Review: Zakk Sabbath, for the uninitiated, is THE definitive Black Sabbath tribute act led by bearded axeman Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society (who also happens to have spent many a year on the road as the touring guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne). Rounding out the trio with bassist Robert "Blasko" Nicholson (Rob Zombie) and drummer Joey Castillo (Queens Of The Stone Age, Danzig), the band are set to unleash their monolithic double LP Doomed Forever Forever Doomed, which sees them tackling 1970's Paranoid and 1971's Master Of Reality back to back. Produced by Wylde himself, expect embellished, fuzzy, massive reimaginings of some of the most quintessential Sabbath hits from 'War Pigs' to 'Iron Man' to 'Planet Caravan' to 'Fairies Wear Boots' to 'Children Of The Grave'. Are you overwhelmed yet, because you should be?

Review: Chelsea Wolfe's latest album, She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She, is a rebirth in process. It's a powerfully cathartic statement about cutting ties, as well as an important reminder that healing is cyclical and circular, and not a simple linear process. From the opening emotes of 'Whispers In The Echo Chamber' - which give electro-gothic Blair-Witchy plods conveyed over lost media - to the closing black-metallic, trip-hop eventide of 'Dusk' - this is everything you could possibly want from a new Wolfe album.

Review: Following on from 2019's muted, folk-leaning Birth Of Violence, as well as the weighty Bloodmoon: I collaborative LP with experimental hardcore heroes Converge, which arrived in 2021; the Wiccan mystic that is Chelsea Wolfe returns with her highly anticipated seventh full-length She Reaches Out To She Reaches Out To She. Shying away from the acoustic or metallic sonics of prior projects in order to embrace a blistering new era of frosted trip-hop, chopped and screwed with industrial tinges, echoing a more ugly, gothic interpretation of Portishead at their most macabre, the endeavour also marks her first since departing long-time label-home Sargent House following a litany of controversies, in favour of the ever-expanding dynamic roster of Loma Vista (HEALTH, Militarie Gun, Soccer Mommy).

Review: No Future No Past offers the most detailed deep dive yet into the lesser known realms of early Finnish speed and thrash metal. Ranging from 1986-1992, at a time when US acts like Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer were becoming controversial household names, the wave had insidiously swept across Europe and inspired an entirely new generation of long-haired metalheads to enter the fray. Compiled from a myriad of long-lost demo tapes and rare 7" singles from numerous proto-pioneers who never made it past the demo stage, the collection boasts choice cuts from the likes of Damage, Vendetta, Catalepsy and even Sacred Crucifix, who would break up and reform almost three times before their debut album eventually landed in 2004.

Review: Originally recorded in 1987, Seventh Day Of Doom was the debut demo/EP from Hungarian black metal outfit Tormentor. Retrospectively adored and newly discovered by many newcomers to the genre due to vocalist Attila Csihar's presence, before he would go on to join Mayhem (who he still continues to front), the project was tracked just one year before their debut full-length Anno Domini. With neither work able to see wide distribution until the end of communist rule in Hungary, the tape-sharing phenomena of the late 80s underground scene would carry Tormentor's abrasive cacophony across country borders and into the ear canals of metalheads with little to no realisation of the history they were taking part in by simply putting on their headphones.

Review: Canadian progressive death metal auteurs Tomb Mold have been relatively inactive since the release of their third full-length Planetary Clairvoyance in 2019. Returning last year with the Aperture Of Body EP, and reigniting listener thirst for head-melting, absurdly psychedelic tech-death, September of 2023 saw the trio announce their fourth album The Enduring Spirit, which would see release just a few days after unveiling. Mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Code Orange, Trapped Under Ice), and accompanied by a statement from the band that detailed how they'd spent the past three years "spiraling in the cycle reincarnate necessity" and revealed that the "myriad of consciousness" has now coalesced into one hive mind. In layman's terms, this is avant-garde, complex, hallucinatory death metal far more interested in challenging our astral purpose within the cosmos than displaying macabre tales of viscera and gore.

