Tascam MZ223 Zone Mixer Tascam MZ223 Zone Mixer Tascam MZ223 Zone Mixer Tascam MZ223 Zone Mixer Tascam MZ223 Zone Mixer
Cat: 681412 Rel: 06 Jun 18 • View all Studio mixers

Powerful multi-channel, multi-zone mixer housed in a compact 2U design
Notes: The TASCAM MZ-223 offers versatile multi-zone audio routing, mixing, and segregation of several audio sources simultaneously. Source content can include music, spoken word (microphone), phonograph, and more and are easily controlled via familiar sliders and assignment controls on the front panel. Designed for easy integration in virtually any system, the TASCAM MZ-223 is ideal for small format install applications such as moderate sized hotels, restaurants, meeting rooms, schools, or any situation that demands independently routed audio.

Flexible I/O:

The MZ-223 allows multiple audio sources to be mixed, segregated, and routed to three (3) independent zones or destinations using familiar volume sliders and assignment buttons. Input signals can be inserted via five (5) audio channels, each consisting of two (2) sets of unbalanced RCA-type stereo pairs. A total of ten (10) sets of RCA-type inputs are provided. Channels one and two can be set to accommodate phono-level signals for use with a turntable. In addition, located conveniently on the front panel, two mic-compatible XLR inputs are available.

Multiple Zone Outputs:

The independent three-zone outputs each have a combination of balanced professional XLR or RCA unbalanced configurations for long runs or connection to common residential power amplifiers or speakers. This flexibility, for example, allows music to be routed to zone one, ambient noise or natural sounds to zone two, a separate music track or a voice announcement can be routed to zone three, while the convenient "talkover" function will automatically lower any mixed channel source so the microphone can be heard while speaking.

Easy, Immediate Control:

Familiar volume sliders, routing switches/buttons, EQ knobs, and mute buttons for the microphones make the MZ-223 simple and fast to operate and set up. There is even a master recording stereo output, which can send audio to an external recorder which makes event capturing easy. The TASCAM MZ-223 delivers simple operation and maximum audio routing flexibility, all in a compact, affordable package.

Behringer Odyssey Analogue Synthesizer
Cat: 688740 Rel: 19 Jun 20 • View all Synthesisers

analog synthesiser
Notes: Behringer's tribute to the ARP Odyssey is a pleasingly retro instrument. Fully analogue duophonic goodness with that classic tough ARP sound, great for bass and leads.

Supplier notes:
An ultra-affordable homage to the legendary ARP* synthesizer of the '70s and beyond with all the features of the original and then some including: dual VCOs; 32-step sequencer with onboard storage; arpeggiator and world-class Klark Teknik FX that boast reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, pitch shifter and multi-effects, the ODYSSEY lets you conjure up virtually any sound with incredible finesse and ease. With its 37 semi-weighted full-size keys, pure analog signal path based on authentic VCO, VCF and VCA designs from the '70s, the ODYSSEY is sure to become your favorite keyboard. Owning the ODYSSEY is like having your own personal time machine, enabling you to embrace the past - or make your imprint on the future!

Great care has been taken in engineering the ODYSSEY, including the true to the original analog circuitry, legendary VCO, VCF and VCA designs, all of which combine to make it easy to recreate the classic sound performance. This highly-focused attention to detail is what gives the ODYSSEY its ultra-flexible sound shaping capability, which covers everything from super-fat bass and lead tones to stunning effects - and all the way out to the otherworldly sounds of your imagination.

The inspired synthesizer tracks laid down in the 1970s are etched in the annals of progressive rock, disco and synth-pop music forever, making them truly classic in every sense of the word. The ODYSSEY lets you recreate all of that magic - or design incredibly fat and original sounds that will make you a legend in your own right!

ODYSSEY's 2 voices are the product of dual analog Voltage Controlled Oscillators (VCOs), which each provide your choice of: sawtooth, square/pulse with pulse-width modulation, or sine/square wave LFO for sculpting the perfect sound. This amazing flexibility gives you the tools needed to be your creative best.

The very heart of ODYSSEY's sound is its highly-flexible Voltage Control Filter (VCF), which includes faders for: Frequency; Resonance (0 to self-oscillation); and High Pass Filter (HPF) Cutoff Frequency. A feature missing from the original is a new 3-position switch, which lets you choose the VCF filter you prefer from all 3 iterations of the famous synth: 2-pole MKI (4023); 4-pole MKII (4035); and 4-pole MKIII (4075), plus a Drive switch to add a touch of edge to your sound.

ODYSSEY features two easy-to-use Envelope Generators, AR (Attack and Release) and ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain and Release) with 2 and 4 faders, respectively to help you craft incredible sounds. Switches are provided for ADSR Gate/LFO Repeat, AR Gate/LFO Repeat or thirdly, Keyboard Repeat/Auto Repeat - which provides a wide range of performance options.

