384 pages, hardpaper, black & white/colour
Notes: In these 384 pages of garish, pop and glam rock european picture sleeve glory, the Wired Up! celebrates the sights and sounds of the zeitgeist aberration that was early 70's glitter rock records; where the flash, shock and outrageousness of the picture sleeve oftentimes proved just as important as the explosive sounds within.

A renaissance of style, a riot of color and the raving rocking rebirth of the three-minute-pop single, the Wired Up! Is not only an early clue to the new direction rock and roll was taking in the 1970's, but the final statement on a disposable era's lasting appeal.

252 page hardback book celbrating over 100 years of photography in the Caribbean
Notes: This book celebrates over 100 years of photography in the Caribbean. From calypso kings to Vodou priests, revolutionaries to dictators, colonialism to independence, slave trade to tourist paradise - the many uses and abuses of the Caribbean are vividly captured here.

The image of the Caribbean is as much a creation of the outsider as it is the complex identity of its people, a melting pot of races created out of the participants of the 400 year slave trade - enforced Africans, indigenous Caribbeans and their colonisers - French, Spanish, Dutch, English.

From luscious and beautiful backdrop of tourism and hedonist retreat, to colonial outpost and revolutionary threat within North America's backyard, the complex identity of the Caribbean stands at the intersection of tourism, the detritus of the slave trade, the decline of colonialism and the region's tropicality.

The regions politics span an almost constantly changing path of ideas, radicalism and revolutionaries - from Castro's Cuba and Michael Manley's Jamaica, to the violent right-wing dictatorships of Haiti's Francois 'Papa Doc' Duvalier and the Dominican Republic's Rafael Trujillo.

The hundreds of fascinating and unique photographs featured here illustrate more than one hundred years of Caribbean history, culture and industry as well as the subsequent diaspora of its people to America, England, Canada and elsewhere.

Introduction by Paul Gilroy. Edited by Stuart Baker.

Paul Gilroy is the author of There Ain't No Black in the Union Jack: The Cultural Politics of Race and Nation (1987), The Black Atlantic: Modernity and Double Consciousness (1993), Black Britain - A Photographic History (2004) amongst others.

Stuart Baker is the editor of a number of photography and design books all of which deal with culture and identity including Punk 45 (with Jon Savage), Dancehall (with Beth Lesser), Kanaval: Vodou, Politics and Revolution on the Streets of Haiti (with Leah Gordon), Voguing (with Chantal Regnault), Bossa Nova, Freedom, Rhythm & Sound (both with Gilles Peterson) and more. Memoirs of Brian McMahon, founding member of Ohio proto-punk band Electric Eels - 300 page book, 1st edition of 500 copies
Notes: The Electric Eels have left a serious scar on the face of music like few other originals have so far, a complex yet primitive pulsation of audio animosity shot through the universe right at the exact moment when nobody could comprehend it. Chicago may be the Midwest hub population-wise, but we all know that Ohio was Punk's true Mesopotamia, and nothing spells that out more succinctly as the Electric Eels.

Founding guitarist Brian McMahon's long-awaited memoir of his wild proto-punk days is finally here, the first-ever book covering the primordial ooze of Cleveland's wiry mutants in all their prickly-detailed glory. Over the course of 300 pages, you can really crawl inside the brain of one of America's finest overlooked musical miscreants, a fascinating glimpse into the vivid details and sickening dreams of one half of the songwriting contribution to the Electric Eels demented noise. To be so ahead of their time with so little to lose, now just the utterance of their name holds instant reverence with the punk cognoscenti, but that took a while. Once the meat of their recordings was unearthed and had time to circulate, now everyone is tripping over themselves to drool at their feet, and rightfully so.