Review: Baton Rouge, Louisiana based doom-sludge auteurs Thou have become renowned for their uniquely punishing brand of psych-tinged, heaving, fuzzed-out metal, while their myriad collaborations with the likes of noise-sludge duo The Body has prevented the collective from ever resting on their laurels for long. While most recently working with Mizmor on 2022's Myopia EP, and the two preceding years spent on both the Emma Ruth Rundle full-length May Our Chambers Be Full and companion EP The Helm of Sorrow, it's now been almost six full years since the band released an LP of their sole design. 2018's Magus served as a monolithic, 75 minute statement of artistic despair whilst highlighting the catharsis found in the most crushing of sonics. Featured in the top metal releases of 2018 by Decibel, Noisey, BrooklynVegan and NPR, to name but a few, this limited tan vinyl 2xLP reissue is long overdue, and just might signal the coming signs of new Thou material out on the horizon. Whatever may come, revisit the gargantuan Magus in the meantime.

Review: Originally a digital-only release unveiled back in 2020 with little to no fanfare, Blessings Of The Highest Order served as a compilation of Nirvana covers from Louisiana sludge metal behemoths Thou. No strangers to collaborative projects or cover versions, the band's bevvy of Nirvana renditions stretched from album tribute compilations to lesser known recordings, with some cuts on the tracklist shocking even the most devout and studious of fans. This pressing marks the first time the collection has ever been made available to wax, complete with updated intimidating homo-erotic artwork, while the tracklist avoids the low hanging fruit of the most well known Nirvana singles, instead opting for deeper cuts such as 'Floyd The Barber', 'Milk It', and 'Territorial Pissings'. That isn't to say 'In Bloom' isn't a majorly popular track, but apart from that and perhaps the grinding slow-burn reimagining of 'Something In The Way', this is Nirvana worship for lifers and bruisers.

Review: Following on from 2019's Years Of Aggression, Greek thrash metal behemoths Suicidal Angels return with their highly anticipated eighth full-length Profane Prayer. Led by the incomparable vision of sole founding member Nick Melissourgos, the band's recent signing to metal label titan Nuclear Blast, serves as a gleaming sign of approval for their half-decade gestating opus. Teaming with frenetic riffage echoing the likes of early day Megadeth and Testament, this is thrash fury of a deft, artisanal touch, yet delivered with all of the kaleidoscopic abandon of musicians skilled enough to transcend their genre confines without losing sight of what made said genre so potent all those decades prior.

Reuniting with legendary producer perfectionist GGGarth Richardson (Biffy Clyro, Rage Against The Machine) to help push their style into simultaneously more electronic aggression whilst elevating their melodic scope, the album offers a curious time in the nu-metal landscape where artists were searching for a sonic way out of their restrictive genre confines. Lead single 'Smothered' was also nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance 2004, yet ultimately lost to Metallica's St. Anger.

Review: Nine specially remastered tracks by Sonic Mayhem and Jer Sypult, pressed onto heavyweight discs, from the original soundtrack of the videogame Quake II. Set in a dystopian future world in which an alien race known as the Strogg capture and convert deceased humans as fuel for their horrific war machine, this is first-person shooter music to the max. The bulk of the soundtrack was created by Sascha Dikiciyan aka. Sonic Mayhem, as his first game project among an enviably long credits list. Having caught id Software's ear with an unofficial Quake album (alongside production partner Dave Valencia), Sonic Mayhem went on to develop Quake II's trademark aggro-industrial metal sound, inspired in part by Metallica. The killer riffs, repeated for effect, urge players forward through the Strogg city and beyond, a trail of gibs in their wake.

Reissued by Demon over a decade ago on CD, a vinyl repress is long since overdue and now the beautiful people over at Music On Vinyl have opted to re-distribute the underrated seasoned gem on translucent blue vinyl with the 180 gram numbered audiophile treatment. Reliably mammoth riffs and soaring hooks abound, though the project is most noted for featuring an eclectic reimagining of Willie Dixon's blues classic 'Just Wanna Make Love to You', popularised by the incomparable Muddy Waters.

Review: Industrial, metal and glam outfit Orgy was the first act signed by Korn's Jonathan Davis to his Elementree imprint, and the move paid off right away with their 1998 debut, which went Top 30 and scored a huge hit with it's cover of New Order's 'Blue Monday', and went on to dazzle with original numbers, most eminent among which is the song 'Stitches'. With crunching expositions, screeching, hyper-chorused vocal deliveries and multi-layered drums amounting to a huge, scorching sound, the band's debut record surely earned them the crown of their very own genre coinage, death pop. Somehow, though, this enduring late-90s favourite has eluded a vinyl release, until now! With the full cooperation of the band, Real Gone have really gone and gotten it remastered for vinyl (by Mike Milchner of Sonic Vision) and placed this platter inside a beautiful gatefold jacket.

