Notes: The 0HP Butt0n from Mystic Circuits is a deceptively useful yet simple entry into the 0HP modular line. Two buttons that work in tandem to create a variety of switching behaviours. Use either the latching or momentary button to activate or deactivate two connected signals. Some clever routing also allows the latching button to change the momentary button from normally open to normally closed. Similar signal paths to Mystic Circuits' 0ttenuator module allow both channels to be used separately, two signals to be mixed together or one signal to be sent to two destinations.

Notes: Dont let the name fool you, this module is quite a bit more than just an envelope. ePatch in a gate and your output will behave as a normal sustain- release envelope, staying high while the gate is high and slowly decaying once it goes low. Patch in audio and you have an envelope follower, extracting amplitude data from whatever signal is coming in. Patch in any positive control voltage and you have a slew, adding glide whenever the incoming voltage falls. All three modes boast voltage control over the release/ response time and can use the on board input mult to either daisy chain multiple envelopes or to extract amplitude data from an audio input and then send the audio somewhere else. Possibly Mystic Circuits' most useful 0HP module yet.

Notes: An audio filter in a tiny package! A blend between Mystic Circuits' "AND - gate" and their "Vactrol Low Pass Gate" circuits, the cutoff frequency can be modulated at audio rate. It also features a voltage controlled clipping circuit which allows for further wave shaping. The response of this circuit is much faster than that of the Vactrol Low Pass Gate, so it will react to very plucky envelopes and even triggers.

Give your module a facelift

These replacement faceplates are designed for use with the module in the traditional orientation with the screen on top. These are the same faceplates used when manufacturing our modules, but now in black. They are anodized aluminium with a bead blasted finish.

Swapping out a faceplate is easy to do, and requires a small wrench or pliers. Here are the steps to replace a faceplate:

Remove the module from the rack.
Use a small wrench or pliers to remove the small round nuts around each of the mini jacks. Note that these nuts have a notch on the top side of them. This notch fits into a specialized tool that can be used to remove these nuts more easily.
Gently tug on the four knobs to pull them off.
Use a small wrench or pliers to remove the hex nuts from the knob stems.
Remove the washers from the knob stems.
Gently pull up on the faceplate and it will slide off easily.
Place the new faceplate on the module.
Replace the washers on the knob stems.
Use a small wrench or pliers to replace the hex nuts on the knob stems.
Use a small wrench or pliers to replace the small round nuts around each of the mini jacks. Note that the notch should be on the top side of the nuts, the side away from the faceplate.
Look at the underside of the knobs and the post that they rest on. You will see that the knobs are keyed. Line up the flat edge of the hole in the knob with the flat edge of the post, and then push the knob onto the post. If you have the knob aligned properly, it should go on with moderate pressure. If it seems to require more force, please check the alignment.

This 2-row rack for AE modular is 12 units wide with 2 rows; the MASTER module consumes 2 units so you have 22U remaining for other modules.

Via a joint kit (not included) another case of this width (either one-row or two-row) can be attached at a free angle; the bus is connected via a short connector cable between both cases.

The sides are made of red acrylic, all other parts are of wood fibre board (MDF), black painted.

Notes: The 2CVADD-HQ is a dual precision adder especially for adding 1V/octave (pitch-controlling) CVs. This makes it possible e.g. to transpose a sequence. Compared to general purpose CV mixers (like POLAMIX), this module does the summing of the CVs very precise (within a few millivolts), so the desired pitch is not affected.

The module offers three CV inputs for each of the both units; the first unit has an additional fourth input where the CV is subtracted - meaning "transposition downwards".

If you would like to have transposition buttons to shift by one or two octaves (or a free offset), take a look at the CVADDER-HQ module.

Notes: 2TONE is a dual bass-treble tone control, that is a quite useful companion for the MIXCONSOLE, to shape the overall spectrum of individual signal paths.

Notes: 4ATTMIX offers four input channels which can be level controlled / attenuated by the corresponding knobs. The attenuated signals are sent to four outputs.

Additionally, each channel can be sent to an internal mixer by the switches beside the knobs. The mix signal is then sent to the mix output.

An additional switch selects the general operation mode for the mixer, for DC/CV signals or for audio signals.

Notes: The LOPAG is the lowpass gate module for AE. It is based on a Vactrol (like all good lowpass gates) and has two inputs: IN (audio signal) and TRIG. A pulse on the TRIG input opens the signal path shortly and via the characteristics of the Vactrol the audio signal is filtered and attenuated in a plucked, percussive way. Additional GATE and CV inputs allow more control over the way the module works.

Notes: The MIXCONSOLE JACKOUT is an extension for the MIXCONSOLE with 1/4" (6.5mm) jack sockets for master left/right output and for the FX send and returns - all via mono sockets (unbalanced). This avoids the need for separate adapter cables.

The module is connected via a small internal connection cable to the right of the MIXCONSOLE or as neighbour of the MIXCONSOLE XLROUT module.

Notes: This is an expander for Bartender and Barback, enabling CV control of the level of the send bus of up to 8 channels.

Each section of four jacks has a cable to connect to the mixer modules. To get 4 channels to work with Barback you want to connect it to the last Barback in the chain of two. It will then pass along channels 3 & 4 to the next Barback.