Jaguar Ride: Memoir of an Electric Eel taps into the once impenetrable inner space of life around this ground-breaking "band" quite effortlessly. Like the eye of the universe opening up just enough for your weary legs to slip past and dangle in it's toxic waters, McMahon leads us through his haziest experiences with incredible recollections of what it felt like to stand at the edge of the cliff of possibilities. The Electric Eels were true originals that streaked across time and space for a very short amount of time in the early-to-mid 1970s, creating nothing short of atonal atrocities glistening with punk promise. Deranged Rust Belt pop songs blanched in chemical waste and chopped mercilessly with a broken food processor and left for dead, only to be rediscovered when the coast was clear for cultures so noxiously curdled to finally thrive. Now that experience is finally here in book form for you to absorb and indulge, and as the mysteries of the Eels go many layers deep, fear not and embody their pioneering spirit, finally in print.

Large format (12" x 12") plexi-bound deluxe book, 180 pages with amazing collection of record sleeves
Notes: Soul Jazz Records are proud to present this amazing collection of sleeves from the deepest, deepest jazz music ever - compiled by Gilles Peterson and Stuart Baker (Soul Jazz Records).

This is a unique collection of cover artwork of revolutionary jazz music between 1965-83. Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and the civil rights movement of the 1960s loom large as self-determination, economic power and musical freedom led to jazz artists finding new paths - both musical and economic.

Years before the D-I-Y cultural revolution of punk, Sun Ra, John Coltrane, Pharoah Sanders, Don Cherry, Ornette Coleman, the Art Ensemble of Chicago and others 'took control' of their own work by recording, releasing and distributing their own music themselves.

The record sleeves of this era are as iconic and historically unique as the music itself and a striking reflection of the time; pre-desktop publishing, pre-internet these small-run (sometimes as low as 500 copies), self-made sleeves are graphically bold and radical.

'Freedom, Rhythm and Sound' is the first ever collection of this fascinating goldmine of album art, which represents the first wave of inspired independent production within popular music.

'Freedom, Rhythm and Sound' includes a large introduction contextualising the music and artwork as well as features on many of the people involved. Alongside the musicians mentioned above these include Rashied Ali, Steve Reid, Mary Lou Williams, Horace Tapscott, Lloyd McNeil, Tribe, The Last Poets, The Pharoahs, Philip Cohran, Black Artists Group and many others.

Deluxe flexibound 10th anniversary edition
Notes: New 10th anniversary edition on Soul Jazz Books/Soul Jazz Records of this now classic large format deluxe book - the definitive photography book and essential guide to Jamaican Dancehall in the 1980s featuring 100s and 100s of amazing photographs - all with accompanying text, interviews and biographies.

'Dancehall' is an essential reference book for anyone interested in Reggae and captures a previously unseen era of musical culture, fashion and lifestyle in stunning, vibrant colour.

Dancehall is a culture that encompasses music, fashion, drugs, guns, art, community, technology, and more. Born in the 1950s out of the neighbourhood soundsystems of Kingston, Dancehall grew to its height in the 1980s before a massive influx of drugs and guns made the scene too dangerous for many. Today Dancehall remains at the centre of Jamaican musical and cultural life. From its roots in Kingston in the 1950s to its heyday in the 1980s, Dancehall conquered the globe spreading to the USA, UK, Canada, Japan, Europe and beyond.

In the early 1980s Jamaica was in the throws of political and gang violence - photographer Beth Lesser ventured where few other dared and this book is a never-before-seen record of the exciting, dangerous and vibrant world of Dancehall.

Living in Jamaica in the late 70s and early 80s she photographed and documented a cultural explosion as producers, singers, DJs and soundsystems who all made a living out of the slums of Kingston. With unprecedented access to the incredibly vibrant music scene during this period, Beth Lesser's photographs are a unique way into a previously hidden part of Jamaican culture.

240-page, full colour book featuring the artwork of Mac Blackout
Notes: The all-seeing eye of Mac Blackout knows no visible boundary. After a solid 25-plus years of neurotically-enthralling creativity across several media types, he finally has a book to show for all of his exciting and enduring hard work. Around Chicago, his art has become inescapable, always peeking out from a storefront, a doorway, an alley, or one of his beloved garbage cans, his aesthetic has become an unofficial pock mark on the face of the city. But that's only what you can see on the surface, as the tone gets darker the deeper you dig into his cadre of nightmarish delights, depicting the spectrum between twisted daydreams and fantastic exaggeration. Mac truly creates the demons you want around you, adding strange comfort to the mayhem and fear they would normally invoke. "Madman's Eye" may be Mac Blackout's first art book, but we'd wager it will not be his last.