While featuring a career-spanning set of the trio's most face-melting rippers from 'Killer' to 'Rosalie' to 'Killed By Death', the set is most notable for the surprise appearance of former guitarist Michael Richard Burston aka Wurzel, who provides his shredding abilities to the epic one-two punch finale of 'Overkill' and 'Ace Of Spades'.

Review: "Hopium" is internet-speak for naive "hope" in the face of oncoming calamity, where "hope" is imagined as a kind of injectable drug upon which media consumers inevitably get hooked. With this in mind, LA-based political synth-come-punk-metal ish act Ministry (the lifetime project of founder Al Jourgensen) deliver their latest album, HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES, which provides a window into the pysche of the contemporary hope-stricken worrier / warrior of today. From the opening war-cry of 'Goddamn White Trash' to the closing clamour of 'Ricky's Hand', it's clear the ultimate message is that there are two kinds of hope - the passive "hopium" kind, and the active kind that knows what it's doing.

Review: The fourth full-length from thrash metal titans Metallica has gone on since its original 1988 release to be heralded as the band's most progressive, vicious and artistic statement. Marking their first work following the tragic passing of bassist Cliff Burton, the album has become controversial for its notable muting of (at the time) newcomer Jason Newsted's performance, yet it's immensely difficult to ignore a project that boasts some of the band's finest material, from the breakneck paced opener 'Blackened' to the grooving intensity of 'Harvester Of Sorrow' to the Johnny Got His Gun based psychological metal ballad 'One'. Ask a Metallica lifer what's truly the group's finest moment, and any worth their salt will point you towards ...And Justice For All each and every time.

Review: Metallica's self-titled fifth full-length, subsequently dubbed 'The Black Album', still serves as the controversial bridging point from their iconic run of four definitive thrash metal classics throughout the 80's, to their more sporadic and messy 90s output. For some, the inclusion of producer Bob Rock was a step too far into accessible territory as ten-minute instrumentals were abandoned, compositions were simplified, and the overall aggressive, grim edges showcased on the preceding classics Master Of Puppets and ...And Justice for All were somewhat sanded down to appeal to as large of an audience as possible. Make no mistake however, for every naysayer fan who opts to live in a fantasy where Metallica never continued into a second decade, there's still legions of adoring defenders who praise the balance the group would strike. It also doesn't hurt that the tracklist boasts literally some of the most well known and iconic cuts of their career, from the opening classic 'Enter Sandman' to the hefty groove of 'Sad But True', to more melodious fare like 'The Unforgiven' as well as the timeless ballad 'Nothing Else Matters'.

Written and recorded in collaboration with her long-time bandmate and husband Nicke Andersson (vocalist/guitarist for hard rock Swedes The Hellacopters and drummer for legendary death metal entity Entombed), V continues the band's unique coalescence of accessible, grooving AOR emboldened by elements of classic doom metal and proto-psych. Complete with macabre, gothic lyrics delivered with Platow's incomparable, sultry, almost Wiccan cadence, the project offers a hypnotic dirge of horror delivered with a gentle hand.

Review: The Grace Of A Dragonfly is the third release by Lionheart who have reformed and have been recording together again since the mid-2010s. Originally an 80s rock and pop metal band, their sound reminds many of the likes of Styx, Survivor, Europe and Foreigner and the early 80s radio friendly rock music. Their latest album amplifies those comparisons by a factor of ten. Tracks like the triumphant 'V Is For Victory' and 'This Is A Woman's War' while 'The Longest Night' reminds of us primetime Loverboy. Every album like this yearns for a ballad. 'Just A Man' satisfies that request with a great band performance. If you are a fan of 1980s arena rock, then Lionheart is for you! This vinyl version is limited on gatefold in silver color and complete with an insert. How about the cool cover and graphics on this album?!