ODYSSEY's sequencer allows you to program up to 32 steps of notes and rests and save them as a pattern. You can record, save and recall up to 64 patterns, all of which can be stored in the 8 banks, each holding up to 8 patterns. Your sequences can be played either in Keyboard mode, where you create and store the pattern, or in Step mode, which allows you to interact while composing the pattern. The onboard Arpeggiator features 8 patterns (you can use just by playing a chord, which the arpeggiator then sequences through your selected pattern. Both the sequencer and arpeggiator in the ODYSSEY are fun, mesmerizing and totally addictive.

For those who want the numbers, ODYSSEY has 35 sliders, 25 switches and 3 pressure-sensitive buttons, all laid out in a highly-intuitive format that puts the joy back into your music creation. Input and output connections include: MIDI In and Out over USB/MIDI DIN; Pedal; Portamento Footswitch; Low and High Outputs; External Audio In; CV In and Out; Gate In and Out, and Phones with a dedication Volume control.

In addition to the great sound-sculpting features already mentioned, ODYSSEY has still more to offer. There's the pink/white noise generator with sample & hold plus lag processor; Portamento, which lets you sweep seamlessly over time from one note to the next, creating smooth-as-silk transitions that few other instruments can emulate; and the 3 pressure-sensitive buttons for pitch and modulation control that provide a total hands-on performance. ODYSSEY is the ideal tone-making machine for creating sounds that run the gamut - from mild to wild!

Tiptop Audio Z-DSP VC Digital Signal Processor 24 Bit/Variable Clock Module (white)
Cat: 688915 Rel: 25 Jun 18 • View all Synth modules

Open-source, cartridge-based, digital sound processing & generating platform
Notes: Tiptop Audio's Z-DSP is a cartridge-based open source digital sound processing and effects generating platform for your modular synthesizer. Lush audio processing, greater stereo depth and a unique set of digital synthesis is what the Z-DSP is all about.

The Z-DSP has a stereo digital sound processor with 24-bit sampling, 15kHz of bandwidth, voltage-controlled parameters of stereo feedback, program switching, DSP parameters, equal power crossfading dry/wet mixing, as well as sequential program control switching and a clear display - all in Eurorack format. A dedicated clocking input for the DSP chip does wonders to passing sound by bending the algorithms in an unexpected way, a hardware technique computer plugins can't do and is unique to the Z-DSP.

In a recent update, the Z-DSP (NS) got an all new design of its analogue circuitry, contributing to a lower noise signal path, clearer sound of the entire frequency range, lower distortion and better immunity to noise emitted by other modules sharing the same power supply. A new analogue dry/wet circuit has been implemented to remove the 3db gain drop when the mix knob passes through the centre of the dial making the use of this function more practical in a live application. A reverse polarity protection has been added as well. The new front-panel matches Tiptop's colourful design, and a single printed circuit board and surface mount technology improve reliability during production and use. The powerful Z-DSP engine remains the same as the original Z-DSP module and all cards are compatible across both versions.

An assortment of interchangeable cards, programmed by Tiptop Audio and specialists like Valhalla DSP, provide a wide range of boutique effects algorithms such as Halls of Valhalla, Time Fabric, Clocked Delays and Grain De Folie. Tiptop Audio also offers blank Z-DSP cartridges and a development tool called NumberZ for developers, students and power users who want to design their own effects and cards with the FV-1 DSP chip programming language. Blank cards can be loaded using programs that are freely available for non-commercial use and can be found in the modular community through online forums. With each card swap, the Z-DSP takes on new effect algorithms, changing like a digital chameleon and bringing colourful digital effects processing to your Eurorack setup.

The Z-DSP comes included with 2 cards: Halls of Valhalla and Dragonfly Delay MKII.

Dual cassette deck for playing, dubbing, or recording 1 or 2 cassettes
Notes: TASCAM's new 202mkVII dual cassette deck is the latest generation of the company's professional cassette recorders. Coveted for their reliable performance, comprehensive feature set, and audio quality, the 202 series has long been the leading choice for recording studios, houses of worship, audio/music enthusiasts, and other professional applications.

The 202mkVII's most noteworthy new feature is a rear-panel USB output that enables recording and archiving cassettes to digital media. A front-panel 1/4-inch, high-impedance microphone input with dedicated level control enables live input to be mixed with Tape 1 audio and recorded, in real time, to Tape 2 for karaoke and voiceover applications. The mic input also can accept line-level signals. In addition to the USB output, the rear panel provides stereo analogue line-level input and output on unbalanced RCA connectors. A 1/4-inch stereo headphone output with dedicated level knob is conveniently located on the front of the unit.

The dual twin-head cassette decks can record and play back independently, including recording simultaneously to create two tapes with the same source. Among other applications, this enables simultaneous creation of a master tape and a copy for distribution, skipping the need to duplicate the master tape. The two decks also provide real-time dubbing at the touch of one button. Tape 1 offers pitch control (+/-12%) and Tape 2 has a Return to Zero function.

The TASCAM 202mkVII offers two playback modes. Normal playback, as expected, routes sound to the line outputs and headphone output. In Special playback mode, you can monitor the sound from one tape using headphones, while the other tape plays through the line outputs, making it easy to cue another tape. A noise-reduction feature (the equivalent of Dolby B) reduces hiss during playback.

