Review: Hospital drop the second Sick Music comp upon their incredibly loyal fanbase and the good news is that it's a real stormer with a really tasty range of songs from the mega successful D&B label. Some highlights include Muffler's "Pinball Fantasies", which rocks an interesting glitchcore/Planet Mu-style lead melody, an unusual sound for a Hospital banger. Another surprise is the slinky, tech-inspired vocal tune "Turn Up The Music" by Camo and Krooked, a tune that craftily keeps the listener on tenterhooks as it threatens to spill out into complete mayhem. Every bit as strong as the first time around, this is yet another chance to gorge on 22 unmixed D&B future classics from Hospital. Sick indeed.

Review: The only bug you want to pick up this winter, Hospital's third Sick Music compendium is, quite possibly, the label's best one yet. Bulging with talent, you'll be hard pushed what to play first: Total Science's Orbitalesque "Now As It Was Then", Maldini's grunge-groove "Party Time", Netsky's technicolour flying groove carpet remix of Madeon or S.P.Y's absolutely monstrous rub High Contrast. The list goes on... This collection truly is sick.

Review: Well, here it is, the collab album we've all been waiting for. Drum & bass brothers Nu:Tone and Logistics hit Hospital Records hard with an LP the scene has been crying out for since their first work together a decade ago. A killer combination of Logistic's pure breaks and Nu:Tone's ear for soulful samples, there was little doubt that this album was going to be a huge release for the label, and for Matt and Dan too. Opening with the beautiful haze of lead single "Morning Light", the release heads down different courses to reach various points in the D&B spectrum. The sunshine in "Brown Shoes" is hard to ignore, and interludes like "Escape Pod" are sci-fi journeys into the unknown, an interlude to cast the hard-hitting drama of their follow-up tracks into sharp focus. This is an album as we know and miss them - a piece of work intended to be listened to in one greedy sitting. So find a quiet corner and put those cans on.

Review: Drum & bass mainstays Hospital welcome back one of their most consistently excellent performers here as Nu: Tone serves up his sixth studio album. It's been a while since his last, however, because he took on A&R duties for the label as well as setting up his own mixing and mastering business. Apparently the idea to get to work on this one came to him in a dream, and it sure is a nice escapist and soulful sound throughout. The drums are silky smooth, the chords lush and warm, the vibes ultimately comforting while also sounding fresh.

Review: Hospital's place in the history of drum & bass is already assured. The mighty label has been there, at the front, for many many years. Next to a vital stream of red hot 12"s for Das, they have put out tens of critically acclaimed albums and of course endless numbers of compilations jam packed with heat. The latest is another fine once that marks 25 years of the label with all the family favourites old and new featuring. Logistics, Flava D, DJ Marky, Dillinja, Ray Keith, you name, it, they all appear here, remixing killer cuts and tuning the gamut from liquid rollers to soulful anthems to minimal steppers.

Review: Netsky is a drum & bass icon who has crossed over to have a broad, widescreen appeal across all of dance music. His fourth studio album on home label Hospital has been hugely anticipated and showcases the artist's on going love for the roots of this sound. The album lands a full decade after his debut announced his arrival in style and the 18 tracks include collaborations with Rudimental, Hybrid Minds, Sub Focus, Becky Hill, and Urbandawn to name a few. Classic liquid sounds are updated for 2020 with plenty of soulful grooves and uplifting vocals all enriching the record.

Review: Makato is often cited as one of the pioneering founders of Japan's drum & bass scene. He's now up to his sixth studio album and it finds his airy, rolling, sweet flowing beats all present and correct. "Tomodachi Sessions" derived from a series of collaborations with close friends who have all played a part in his 25 year career. DJ Marky, S.P.Y, Bop and MC Conrad all feature and lend their own personalities to an album that offers celebratory hands in the air tracks like "Shine On Through" next to more late night dancers like "Transparent" and melodic explorations like "Show Me How You Feel".

Review: Few D&B artists have delivered seven albums in 10 years at the high level of creativity as Logistics. Few D&B artists have delivered seven albums full stop. But this is the prolific magic of Matt Gresham, a man whose passion for melody, soul, grit and authenticity are balanced in such a way he consistently smashes it with every construction. Take the rattling jungle amens and choral soaring of "Icarus" or the weighty halfstep and Flume-style vocal trippiness of "Fight 4 U" or the hazy sunrise glimmers of the title track.... Each cut expressing weight, musicality, heaps of space and a range that's at once broad and highly defined. Impressive.