"As his direction has drifted across so many projects over the years, he's gone from respected graffiti artist, into the world of fine art, and into pen & ink, collage, & multi-media painting. Not to mention his numerous world-renowned punk bands, Functional Blackouts, Daily Void, Mickey, New Rose Alliance, and his solo material with Mac Blackout Band, Mac has always been at the centre of a rogue nervous system that needed to come to life on its own in the form of his art. The incredible resourcefulness and raw talent are impossible to ignore here, and his work is already instantly recognizable. This book epitomizes his deft ability to conquer a multitude of impressively disturbing, yet incredibly interconnected styles, along with deeper look into the Madman behind the Eye." - Todd Novak

252 page, numbered, case bound, full colour printed book with exclusive 7" on white vinyl
Notes: Record stores are popping up again everywhere. New vinyl pressing plants are opening in America, Europe and Asia. Young vinyl enthusiasts - both male and female! - are swarming to record fairs looking for old and new records to build their collection. When Passion for Vinyl Part 1 came out, there was still some doubt about the comeback of vinyl. Wasn't it all just a hype? Now, five years later, even the biggest sceptic can't deny it: vinyl is back and it's here to stay!

In light of all these new and exciting developments, a follow-up to the successful and well-received first volume of the Passion for Vinyl book (four stars in Record Collector magazine) is more than viable. DJs, musicians, engineers, designers, shop managers, record label CEOs and collectors like Dischord's Ian MacKaye, Norton's Miriam Linna, singer-songwriter Ryley Walker, musician and producer T Bone Burnett, Abbey Road's half-speed maestro Miles Showell, DJs Sven Vath and Ellen Allien, designer John Kosh and many others tell about the records that changed their lives, their love for vinyl and the impact its resurgence has had on them. Passion for Vinyl Part 2 also shows how analogue recording techniques are making a comeback in the recording and mastering studios.

In the last few years, countless music lovers have (re)discovered that nothing beats listening to a vinyl record on a proper stereo set. It makes the listener connect with the music like nothing else. This book is a tribute to that unique experience.

Passion for Vinyl Part. 2 is written by Dutch author, music journalist and vinyl fanatic Robert Haagsma. With an introduction by Michael Kurtz, co-founder of Record Store Day.

Limited Deluxe Edition in block foiled presentation case with a set of 4 prints
Notes: This Hardcover Deluxe Limited Edition book from Martin Popoff is an easy to read book utilising his celebrated timeline with quotes methodology, allowing for drop-ins on all aspects of Alice's busy life. The author has made use of his extensive archive of interviews with Alice and the band as well as producers, designers and even The Amazing Randi, world-renowned magician and inventor of Alice's legendary guillotine prop. Welcome to My Nightmare is an immense addition to Alice Cooper scholarship. Alice Cooper was one of the biggest concert draws in the seventies with a string of gold and platinum albums to his name. Hits include "I'm Eighteen," "Be My Lover," "Under My Wheels," "School's Out," "Elected," & "Billion Dollar Babies".

Alice continued to shake pop consciousness with Welcome to My Nightmare and a string of hit ballads. He appeared regularly on TV and talk shows. Following a debilitating drug and alcohol addiction and subsequent notorious dark period in the early eighties which is addressed in the book, Alice returned to gold and platinum status with albums like Trash and Hey Stoopid, featuring smash singles "Poison" and "Feed My Frankenstein." He's never stopped touring and being a multi-media whirlwind sinceiAlice, with his pioneering use of facepaint, remains one of the most famous faces in America. Shockingly, there has not been a comprehensive Alice Cooper book since the eighties. The key here is the rich content Popoff brings to the project. Welcome to My Nightmare is sure to impress the Alice expert and novice alike, with new revelations and interviews turning up page after page.

Beautifully designed and packaged in a block foiled, presentation box with a set of 4 high quality prints.