Review: Following on from the riff-heavy, machine gun directness of 2018's Firepower, Birmingham born metallic legends Judas Priest return with their 19th overall full-length Invincible Shield. Channelling the more complex, prog-leaning style of 1970s output like the iconic 'Sinner', yet avoiding a full pivot into the symphonic grandiosity found on later material such as 2008's Nostradamus; the seasoned veterans have struck a precarious balance that sonically draws on all of their differing musical guises to date. Hindered by delays stemming from the pandemic, which then threw touring conflicts into the mix, the over half-decade gap has ironically benefited and contributed to the astute and well crafted finished project, resulting in easily one of the icons' best albums of the 21st century. Yes, we said it.

Review: A mere 19 albums, not out. It's almost unfathomable how long Judas Priest have been making noise, with their first steps into heavy metal megastardom taken in the late-1960s, a time when the genre was really just a glint in the eye of hopeful upstarts, including this troupe. More than 50million LP unit sales later, and it's safe to say their legacy is more than written, yet the most defining aspect of their tenure - unstoppable, unflappable - is only really apparent in their continued output. Well, OK, this is the first we've heard from them since 2018's Firepower, but nevertheless, across five decades they've barely taken more than four years off before coming back with new material. In this case it's been six, but there was a 24 month pandemic in and among, meaning you can let them off. So, what does it sound like, this long-awaited 19th long form from the deities of power riffs and juggernaut rhythms? Well, Judas Priest, of course - as if there was ever going to be another answer.

Review: Experimental death metal group Job For A Cowboy share their latest cosmic horrifier Moon Healer, forming the sophomore counterpart to their prior album Sun Eater. Don't be fooled though, as even this remedial cosmic entity has just as many sonic teeth as the prior record's solar galactus. After a short hiatus in which the band drifted from each other for a period of time, their primary focus with this record was an aggressive yet confluent return to form, centring on the titular lunar concept as a vehicle for rampant shreddings ('Etched Into Oblivion'), crystalline exhumings ('Into The Crystalline Crypts') and bleakly violent, yet still melancholic progressions ('A Sorrow-Filled Moon'). In frontman Jonny Davy's own words: - envision this as a death metal album born from the mystical confines of an alchemist's laboratory. The music acts as potent potions, inducing hallucinogenic journeys that unlock the secrets of the universe."

Recorded a mere month before the release of their iconic sophomore effort Killers, this live collection captures the most quintessential hits from both that album and their preceding self-titled debut (fondly remembered by fans as the pre-Bruce Dickinson, or rather Paul Di'Anno era, as the OG frontman would be ousted within a year of this set). Review: Formed in 2016 and hailing from Fredericksburg, Virginia, Infant Island play within the unique Venn Diagram intersection of black metal and screamo, utilising the similar motifs of both sub-genres such as tremolo-picking, blast beats, shrieking vocals, macabre lyricism and an overwhelming wall-of-sound approach to conjure a truly hideous sonic hybrid of cataclysmic despair. Following on from 2020's critically acclaimed Beneath, the collective have recently signed to Secret Voice (imprint of Deathwish ran by Jeremy Bolm of modern post-hardcore heroes Touche Amore) to distribute their most dour, oppressive, vicious and cathartic work to date. Produced by Matthew Michel of hardcore/screamo pioneers Majority Rule, Obsidian Wreath marries the unhinged bedlam of emoviolence with blackened atmospherics and lush hues of shoegazing post-rock, making for an audible tapestry of furious blackgaze screamo that acknowledges, respects yet transcends any and all of their would-be peers.

Review: Ever since Los Angeles noise-rock trio HEALTH provided the score to Rockstar Games' Max Payne 3, both their sonic and career paths have veered down a direction that avid early fans still have trouble reconciling. Shifting from predominantly instrumental, spasmodic chaos to a unique form of laser-focused, industrial metalwave; their 2019 opus Vol 4: Slaves Of Fear newly established them as the ultimate electronic act for metal fans. While lockdown led to the Disco 4 collaborative albums, split into two separate volumes and boasting a remarkably dynamic array of features from the likes of alt hip-hop guru JPEGMAFIA, trap-metal phenom Ghostemane, hyperpop absurdist duo 100 Gecs, industrial overlords Nine Inch Nails and even groove metal legends Lamb Of God, their fifth full-length Rat Wars draws on the insidious influence from these more aggressive collaborators while simultaneously offering some of their most vulnerable, melancholic and fragile material to date. Complete with a Godflesh sample, it's rather fitting when considering HEALTH's attempts to marry such disparate yet equally punishing sonics mirrors Justin Broadrick's forays from decades ago. Grinding, mechanical percussion fuses to ethereal, androgynous vocals all drowned within EBM sickliness, whilst unpacking utterly nihilistic worldviews. Imagine Placebo or The Pet Shop Boys writing an album with Ministry, and you may start to have an idea of the war you're heading into...