The 3U rack-mountable, professional tape deck supports recording and playback of Type I (normal) and Type II (chrome) cassette tapes, as well as playback with Type IV (metal) tapes. A dedicated wireless remote control is included.

Flame 4 Vox Quad Polyphonic Wavetable Oscillator Module (silver)
Flame 4 Vox Quad Polyphonic Wavetable Oscillator Module (silver) (LFO/oscillator/quad/digital/MIDI synth module)
Cat: 690791 Rel: 30 May 18 • View all Synth modules

Quad polyphonic wavetable oscillator with 4 voices per VCO - 29HP
Notes: The 4Vox is a quad wavetable oscillator with up to four voices per VCO, resulting in a maximum of 16 voices at four individual outputs. With the MIDI In, the module can be played both with CVs and directly via MIDI, which also allows for modulating some additional parameters. There are 39 memory locations for wavetables and 32 for all global parameters of the VCOs.

The parameters of a wavetable can be controlled by CVs and by MIDI. For instance, you can morph through a wavetable with a CV, a MIDI controller or manually with the potentiometer. The range of waves within a wavetable can be selected by minimum and maximum values individually per voice which allows for creating more complex morphs.

Further controllable parameters are Detune, Semitone, Octave, Chord, Portamento, Amplitude and Amp Move (90 degrees phase shifted volume modulation of a VCO's 4 voices). Min and max values can be selected for those parameters as well. Via MIDI it's possible to control further parameters (notes, chords, pitch bend, patch selection and wavetable selection).

The VCOs can be played analogue (frequency by Pitch CV input), monophonic via MIDI or 4-voice polyphonic via MIDI.

The VCO can be used as a voltage controllable LFO with 3 modes: loop, one shot and gates. The SYNC input is used to trigger/reset the LFO. In one shot mode the LFO can be used as a trigger delay, too (SYNC = trigger in, GATE = trigger output, PITCH = delay time).

Each VCO has an analogue 1V/octave input including a fine tune control (+/-1 semitone) and pitch control (approx. 10 octaves), two freely assignable CV inputs, two freely assignable potentiometers, a trigger input for Sync/LFO-reset as well as a Gate and VCO/LFO output

The display can show a graphic of the selected waveforms.

All global parameters and also the VCO's settings can be named and saved as a non-volatile patch by the user. 32 memory locations are available.

Flame Quad CV Recorder 4-Channel CV Recorder/Looper/Lo-Fi-Sampler Module
Flame Quad CV Recorder 4-Channel CV Recorder/Looper/Lo-Fi-Sampler Module (controller/CV modulation/LFO/sampling/quad module)
Cat: 690792 Rel: 30 May 18 • View all Synth modules

4-channel CV recorder, looper & lo-fi sampler module - 14HP
Notes: The QUAD CV RECORDER is a four-track cv recorder/looper that lets you record and play back voltage changes from various sources in 16-bit resolution allowing for smooth progressions even at very slow playback speed.
The recording time can extend to an hour depending on your synchronization and it's easily possible to do punch in/out recordings during performance.
You can sync the module via clock or MIDI.

The QUAD CV RECORDER features 4 independent tracks for recording and playing back control voltages i.e. analog sequences, envelopes or controller movements from external sources and/or movements of the rotary knobs ( pots ) on the front panel.
Control voltages can be recorded in either range -5V/+5V or 0/+9V, individually adjustable per track. All recordings and settings are automatically saved and will be readily available the next time you turn on your modular system.
ZOOM is a two stage fine adjust function of the control ruler.
When recording movements of a pot you can use the ZOOM function during playback to 'zoom' into the current position of the knob ( in this case the position in the recording time ).
A smaller segment of the recording will then be mapped to the rotation range of the knob, giving you a finer control over this portion of the recording.
The start and end positions of a recording can be changed at any time as well as the playback speed.
Smoothing algorithms eliminate the so-called 'stair-step effect' and ensure smooth playback even at very slow speeds.
You can play back each track either by hand, pressing the respective PLAY button or using Gate or MIDI start/stop.
Playback modes are LOOP, SINGLE, GATE ( while Gate is on ) and SCAN which lets you move freely through the recording, forwards or backwards ( controlled by an external LFO for instance ) or jump to random points in recording time.
Each track can be synced separately by clock trigger or MIDI clock.
The QUAD CV RECORDER recognizes the clock (ticks per bar) automatically.
It is possible to make a one hour long recording on each track with a MIDI clock of 96 ticks per bar.
The settings HARD/SOFT provide different degrees of smoothing of synchronization.
The LINK button allows for simplified multitrack recording:
ALL combines all 4 tracks controlled through track 1, DUAL combines the track pairs 1+2 and 3+4 which might be handy for use with controllers that generate voltage pairs, like joysticks etc.
Future software updates can be easily performed via MIDI sysex dump.
A MIDI adapter is provided with the unit.

Multi-purpose analogue effects unit featuring dual BBD chips
Notes: Brilliant desktop/stompbox effect unit based on Erica's excellent Fusion module series. Delay, chorus, drive and vintage ensemble effects all based around BBD chips and valves for analogue goodness.