Limited edition book + CD
Notes: After L.A. is a lifetime as a moment. Not just a collection, but a consideration of what it means for an artist to have grown up, lashed out, and re-nested all within the extremely wide borders of Los Angeles. PALOMA PARFREY's ethos is immersed in LA history, both of the book smarts sort and the personally experienced. To some she is known as a chef. Others a punk diva. The majority of strangers in LA probably know her as the person always checking out 15 books simultaneously at the library. After L.A. pulls together all these things in the form of both a book and an album equal parts intertwined and standing on their own; much like the strange way the diversities of LA life and history work together.

Paloma Parfrey has been writing and performing poetry around LA since she was 13. Her band, THE SHARP EASE, was an integral part of the LA DIY punk scene throughout the '00s. Her bandmate for the CD portion of this release is BRIAN MILLER, who performed in the drum and voice quartet FOOT VILLAGE, is a member of the TRUE NEUTRAL CREW, and records music for film and TV. Together they are SCROLLS.

224 page book with 7" vinyl
Notes: After having borrowed lines from Jimi Hendrix and English poets for all previous anniversary releases we struck out for this one until Kim, well after the deadline, accidentally stumbled over Johnny Cash and "Forever Words: The Unknown Poems". "Let's Put It To Music" quite nails it when it comes to the basic idea of the book and how we approach the whole process of making a record.

As Tim Gane is quotet in Adrian Shaughnessy's introduction "a Stereolab record was never finished until the cover was done". That rings true for Rune Grammofon as well, and we would like to add that a sleeve is never designed for the sole purpose of selling a product (it took 28 releases before an artist was pictured on the sleeve!), or necessarily reflect the music in any way (is that even possible?), but rather to establish a suggestive relation between the two, often based on the album title or a song title, but not in an obvious way.
After some 200 releases, I can't remember Kim ever "explaining" a sleeve design, and I can't remember me ever asking him. It's no secret that label founder Rune Kristoffersen is a big admirer of labels like Blue Note, Impulse, ECM, 4AD and Factory, to mention some labels with strong visual identities. But we can't recall another label that has worked with one designer exclusively for 20 years and 200 releases.

The exclusivity was a premise for our collaboration from the very beginning, but we certainly never had any expectations about how long we would be able to keep it going. Especially when considering that Kim is occupied on a number of arenas; as photographer, filmmaker, illustrator, painter, writer, musician, dancer and choreographer.
As one will discover, the book is far from being a catalog lining up the releases (it's not even "complete" or chronological in that sense), but gives an interesting insight by also including sketches, rejected designs and unused ideas that never left the drawing board... until now. Lists are a source of controversy, as Hedvig Mollestad discusses rather well in her text.

We haven't had much time for them either, but with the resurgence of music literature on all sort of subjects, they seem to have come alive again. And with the eclectic mix of artists on the label, why not give it a try? We figure the main funcion of lists is to arouse curiosity and hopefully lead to new cultural discoveries, which can only be a good thing. The idea of including a 7" single also came late and would depend on getting at last one track real quickly. To our delight, we miraculously ended up with what is surely three of the most beautiful tracks in our catalog, and all exclusive for this release.

Tracklist:

Side A:
1. Fire! Orchestra - Enter, Part One (With & Without Fire!)

Side B:
1. Maja SK Ratkje - Sja, Amioda
2. The Last Hurrah!! With Nora Zheng - Blues In Chinatown

An Illustrated History of Hellhammer & Early Celtic Frost 1981-1985
Notes: This formidable oversized hardcover runs 288 pages (including a 32-page colour section), and combines hundreds of unseen early HELLHAMER and CELTIC FROST photos with a vast treasure trove of artwork and memorabilia. A substantial written component by TOM GABRIEL FISCHER (aka TOM G. WARRIOR). Fischer details his upbringing on the outskirts of Zurich, Switzerland, and the hardships and triumphs he faced bringing the visions of his ground-breaking bands Hellhammer and eventually Celtic Frost to reality.