Review: LA based industrial trio HEALTH have had quite the curious trajectory from their confrontational noise-rock beginnings, to providing the acclaimed score to Max Payne 3, all the way to redefining themselves as a gritty, synth-metal behemoth on 2019's Vol 4: Slaves Of Fear. Following on from their lockdown-inspired two-part Disco 4 collaborative project which boasted cuts written in tandem with artists ranging from a multitude of differing sonic spheres, such as alternative hip-hop (JPEGMAFIA, Ghostemane) to hyperpop (100 Gecs) and even grindcore (Full Of Hell), their latest endeavour appears to be taking cues from both their more vicious experiments as well as their newfound collaborative ethos. With features from the likes of Godflesh and Willie Adler of Lamb Of God, whilst embracing both their metallic and techno-leaning indulgences simultaneously, Rat Wars promises to distil the myriad of components essential to the sonic makeup of HEALTH into one oppressive, melancholic, hellish, absorbing and vital collection.

Review: Ghost Atlas serves as the long-gestating solo outlet from Jesse Cash; frontman of melodic metalcore genre-benders ERRA. Following a slew of self-funded/released EPs, Dust Of The Human Shape marks Cash's full-length debut and offers a melancholic affair of 90s-indebted grunge and alt-rock repurposed through the modern filter of metalcore composition. Crushing riffs meet with soaring, ethereal electronics to conjure a vulnerable depiction of fragility, constantly skirting the outer limits of aggression without ever falling victim, while Cash's lush cadence balances despair and despondency effortlessly.

The third full-length from Swedish theatrical goth rock extraordinaires Ghost originally arrived in 2015, with the lead single 'Cirice' even winning them the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance. Following on from their acclaimed sophomore effort Infestissumam, the material on Meliora showcased the first signs of the fearlessness and lack of consideration for metal musos that become a staple of their identity in the coming years. Still retaining a complex psych-tinged prog rock aesthetic, whilst embracing hooks and anthemic, purposefully cheesy song structures, this was the album that made Ghost a household name within the metal sphere. This reissue also includes the Popestar EP, which was originally featured as bonus content on the Meliora Redux, and offers up ludicrously brazen and endearing renditions of cuts from the likes of Echo & the Bunnymen, Eurythmics and Simian Mobile Disco.

The brainchild of Ruud Jolie; guitarist of symphonic metal legends Within Temptation, the LP sees the returning line-up of Leo Margarit (Pain Of Salvation), Kristoffer Gildenlow (ex-Pain Of Salvation) and Marco Kuypers (ex-Cloud Machine), whilst tapping the modern Dutch soulful r&b crooner Wudstik to handle lyrical/vocal duties. Soaring, swelling, cascading crescendos and dexterous noodling riffage weave and meander around saccharine melodies, leading to a vintage style of prog rock fearlessness delivered with modernised vision and a deft touch.

Following on from their 2020 debut full-length Tub Of Lard and 2021's Exigent Circumstance EP, this self-titled sophomore effort continues their pummelling examination of a broken world and systemic prejudices through grinding, buzzsaw riffs and barrages of fuzzed out grooves that echo the likes of Melvins only if fed through a rusted woodchipper. Ugly music for ugly times.

The Mandrake Project is the singer's seventh studio solo album in total and the most long awaited too. 'Afterglow of Ragnarok' was the first single released prior to the album and received a great response for the song's heavy sound and catchy chorus, while another single, 'Rain on the Graves', sees Bruce delivering a narrative style of lyric not a million miles from Maiden's 'Rime Of The Ancient Mariner'. This Deluxe Edition comes in gatefold on 180-gram vinyl 2xLP.