Supplier's notes:
Erica Synths Fusionbox is a distinct multifunctional analogue effects unit that combines BBD chip-based effects - delay, flanger, chorus - with tube overdrive in the delay output and feedback path for extra thickness of sound.

Fusion Box lowpass filtering is fully adjustable from none to extreme for a really deep bass sound. A special feature, not found in other contemporary stompboxes or effect units, is the Vintage Stereo Ensemble.

The Vintage Stereo Ensemble provides the classic "stereo ensemble" effect, found on many vintage synthesizers from almost any brand and make. In stereo ensemble effect, the delayed, processed and filtered sound is added back to the dry (mono) audio with inverted phase for one channel, and direct phase in the other. This gives it the distinct and unique moving character, different from that obtained with chorus effects. However, use of inverted phase in stereo field also adds certain peculiarities to watch out for. For example, when such stereo audio is played back on an older "surround" decoding sound system, ensemble effect sound may move to the rear sound channel. Also, if the output gets mixed back to mono, the effect may disappear. This also applies to mono subwoofer systems, or speakers that are placed too close. This is normal, and occurs with any similar vintage stereo ensemble processing. In this case and if such oddities are undesirable, to avoid mono mixing issues, you can choose to use only one of the output channels, or use two separate ensemble processors for left and right channels.

Fusionbox has adjustable input gain, therefore it works with various sound sources - guitars, units with line level signals (synthesizers, grooveboxes, etc.) and modular synths. Footswitch allows to switch on or bypass effects making Fusionbox ideal for guitar players.

Allen & Heath ZED-10FX Multi-Purpose Studio Mixer Allen & Heath ZED-10FX Multi-Purpose Studio Mixer Allen & Heath ZED-10FX Multi-Purpose Studio Mixer
Cat: 431968 Rel: 17 May 12 • View all Studio mixers

Multipurpose mixer with FX for live sound and recording.
Notes: Ten-channel version of one of the most cost-effective mixers on the market. Great sound, good EQ and handy built-in effects. Check out the 12-channel version if you prefer faders for level control.

Supplier's notes:
The Allen & Heath ZED-10FX mixer is an amazing little desk for small band mixing. It is ultra portable for carrying to the gig, and can be used for recording live or in the studio. It comes with configurable USB audio in/out making it easy to capture stereo recordings.

Guitars can be plugged in directly to the mixer using the specially designed high-impedance inputs, while the mixer has two stereo inputs for MP3/CD players or keyboards. Equipped with professional XLR stereo outputs and a flexible monitoring section with headphone and speaker feed outputs. We've added a set of fabulous effects to give shimmering reverbs and enhance your sound.

USB AUDIO FLEXIBILITY
Getting audio to and from a computer easily is now a common requirement for live sound and music production. The way this has been implemented on ZED is super-flexible and super-easy! No longer do you need to fiddle around the back of your PC to get to the soundcard inputs, only to find that the levels are all wrong and noisy. Just plug in a USB lead to your ZED, select the USB routing on the mixer and the device on your computer and that's it! CD quality audio to and from your PC or Mac. Switches and connection through jack socket terminals provide different send/return configurations:-

SEND OPTIONS:
1) Main Mix Left + Right (Post master Level)

2) Aux + FX bus (Aux is a pre-fade send, FX is a post-fade send)

3) Record Bus Left + Right (Separate stereo bus to Main Mix)

RETURN OPTIONS:
1) To Playback input (through jack socket break contacts)

2) To Stereo 2 channel (through jack socket break contacts)

ZED-10FX features a responsive 3-band, swept mid frequency EQ design which utilises MusiQ - with optimised slope (or Q factor) for equalising individual instruments.

ZED-10FX has an essential selection of 16 time-delay effects, designed for small groups who don't want to carry around an effects unit with their gear but who still want great quality FX at their gigs and on their recordings. Our DSP engineers worked hard, crafting and refining beautiful reverb algorithms to enhance every performance. These effects are available nowhere else at this price point - this quality and integration is only available from the ZED-FX. ZED effects are easily controlled using 3 buttons with 9 display LEDs. For example, the ideal delay time can be quickly tapped-in, or the perfect amount of reverb on the lead vocal can be dialled-in. There is one-stop navigation and editing - in fact, it's just as easy as using effects pedals. To alter effects parameters, the TAP button is held down and the up/down buttons pressed to adjust the specific parameter for that effect, for example, the decay length on PLATE, or the depth on CHORUS.

ZED-10FX's pre-amps are similar in design to our MixWizard range of mixers, but with a twist! Inputs 3 & 4 have a high impedance jack input capable of taking either a normal line level or a low level input from a guitar pickup. These newly designed inputs have been crafted with the aim of replicating the sound of a classic guitar or instrument tube pre-amp in a combo or head amp. An extremely high input impedance ensures loading on pick-ups is minimal and a Class A FET (field effect transistor) circuit powered from 48V is employed to give the valve-like gain stage. There is a gain "Boost" switch associated with the guitar inputs which boosts gain by 26dB to cater for instruments with very low level outputs and the overdrive characteristics of the guitar inputs are very similar to a valve (tube) circuit, being asymmetric and soft. All this makes for a wonderfully natural sound to be reproduced from the instrument, full of warmth and character.