In addition, the book includes an introduction by NOCTURNO CULTO of Norwegian black metal act DARKTHRONE, and a foreword by noted metal author JOEL MCIVER. There is no question that this book goes farther than any other source in exploring the origins of underground heavy metal. The wealth of visual information is astounding, both in terms of documenting early 1980s headbangers and exposing the still-relevant imagery of the first Hellhammer and Celtic Frost photo sessions. On top of that, the written chapters combine Tom Fischer's often shocking stories with lengthy quotes from MARTIN ERIC and the other main Hellhammer members, explaining in intimately human terms how extreme metal was born. Stunning.

288pp (24pp colour) deluxe Wibalin-bound hardcover.

576-page trade paperback book containing all 22 issues of the Touch & Go punk zine
Notes: Bazillion Points Books announces the June 2010 release of Touch & Go: The Complete Hardcore Punk Zine '79-'83, a collection of wild-eyed artefacts from the very dawn of hardcore punk, penned in poison ink by legendary frontman TESCO VEE of the MEATMEN and his partner-in-crime DAVE STIMSON, and edited by former THE FIX singer STEVE MILLER. The landmark collection of all twenty-two issues of Touch And Go magazine also includes extra archival material and new introductions by authors Tesco Vee (the Meatmen) and Dave Stimson; punk icons HENRY ROLLINS (S.O.A./BLACK FLAG), KEITH MORRIS (Black Flag/CIRCLE JERKS), COREY RUSK (NECROS/Touch and Go Records), JOHN BRANNON (NEGATIVE APPROACH), IAN MACKAYE (MINOR THREAT), and Steve Miller (The Fix); plus literary appreciation by PETER DAVIS (Your Flesh), HENRY OWINGS (Chunklet), and BYRON COLEY (Forced Exposure). Created during the key years of the American hardcore punk music underground, these acidic essays, impassioned record reviews, eyewitness gig reports, unrehearsed interviews, and incendiary artworks preserve the original thoughts and attitudes of DIY culture. Today, punk music is mainstream youth music - this is how it all happened, and this is who did it.

The book's pages are plastered with early gig flyers, inspirational artwork, eyewitness action photos, and candid vintage interviews with now-legendary squads like the Fix, Necros, Minor Threat, Youth Brigade, Iron Cross, Misfits, Negative Approach, JFA, Battalion of Saints, Crucifucks, SSD, 7 Seconds, Faith, the Effigies, Bad Religion, the Minutemen, Scream, Die Kreuzen, Crucifix, Void, Poison Idea, and others - plus hundreds of reviews of historic DIY punk, new wave, ska, industrial, no wave, and hardcore records and live shows, all captured fresh during the underground big bang by the merciless Midwestern masters of mayhem and mimeograph journalism.

"A Crucible of Coming-of-Age Comedies from Animal House to Zapped!" - by Mike "McBeardo" McPadden
Notes: Born in the drive-in theatre backseats of the 1970s, the demonic fun of Teen Movie Hell ignited the 1980s VCR, cable TV, and multiplex booms that burned well into the 1990s. Between George Lucas's American Graffiti (1973) and Richard Linklater's Dazed and Confused (1993), lust-driven laff riots on the order of Animal House, Porky's, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, and Revenge of the Nerds boomed at the box office and celebrated adolescent misbehaviour run amok.

Author Mike "McBeardo" McPadden (Heavy Metal Movies) passes righteous judgment, one boobs-and-boner opus at a time, plus penetrating insight from Eddie Deezen (Grease, Zapped!), Samm Deighan, Kat Ellinger, Wendy McClure, Katie Rife, Heather Drain, Lisa Carver, Rachel McPadden, Liz Mason, Christina Ward, and Kier-La Janisse.

Tap the keg, tailor your toga, and belly flop into an exploitation odyssey of bikini Beaches, summer camps, study halls, wayward teachers, cool camp counsellors, wet t-shirts, custom vans, sexy ESP, shower peepholes, and other overlooked penal code violations!

360-page softcover book.

240 page hardback book
Notes: Are you obsessed with John Carpenter's iconic music for the Halloween series? Do you thrill to the unforgettable stabs of the Psycho score, or the pounding synth of Goblin's soundtrack to Suspiria? Do you find yourself being pulled into the hair-raising modern scores for the likes of Get Out, Hereditary, and The Witch?

You're not alone.