Review: Originally released in 1999, Chamber Music served as the sophomore offering from Los Angeles nu-metal pioneers Coal Chamber, yet marked a notable departure from the groove-oriented sound of their self-titled debut following several comparisons to their peers in Korn. While still delivering a hefty sonic assault, the material introduced a slew of melodic, electronic, gothic and industrial elements, thanks in no small part, to the enlisting of session keyboardists such as both Amir Derakh and Jay Gordon of Orgy as well as DJ Lethal of Limp Bizkit, while Skinny Puppy's Dave Ogilvie provided valuable production assistance. Most known for the Ozzy Osbourne featuring cover of Peter Gabriel's 'Shock The Monkey', which would become the band's biggest hit to date, the project sits in a delicate sweet spot between nu-metal time capsule and a sonic striving to push beyond the confines of the increasingly claustrophobic genre, bolstered further by frontman Dez Fafara's later departure to focus on DevilDriver.

Review: Like Ronseal does exactly what it says on the tin, Procreation Of The Wicked: Rehearsal June '84 is a rare session recorded by Swiss extreme metal pioneers Celtic Frost, the same year they unveiled their debut EP/mini-LP Morbid Tales. Later expanded into what the band would retrospectively regard as their debut full-length, the bulk of material from this session comes directly from this project, with the notable inclusion of studio-version lacking 'Messiah', which has grown to become an underappreciated fan favourite in the decades since, largely due to its rehearsal session-only mystique. Raw, feral, and boasting the proto black metal thrash abrasion that would utterly reroute the metallic landscape for future generations, this early incarnation time capsule is a vital piece of extreme metal history, though its ragged edges require true fandom to appreciate the boundary-pushing genius being captured in real time.

Orchards Of A Futile Heaven is the latest work to join this ever-expansive list of collaborations, seeing the pair link up with Berlin based DJ and experimental producer Dis Fig (aka DJ Felicia Chen) in an effort "to find new avenues to make heavy music that looked beyond tropes of metal and electronic music by merging the two". The resulting maelstrom offers a cacophonous swarm of distorted, screeching electronics and ethereal, menacing vocals submerged beneath layers of haunting, nocturnal, sonic malevolence. Review: Hailing from the Adirondack Mountains in New York, Blackbraid is the one-man black project of Jon Krieger, also known by his pseudonym Sgah'gahsowah (Mohawk name meaning "The Witch Hawk"). Following on from his exceptional 2022 debut full-length, Blackbraid II furthers Krieger's sonic marrying of esoteric blackened chaos with elements of traditional indigenous music, including the use of Native American flutes and pan instruments. With lyrics touching on racism, genocide and displacement; Krieger attempts to relinquish the far-right neo-Nazi rhetoric surrounding the black metal genre by imbuing it with earnest, despair-driven, authentic history. Imagine if a black metal band provided the score to Martin Scorsese's Killers Of The Flower Moon, and Blackbraid is precisely what you'd get.

Review: From rehearsing in dungeons to renting out estates in Bel Air, Black Sabbath did everything they could to muster up the creative spark for their now iconic fifth full-length Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Exhausted from a ludicrously demanding touring schedule whilst battling sever cocaine addiction following the album cycle for Vol. 4, the band would regroup at Clearwell Castle in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire where guitarist Tony Iommi would conceive the now timeless and pioneering riff to the opening title-track, which many to this day still cite as one of the first true pieces of psych/doom metal. Balancing their macabre early material with the more leftfield experimental cuts like the synth-laden 'Who Are You?' and the fan-favourite closer 'Spiral Architect', five decades on, the dust has settled enough for most fans to agree that this was the last truly great LP from the Ozzy run.

Review: Formed in 1995, Belgian death metal icons Aborted have become renowned for their dizzying technicality and seamless fusion of the more brutal and melodic aspects of the genre, all the while harbouring a major predilection towards grindcore. Signing to highly revered metal label Nuclear Blast for their 12th full-length Vault Of Horrors, the project takes an old school approach to lyrical inspiration with each of the cuts based off of specific, classic horror films, from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre ('Death Cult') to Halloween ('The Shape of Hate') to Hellraiser ('Hellbound') to later morbid entries such as The Mist ('Malevolent Haze'). That's before even mentioning the ludicrous array of guest vocal features across the album, appearing more like a hip-hop record at first glance with practically every track offering room to the likes of Alex Erian (Despised Icon), Matt McGachy (Cryptopsy), and Jason Evans (Ingested) to name but a small handful.