The ZED-10FX is bundled with IK Multimedia's AmpliTube X-GEAR software, giving access to superbly modelled amps and effects.

Dual vintage state variable filters - silver faceplate
Notes: The Gemini 2412 is a creamy, extremely fat sounding dual filter based on vintage Oberheim SEM circuits. In addition to high-pass, band-pass and low-pass, there is the infamous variable filter type, which allows you to blend between several characteristics. Thanks to its dual concept, serial and parallel modes of operation and an ingenious modulation system, the Gemini 2412 should not only be able to achieve classic, extremely bulbous results, but also wafting stereo effects and lively formant sounds.

Cat: 698446 Rel: 09 Aug 18 • View all Synth modules

Four-band equaliser, reverb/delay, maximiser & exciter in Eurorack modular format - silver faceplate
Notes: Perfect for adding that final touch to a modular patch, the AJHSynth Finaliser R-EQ module includes seven Mono / Stereo reverb types, along with a four band equaliser and a Sonic Maximiser / Enhancer.

The Reverb, EQ and Maximiser can be used in Mono IN, Mono OUT mode or Mono IN, Stereo OUT modes. The reverb alone can also be used in Stereo IN / Stereo OUT mode too.

The fully analogue four band Equaliser includes three parametric equalisers for Low, Low Mid and High Mid ranges, and the High EQ has switchable shelving of either 2kHz or 5kHz. The Low EQ also includes a shelving mode.

The Maximiser is a fully analogue circuit too, with low and high treatment bands which change the phase and amplitude relationships of the sound to add punch and harmonics and really bring the sound to life in the mix.

The Reverb engine is based on 20 year old DSP technology, harking back to the reverb units which were used extensively on many synth and EDM tracks a couple of decades ago. We have added full control of reverb wet / dry mix, either manually or under CV control.

WMD Protostar Envelope Filter Pedal WMD Protostar Envelope Filter Pedal
Cat: 698454 Rel: 21 Sep 18 • View all Effects pedals

Filter pedal featuring four filter types
Notes: The Protostar's filter is a multimode circuit with a slope of -12 dB or -24 dB per octave and four characteristics, in detail low-pass, band-pass, high-pass and notch.
Values for the cutoff frequency and resonance can be set manually. Additionally, the cutoff can be modulated by the integrated LFO, an Envelope Follower or the control voltage input.

The LFO comes with parameters for speed and modulation depth, both are controllable via CV inputs. The LFO signal can be tapped off another jack of the Protostar's patch bay.
The Envelope Follower is editable in its threshold as well as attack and release times.

The ladder share one potentiometer. A bipolar knob alters the modulation value applied to the cutoff frequency. Again, the signal of the Envelope Follower can be tapped off the patch bay, but here you have two connectors for normal and inverted phase. Using the sidechain input, musicians can run external audio signals trough the Envelope Follower.

The Protostar's compressor comes with knobs for work intensity and the dry/wet mix.
Send and Return jacks allow to tie-in an external effect. Furthermore, an expression pedal can be connected to the unit. Thanks to the patch bay, it is possible to combine the foot controller with several parameters. Last but not least, the Protostar contains a feedback loop, which can only be influenced by control voltages.

KNOBS

Attack - How fast the envelope will react
to the incoming signal. Controls both
attack and release.

Threshold - How sensitive the envelope is to the
incoming signal.

Env Amt - Attenuverter that controls how much
the envelope will affect the frequency of
the filter, either negatively or positively.

Resonance - Synonomous with feedback or Q,
this is a boost of the frequencies around the
frequency cutoff.

Freq - Also known as cutoff, this knob's
position dictates the resting place of the
frequency cutoff.

LFO Rate - Make the LFO go faster or slower
with this knob.

LFO Amt - How much the LFO will affect the
frequency cutoff.

Compression - End of chain compressor squashes
the wet signal to suppress unwanted honks, and
resonant oddities.

Dry / Wet - Amount of unaffected vs. affected signal
coming through the output.

Sidechain - Direct input to the envelope follower.
Normalled to the input, use this to have the
envelope follow an external source.

Exp Out - Output for the expression pedal
input. Exp isn't connected to any control
internally and must be patched.

- Env Out - Always sending +5V until the
envelope is triggered, bringing the voltage
down to 0V and back.

+ Env Out - Sends a CV signal following the
envelope. Signal is 0V to +5V.

LFO Out - Constantly sends the triangle
wave LFO CV signal, reacts to LFO rate knob.

LFO Rate - CV input for control over LFO rate.
Sensitivity adjustable with internal trim pot.

LFO Amt - CV input for control over LFO amt.

Freq - CV Input for control over cutoff frequency.

Feedback - CV input for control over resonance.

Expression Input (back panel) - Plug a TRS
cable from any expression pedal into this, patch
the exp out to what you want to contol, and
express yourself.

