrument. The Solo Strings II collection contains articulations such as muted short and long notes, crescendo and diminuendo variations, as well as interval performances like legato, portamento and trills.

Furthermore, additional performance legatos with very long notes have been recorded for use in slower parts. Thus, every single pitch and velocity is available in 24 variations and going the extra mile proved worthwhile.

Review: Renowned post-punk iconoclasts Gang of Four might only have guitarist Andy Gill remaining from the original line-up that made some of their best records, such as 1979's 'Entertainment', but the group endures to this day, even when it comes to new music. This limited release though is all about collecting the band's best moments from their early years. Across the five records are albums Entertainment! and Solid Gold (which have both been remastered from original tapes), plus a singles album, and double LP vision of Live at American Indian Center 1980, which has never been put out before.

Review: There are various eye watering stats about the many, many million copies of this album that have been pressed and sold. For each one sold there is almost as many different versions of it, too, if you look on Discogs. But all the hype and huff aside, there is a reason it is one of jazz's most famous records. The sultry modal moods, the masterfully melancholic trumpet sounds Davis conjures and the noir, late night vibe are all perfectly realised and universally understood. Without it, music at large, let alone jazz, would sound very different.

Review: The 40th anniversary reissue of Rush's Moving Pictures is an ultimate collector's edition across five 12"s, a triple CD pack and a Blu-Ray DVD. It landed in April 1981 and was recorded in Quebec's Le Studio. As per previous music it found the band serving up plenty of pop leaning, radio friendly short but snappy tunes in collaboration with longtime producer Terry Brown who was back at the buttons for what was the eight long player for this seminal rock outfit. Standout singles 'Tom Sawyer', 'Limelight' and 'Vital Signs' all still sound as good now as ever, especially on this deluxe reissue.