Blood on Black Wax is a defining horror soundtrack volume that spotlights iconic franchises such as A Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Jaws, The Exorcist, and George A. Romero's Dead films, highlighting both the music and the amazing, often rare artwork that graces the record sleeves. It also tells the stories behind the soundtrack, from the mouths of the musicians who made them, including John Carpenter, Fabio Frizzi, Christopher Young, Harry Manfredini, Charles Bernstein, Pino Donaggio, John Harrison, and more.

Aaron Lupton and Jeff Szpirglas, both of Rue Morgue magazine, have curated Blood on Black Wax to reflect their own passion for the darkest slabs of soundtrack music. Their journey into the fascinating history of horror movie scores contains reviews, release details, and wild stories about both renown and unusual releases everything from the orchestral sounds of Hammer and Universal horror, to the truly experimental albums for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Eraserhead, to the outlandish punk and metal songs of '80s soundtrack albums like The Return of the Living Dead and Shocker.

Go back to your favorite horror films one more time, through the jaw-dropping, spine-tingling music that helped solidify their place in cinematic history!

Fourth issue of the Blank Forms journal
Notes: Taking its name from Maryanne Amacher's visionary, unrealized opera, the fourth issue of Blank Forms' journal, Intelligent Life, features a select group of unpublished, newly translated, or otherwise rare texts. The issue opens with a short literary essay by the author Marcia Douglas, in which a deep bass riddim guides a deaf narrator and a reincarnated Bob Marley through important sites in Rastafarianism's development. Next come two interviews with crucial figures in postwar avant-garde music: the Japanese guitarist Kazuo Imai and the American composer Robert Ashley, along with pianist and frequent collaborator "Blue" Gene Tyranny. The previously unpublished interview with Imai was conducted by Blank Forms' editor and artistic director Lawrence Kumpf during Imai's first trip to the United States, in 2018, and finds the artist reflecting on recent work with the collective Marginal Consort as well as his foundational experiences playing with two other titans of Japanese experimentalism, Takehisa Kosugi and Masayuki Takayanagi. The interview with Ashley and "Blue" Gene, meanwhile, first published in German in 1984 on the occasion of a staging of Ashley's opera Atalanta, was translated for the first time into in English for this publication.

Intelligent Life continues with a series of longer pieces showcasing a diverse set of complex practices and histories, beginning with that of Detroit-based artist Onyx Ashanti. Onyx contributes his own Octavia Butler-referencing "sonocybernetic manifesto", first published online in 2016, which exists simultaneously as theoretical treatise, memoir, and practical guide to his idiosyncratic technology-based practice. Following this is a comprehensive essay on Catherine Christer Hennix's engagement with intuitionism and other esoteric approaches to math, written by the mathematician and musician Spencer Gerhardt. Gerhardt's lucid, previously unpublished essay serves as a necessary complement to Blank Forms Editions' forthcoming collection of Hennix's abstruse, mostly unpublished body of writing, Poesy Matters and Other Matters. The issue continues with a sort of titular essay, a rich analysis of Amacher's "Intelligent Life" -- the first such piece on this work -- by Amacher scholar Amy Cimini. Intelligent Life was an incredibly prescient work that sought to upend any remaining vestiges of traditional operatic form and staging. Intelligent Life -- the journal issue -- then concludes with a lengthy interview with the artist Walter De Maria. One of the few interviews De Maria gave in his lifetime, this one, created for the Archives of American Art in 1972, sheds significant light on De Maria's early intellectual and artistic development as well as his work as a musician. Although he largely stopped playing music by 1970, and although few recordings of his efforts exist, De Maria played alongside musicians ranging from Lou Reed to Don Cherry to Henry Flynt. Edited by Lawrence Kumpf. Other contributors and featured artists include: Werner Durand, Peter Gente, Heidi Paris, Adrian Rew, Paul Cummings.

Book documenting the New York hardcore scene between 1980-1990
Notes: Known for its glamorous 1970s punk rock scene, New York City matched the grim urban reality of the 1980s with a rawer musical uprising: New York hardcore. As bands of misfits from across the region gravitated to the forgotten frontier of Manhattan's Lower East Side. With a backdrop of despair, bands like Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Murphy's Law, and Youth of Today confronted their reality with relentlessly energetic gigs at CBGB, A7, and the numerous squats in the area.