Class-D amplifier with 6000 watts output
Notes: The NX range of power amplifiers pack large Wattages into exceptionally lightweight and rack-mountable packages. And because the NX range is so much more efficient than conventional designs, they run cooler and don't require the massive heat sinks and heavy toroid transformers typically associated with their conventional counterparts. Thanks to our 'Zero-Attack' limiters that offer maximum output level with exceptionally-reliable overload protection and SmartSense Loudspeaker impedance compensation, which provides fully linear frequency response at any speaker load impedance, you can run the NX range full-out for hours on-end. Our revolutionary high-density Class-D technology, combined with an ultra-efficient, switch-mode power supply ensure these feather-light powerhouses will drive your rig effortlessly for many years to come.

Thanks to our High-Density Class-D amplifier Technology, we are able to provide you with enormous power and incredible sonic performance in an easy-to-use, ultra-portable and lightweight package. Class-D amplification makes all the difference, offering the ultimate in energy efficiency and eliminating the need for heavy power supplies and massive heat sinks. This amazing technology makes it possible to design and build extremely powerful products that are significantly lighter in weight than their traditional counterparts, while using less energy and protecting the environment.

The front panel controls and indicators provide your systems vital signs at a glance. After pressing the Power button, the Power LED lights to show the amp is ready for action. All channels feature positive-detent Gain controls with Signal LEDs that light when a signal is present, as well as Limit LEDs to indicate when the amplifier is running at full capacity. Just as elegant as the front, the rear panel is home to the combo XLR and 1/4" TRS Input connectors, making the NX range compatible with virtually any source, balanced or unbalanced. Professional twist-lock speaker sockets are provided to ensure every drop of output power gets to your loudspeakers.

The rear panel is also where you'll find the switches that enable the NX amp range to run in your choice of dual mono, stereo or mono bridge modes. The ranges built-in Crossover switch sets the amp to Full-Range mode, where the output is sent unfiltered to your loudspeakers, or Bi-amp mode, which sends only the low-frequency content (<100 Hz) to passive subwoofers, while the high-frequency content (>100 Hz) is channelled to your full-range loudspeakers.

Our new SmartSense Technology puts the punch back into Class-D amplification, providing vastly improved full-range frequency response with more powerfully-dynamic bass, and smoother high-frequency reproduction. The resulting output is no longer dependent on the actual load, but is rendered perfectly ruler flat via impedance compensation. NX's design also incorporates a significantly-higher damping factor that yields better amplifier control over the loudspeaker for stronger audio reproduction especially in the LF area.

Sporting massive output ratings, lightweight Class-D technology and an equally lightweight price tag plus all the amenities a professional audio engineer could ask for the BEHRINGER NX range of power amplifiers are serious amps for your most demanding applications.

Verbos Electronics Multi-Envelope Dual Envelope Generator Module (silver)
Verbos Electronics Multi-Envelope Dual Envelope Generator Module (silver) (envelope generator/function generator/dual/stereo synth module)
Cat: 700723 Rel: 28 Aug 18 • View all Synth modules

Dual multi-envelope generator - 22HP
Notes: Reimagining the envelope generator, several shapes of 4 stage functions are available simultaneously on each of the two parts in the Multi-Envelope. From the same set of controls and voltage control inputs, each shape has its own dedicated output. All at the same time... Delay Attack Decay Sustain Release, Attack Hold Decay Sustain Release, Delay Attack Hold Release and (on the upper generator) Attack Decay Attack Release. End pulse outs allow chaining and looping. Gate and Trigger inputs can be used alone or together to control re-trigger characteristics. The "shape" control blends continuously from linear ramps to RC curves typical of East Coast Synthesis, without changing the overall time. The upper generator also has gate outs that are high during each stage.

Cat: 700724 Rel: 07 Sep 18 • View all Synth modules

Stereo mixer & scanner module with VC panning & scan center/width - 14HP
Notes: In a minuscule amount of space, the Scan & Pan provides a 4 channel mixer with voltage control of level and panning. Its signal path is all discrete transistors.

Each channel has a mono input and a gain control. The level can be set manually with a fader and modulated by a CV. Furthermore there's a panning function with a manual potentiometer for determinig the channel's panorama position and a CV input for modulating it.

In the dark highlighted, right part of the module we find the L and R outputs as well as the scanning function:
The "Center" parameter is used for selecting a channel, while "width" also selects the adjacent channels.
For instance if channel 2 was selected with center control and remain static, it is possible to fade in and out channels 1 and 3 (or even 4).
It can be interesting to use this function with different waveforms of an oscillator but also with totally different signals. It can be even more exciting if the channels have different panorama positions which means the channels which are faded in appear in different stereo field positions.

Metallic sounds and cymbals drum module - 8HP.
Notes: Crucible is a drum module that specializes in metallic sounds and cymbals and tries to recreate them as realistically as possible.

By using classic digital synthesis blocks such as delay and digital filters, Crucible can synthesise sounds in real time that resemble thinly struck pieces of metal.

Size, Pitch, Tone and Deform give the user the parameters to shape their cymbal as they wish. The Excite control allows the user to change their attack, completely altering Crucible's response. Finally, you can choose where the exciter touches the engine by triggering the EDGE and MID inputs, or trigger both to strike the "bell".

All of this adds up to a lively and dynamic module that completely mimics the feel of playing a real cymbal.