Review: With their spiralling synth melodies, bombastic rhythms and attractive pop hooks, Austrian duo Camo and Krooked are fast becoming one of drum & bass's biggest attractions. Their sound - bold, attractive, brash and shot through with electronic funk - is a perfect fit with Hospital Records' current fascination with festival-friendly drum and bass. This fourth album for Tony Colman's veteran imprint delivers more smile-inducing thrills, offering the kind of fare that should find wider appeal outside the D&B scene. Unashamedly dancefloor-focused, Zeitgeist oozes positivity, from the tropical jungle of "Aurrora" and darkside pomp of "Ruhepuls", to the cut-up white-knuckle ride that is "Vice".

Review: Logistics is back! More or less absent in a solo capacity since dropping the 2012 anthem Fear Not, Matt Gresham delivers Polyphony his sixth Logistics album in as many years for Hospital Records. Long term fans of both Logistics and Hospital will immediately resonate with the 13 tracks here with Gresham signalling a return to the vivid, life affirming brand of drum and bass that helped establish the classic Hospital sound. Uplifting piano chords, euphoric basslines and sublime vocal chops abound on Polyphony with a raft of collaborators including new names such as Hugh Hardie and Maduk as well as veteran producer Sonic and Gresham's brother Dan Nu Tone.

Review: If there's one genre that captures the rush of motor racing, it's surely D&B. So it's a match made in heaven as the lauded Forza Horizon 5 game teams up with some of the brightest talents in big room D&B for a blockbuster soundtrack which will get your virtual foot slamming the virtual pedals with appreciation through every chicane and hair-raising hairpin bend. Hospital Records are carrying the soundtrack, and who better to platform this absolutely top-drawer crew of sharp shooters. From Flava D and Grafix to SPY, Logistics and Nu:Tone, there's no shortage of talent rolling out the beats across three mighty slabs of wax, meaning you can enjoy the tunes even when you're not frantically racing your mates in the flashiest sports cars in the game.

Review: Etherwood re-confirms all the promise he has shown in recent years with this super new album on the legendary Hospital. It is his fourth long-player in all and shows off his knack for rolling drums and majestic melody while serving up some sweet vocal collabs. Next to the timeless drum &bas sounds come a wealth of influences from rock, indie-pop, techno and downtempo, with lots of lush ambient designs and plenty of hummable top lines. His own vocals also feature on tunes like the heartbroken Fall Awake, while legendary mic man DRS is in fine flow on 'The Current' where he muses on self-medication and more. Neon Dust is another complete album from one of the scene's finest.

Review: Russian shoegaze bliss! Serial collaborators Bop and Subwave link up for a full album on Hospital and it's a unique and beguiling adventure from edge to edge. Digging deep into the lo-fi, emotional and dreamy sides of their shared palette, the album is tailored for home and headphone listening. From the Trentemoller-esque indie soul of 'Storm In A Teacup' and 'Euphoric Rush' to the sleepwalking two-step flutters and flurries of 'Closer 2 U' and the wistful 'Don't Wake Me Up', there's a distinct maturity running throughout that's seldom experienced in the drum & bass paradigm. 80s crew, this one is definitely for you.

Review: Hospital Records is one of the most mighty in all of drum & bass and here it joins up with Soulvent who now join the family. It's a label founded by Joe Goss, Jack (Pola) Higgins and Liam Holyoak-Rackal that has been on top of its game since 2014 and at the forefront of the new generation. This fiery 14 track collection is packed full of brand new remixes of classics from both imprint's back catalogues. There is dream-like stuff from Nu:Tone, Hugh Hardie is in fine form on his take on Japan-based Mountains' 'I'm Free' (feat. Kojo)' and one-to-watch DJ and producer Vektah drops some real jungle heat.

Review: Unglued is the latest artist to step up to the mighty Hospital Records. He does so with a bold debut album that takes in a whole gamut of UK styles from hardcore to jungle, jazz to soul. It is now three years since he burst on to the scene with remixes of High Contrast and Andy C and here he shows how he has developed in the years since. Interplanetary Radio is packed with goodness, including previous singles including 'Total XTC' and 'Crusty Rolls (feat. Benny L & Javeon)' and new gems like the minimal stepper 'Sunbathing In Space' and face melting, brilliantly entitled H To The A To The R To The D To The C To The O To The R To The E.'