Tony Rettman's ambitious oral history captures ten years of struggling, including the scene's regional rivalries with D.C. and Boston, the birth of moshing, the clash and coming to terms of hardcore and heavy metal, the straightedge movement, and the unlikely influence of Krishna consciousness.

With a foreword by Freddy Cricien of Madball, who made his stage debut with Agnostic Front at age seven, NYHC slams the sidewalk with savage tales of larger-than-life characters and unlikely feats of willpower. The gripping and sometimes hilarious narrative is woven together like the fabric of New York itself from over 100 original interviews with members of Absolution, Adrenalin O.D., Agnostic Front, Antidote, Bad Brains, Bloodclot, Bold, Born Against, Breakdown, Cause for Alarm, Citizen Arrest, Cro-Mags, Crumbsuckers, Death Before Dishonor, Even Worse, False Prophets, Don Fury, Gorilla Biscuits, H20, Heart Attack, Inhuman, Into Another, Irate, Judge, Kraut, Leeway, Life's Blood, Major Conflict, Max's Kansas City, Murphy's Law, Nausea, Nihilistics, Nuclear Assault, Numskulls, Outburst, Pro-Pain, Quicksand, Rat Cage Records, Raw Deal, Reagan Youth, Rorschach, S.O.D., Sacrilege, Savage Circle, Sheer Terror, Shelter, Shok, Sick of it All, Side by Side, Skinhead Youth, Straight Ahead, the Abused, the Cryptcrashers, the Mad, the Misfits, the Misguided, the Mob, the Psychos, the Ritz, the Stimulators, the Undead, Token Entry, Underdog, Urban Waste, Virus, Warzone, Youth of Today, and many, many more.

Walearic Disc Guide (by Shotaro Matsumoto) (Japanese text)
Notes: This guide book features various albums recorded & produced in Japan, ranged from Easy Listening, Mood Music, New Age, Ambient, Pops, Rock, Disco, New Wave, Movie OST till Cartoon OST. Under the supervision of Shotaro Matsumoto who is a famous store manager of Coconut Disc record shop, 10 writers introduce about 600 discs."Walearic" is a word coined by Matsumoto, connecting "Wa"(means "Japanese" in Japanese) and "Balearic" club music established in Ibiza, Spain through '00s. As a matter of fact, Walearic is not exactly the same as Balearic. Matsumto was inspired by the vague concept of Balearic which crossovers any genres, and coined the new genre Walearic under his own aesthetics.

As you may know, the demand for Japanese vinyls recorded in 70s & 80s has been rising among the collectors worldwide. This guide book will be the ultimate tool for them to dig the discs.

Mechanical Fantasy Box: The Homoerotic Journals of Patrick Cowley
Notes: Mechanical Fantasy Box is Cowley's homoerotic journal, or as he called it, "graphic accounts of one man's sex life." The journal begins in 1974 and ends in 1980 on his 30th birthday. It chronicles his slow rise to fame from lighting technician at The City Disco to crafting a ground-breaking 16-minute remix of Donna Summer's "I Feel Love" to performing with Sylvester at the SF Opera House. Vivid descriptions are told of cruising in '70s SoMA sex venues to primal highs in Buena Vista Park and composing pornophonics in his Castro apartment. The entries are introspective and show a very out-front, alive person going through the throes of gay liberation post-Stonewall.
French-born artist and Berlin resident Gwenael Rattke works in collage, silkscreen, photography and Xerox graphics. Rattke's collage works borrow from the visual codes of the 60s and 70s. Intricate, ornamental and excessive, they present "an imagined past fired with beauty and sexual freedom." For this book Rattke created 25 original illustrations inspired by selected entries, 3 street maps documenting locations mentioned herein and 4 collages of photos, ephemera and notes Patrick stuffed inside the journal. We've included Patrick's doodles too, as well as introductory essays by Josh Cheon, Theresa McGinley and Jorge Socarras.