Features:

Realistic sound!
Position-dependent trigger input. Strike the rim, the centre or the bell of the cymbal.
3 model types: Cymbal, Cracked Cymbal and Curved Plate
Audio input for experimental effects

LEP Arpopone Analogue Melody & Bass Line Generator Desktop Synthesiser (aluminium box version)
Cat: 730432 Rel: 11 Jun 19 • View all Synthesisers

Bass line generator with a rhythmic chord section
Notes: The Arpopone from LepLoop is a little synth-voice for generating a melody or bass line and a chord section at the same time. It is based on analog ramp dividers of which each one generates a voltage ramp starting from a master clock that can be internal or external.

Trig1 and Trig2 potentiometers set the number of clock pulses.

With the Trig Mix switch it is possible to select between a single trigger (1 or 2) or both (1+2) to advance the scales.

The Scale Step potentiometer sets the number of steps for the two scale generators.
In the mixer section, the two scales are summed together to obtain a more complex pattern. The amount of each scale can be set by two controls and can be positive (ascending scale) or negative (descending scale).

With the VCO Pitch knob, the melody can be transposed while maintaining the same interval between notes.

The note generated by the VCO is fed to a chain of dividers to obtain four sub harmonics of the original note. One of these is the bass section with its own filter and envelope, the other three form the chord section with their envelope.

The two envelope sections are identical, both have a selector for different trigger sources:

Trig1 & Trig2: the envelope starts at the flash of the green LED (bass) or yellow LED (chord)
SB1 & SB2: the envelope starts at the first step of Scale1 (bass) or Scale2 (chord)
White & Blue: the envelope follows the intensity of the white LED (bass) or the blue LED (chord). Except for this setting the envelope length is set by the two controls Bass ENV and Chord ENV. Additionally, an EXT CV input allows to provide an external envelope.
The bass channel is passed through a resonant low-pass filter with Cutoff and Resonance control.

Finally the Bass and Chord channels are mixed together. The output level is set by the Bass LEV and Chord LEV controls.

Desktop synth with integrated USB/MIDI interface - white with English lettering
Notes: The idea of the Polivoks Mini analog synthesiser came into mind in 1990, as the junior version of its older brother - the well known Polivoks full synth. The aim was to develop a simpler and lighter device that has less components, offers the same broad capabilities, and removes possible flows of the Polivoks full synth. As a result of this research, a new minimalistic schematic appeared. It has fewer controls that are compensated by greater functionality. For example, in the Modulator section the Form switch has been replaced by the controller with triangular oscillation in the middle position and sawtooth shape oscillation smoothly falling in the extreme positions.

The controller for the envelope filter input is set to zero in the middle position and its value increases by turning the knob clockwise, while turning the knob counter-clockwise increases inverse voltage of the envelope generator. The main synthesizer sections, such as generator, famous Polivoks filter and multimode envelope generator, are essentially the same as the Polivoks, and have this unique sound. In addition, the main generator of the Polivoks Mini doesn't require any thermal stabilization or adjustment.

In general, the simplified schematic delivers the sound appreciated by a wide range of musicians with minimal means but new capabilities. The Polivoks Mini is a keyboardless version with integrated USB and MIDI interfaces. The overall design of the Polivoks Mini is made in collaboration with Ms. Olympiada Kuzmina, Polivoks full synth concept designer.

Noise Engineering Cursus Iteritas Magnus 5U Dynamically Generated Wavetable Oscillator Module (15V & 1/4 inch jacks, NOT Eurorack) (black faceplate)
Notes: Cursus Iteritas Magnus is an oscillator that works from a dynamically generated wavetable. It gives the user spectral-like controls over three different modes based on different conceptualizations of frequency: Fourier, which uses sine waves; Daubechies, using wavelets; and Walsh mode, using the Walsh transform. Cursus Iteritas Magnus parametrizes a wide variety of sounds, but because the sounds are all based on orthogonal functions, it has a musical tone structure and can produce an extremely wide variety of harmonic sounds

Rossum Electro-Music Linnaeus Stereo Thru Zero State Variable Filter Module
Cat: 732306 Rel: 09 Sep 19 • View all Synth modules

Stereo thru-zero state-variable VCF - 16HP
Notes: The only module named after a Swedish botanist? Possibly. Relentless synth innovator Dave Rossum pushes the boundaries again with a state-variable stereo filter offering through-zero frequency modulation. Sounds complicated. Sounds good.

Supplier notes:
Following in the tradition of Evolution and Morpheus, LINNAEUS represents yet another Dave Rossum innovation in filter technology.

LINNAEUS is a stereo state-variable filter that provides the unique ability to linearly modulate its resonant frequency through zero into negative frequency, while maintaining stability. With extensive voltage control of nearly every parameter, Linnaeus lets you manipulate the filter's natural response curve in new ways, to create both subtle and dramatic timbral effects. And with a "one-knob-per-parameter" interface, LINNAEUS inspires sonic creativity that invites (and rewards) real-time interaction.

LINNAEUS's cutoff/resonant frequency is exponentially voltage controllable from sub-audio to ultrasonic frequencies, while its resonant gain (Q) is exponentially voltage controllable from 0dB to greater than 60dB.

LINNAEUS's channel output response characteristics are independently and continuously variable from Lowpass, through Bandpass, Highpass and Notch, to Low and High Shelving characteristics. Voltage control of the response characteristics are independently selectable for each of the two channels.

The linear thru-zero modulation is provided by an integrated modulation oscillator and/or an External Linear FM modulation input.

The voltage-controllable modulation oscillator can track the filter's exponential frequency or operate independently. The modulation oscillator's output waveform is continuously variable from Off through Sine, Triangle, and Sawtooth, to Square. The modulation oscillator output is summed with the external linear FM input and applied to the modulation index VCA, which controls the linear thru-zero modulation index from zero to 8X. The modulation index is, of course, also voltage controllable.

Doepfer A-111-4v Quad Precision VCO Vintage Edition Module (black)
Cat: 734878 Rel: 09 Jul 19 • View all Synth modules

Quad precision VCO - 18HP
Notes: A-111-4 contains four precision VCOs and has individual controls, inputs and outputs for each VCO available as well as a common control and output unit. After all the A-111-4 is very similar to four A-111-3 without LFO mode but built in output mixers for the three waveforms, and a master unit for all four VCOs.

Controls, inputs and outputs for each of the four VCOs:

- 1V/Octave CV input
- Octave switch (+1 / 0 / -1 octave)
- Tune control (range internally adjustable by jumpers: ~ 2 semitones / ~ 1 octave / ~ 4 octaves)
- Modulation CV input
- Modulation destination: Upper position: exponential frequency modulation (XM) / Lower position: linear frequency modulation (LM) or pulsewidth modulation of the rectangle (PM), selectable via internal jumper
- Frequency Modulation (FM) or Pulsewidth Modulation of the rectangle (PWM)
- Modulation intensity
- Triangle output
- Sawtooth output
- Rectangle output (about 50% without external PWM)
- Sync input (hard or soft sync internally selectable via jumper, CEM3340 hard sync type)
- CEM3340 based VCO (triangle core)
- Each VCO has it's own separate internal +/- power supply for each for best stability and the prevention of unwanted synchronisation of the VCOs

Controls, inputs and outputs of the master section:

- 1V/Octave CV input
- Octave switch (+1 / 0 / -1 octave)
- Tune control (range internally adjustable by jumpers: 2 semitones / 1 octave / 4 octaves)
- Frequency Modulation CV input (FM)
- FM intensity
- Triangle sum output
- Sawtooth sum output
- Rectangle sum output
- As soon as the single waveform output of a VCO is patched this waveform of the VCO in question is removed from the sum (this function can be turned off for each single output socket by means of solder bridges on the pc board, i.e. the sum contains then all signals independent of the patching of the single output)
- CV output (outputs the sum CV that is used to control all four VCOs)
- Bus CV (via jumper, optional, please remove the bus jumper if this feature is not used to avoid unwanted frequency modulation as then the unused CV line of the bus works as a kind of antenna)

Typical applications:

- Fat sounding monophonic VCO with the possibility to adjust any intervals
- Paraphonic patches in combination with the polyphonic CV interface A-190-5 (all four VCOs processed by one VCF/VCA)
- Full polyphonic patches in combination with the polyphonic CV interface A-190-5 and four complete VCF/VCA sections
- Complex VCO patches with up to four VCOs by means of the frequency modulation features (exponential an linear) and the sync functions

Audio mixer with digital FX & USB audio
Notes: Multipurpose mixer with FX for live sound and recording.

Live or in the studio, ZED60-10FX is an ultra-portable mixer for solo artists and small bands.

Based on our top selling ZED-10FX, the new ZED60-10FX adds premium quality 60mm faders for that intuitive, tactile mixing experience.

This mixer is a guitarist's dream. Two of the 4 mono channels have high impedance jack inputs that can take a normal line level or a low level input from a guitar pickup, so guitars can be plugged straight into the mixer without the need for DI boxes. These inputs have been crafted to recreate the sound of a classic tube preamp in a combo or head amp for incredible definition and warmth. Two stereo inputs are provided for MP3/CD players or keyboards.

ZED60-10FX comes with configurable USB audio in/out, making it easy to capture a stereo recording at the gig or in the studio. The mixer is equipped with professional XLR main stereo outputs, a flexible monitoring section with headphone and speaker feed outputs, and 16 stunning FX.

Most important of all, ZED60-10FX lives up to the audio and build quality standards that have made Allen & Heath one of the most trusted names in professional audio for more than 40 years.

ZED60-10FX features a responsive 3-band British EQ with sweepable mid frequency that is acclaimed for its musicality, even when applying extreme creative or corrective equalisation. All EQ controls have been carefully calibrated for responsiveness and smooth, precise adjustment.

ZED60-10FX has an essential selection of 16 time-delay effects, designed for small groups who don't want to carry around an effects unit with their gear but who still want great quality FX at their gigs and on their recordings.

ZED60-10FX's pre-amps are similar in design to our MixWizard range of mixers, but with a twist!
