High-Performance Mic Preamps:
The Pro features the same high performance, low-noise mic preamps as our acclaimed Zoom H5 and H6 Handy Recorders, with recording and playback at resolutions up to 24-bit/96 kHz. The improved noise floor (-120 dBu EIN) captures audio at lower volumes with less noise and fewer artefacts.

Built-in Stereo Recording:
X/Y stereo recording covers a wide area while capturing sound sources in the centre with clarity and definition. The angle of its two unidirectional condenser mics can easily be changed from 90 degrees for a tightly focused stereo image to 120 degrees for a wider image simply by twisting the mic capsules.

The H4n Pro provides an onboard MS decoder for Mid-Side recording with external microphones. This allows you to adjust the width of the stereo image, making it especially useful for sound design and broadcasting.

Inputs:
The two locking combo connectors accept either XLR or 1/4" balanced/unbalanced phone cables, handling mic- and line-level signals as well as instrument-level signals. Phantom Power of +24 or +48 volts can be applied to both inputs. Plus, there's a stereo 1/8" Mic jack for external audio sources, including lavalier microphones requiring 2.5 volts of plug-in power.

Outputs:
A stereo 1/8" Line/Phone Out, with dedicated volume control, allows for headphone monitoring or connection to your DSLR, while the built-in monophonic speaker allows for quick playback reference. In addition, a USB port enables fast file transfer, firmware updates, and use as a 2-in/2-out audio interface for computers.

Form Factor:
A new rubberized, ergonomic body is perfect for use in the field or with a camera, while new locking XLR/TRS connectors ensure your mic cables stay secure. Highly portable, the H4n Pro can travel anywhere for convenient mobile recording.

8HP drum/percussion synth module
Notes: Originally inspired by audience applause, hip-hop samples, and classic drum machines, Fracture is a multi-particle percussion synthesizer that applies concepts from classic analogue clap circuits to granular synthesis methods.

It all starts from proprietary micro-samples we recorded specifically for this purpose and ends with an engine built to suit these samples.
Unlike our other percussion module, the Chimera which uses impulse rich samples as it's tonal centre, Fracture uses single impulse samples like Claps, Snaps, Ping Pong Balls, Opening a beer can, and many more. It then plays a group of similar samples back in a psuedo random order for unique hits. Density, Decay, and Tail affect tone and how "tight" your virtual clappers are to playing together.

Our goal was to design a clap percussion module covering the range from classic drum machine claps all the way to full audience applause. We ended up with a module that covers a huge range of timbres beyond claps. We hope this engine provides you with the tools to intuitively create wild percussion sounds that bring your system to life in a new way.

By utilizing classic digital synthesis blocks like delay and digital filters, Crucible can fully synthesize, in real time, sounds similar to thin struck pieces of metal.

We expose the engine to the user through parameters specifically chosen for their sonic resemblance to the "parameters" of a real drum kit cymbal.

Size, Pitch, Tone, and Deform give the user the tools to shape their cymbal. The Excite knob allow the user to shape their exciter, completely changing Crucible's response. Finally, select where the exciter contacts the engine by triggering the EDGE and MID inputs, or trigger both to strike the "bell."

All of this adds up to a module that is lively and energetic, completely mimicking the feeling of playing a real cymbal, while still incorporating WMD's "New Sounds, Maximum Experience" philosophy.

Over the past couple years we consistently felt the need for a simple crossfader module that would allow users to switch between two stereo sources, add a stereo effect path, or easily mix a mono source with a stereo one. AXYS was born from this need.

Each crossfader features stereo inputs with normalling for mono to stereo uses as well as independent CV control. Control both crossfaders with one CV easily and decide how the Y will react to X's CV.

Easily transition between two performers similar to a DJ transitioning between decks with one channel and add some master buss effects with the other. Gate / Expander

In its simplest form a noise gate cuts the signal when its level falls below a set threshold. The Voluum noise gate not only gives you control over the threshold, but also enables fine control over over how quickly it reacts and how much the signal should be reduced in level. Combined with a smooth transition from open to closed, Voluum gives you ultra-transparent gating that reduces the noise when you're not playing without introducing any audible artifacts.

Compressor

The compressor in Voluum features an intelligent make-up gain which means you only need to think about how much compression you want to apply. This also allows dynamic modulation of the compressor. For example, you can smoothly vary the amount of compression being applied without affecting your signal level - another unique Sonuus innovation.

Variable attack and release times let you configure the effect to suit your performance and even these can be pedal-controlled. While other compressors are either on or off, the Voluum compressor gives you glitch-free pedal-control to enhance the subtleties of your music.

LFO (tremolo)

Tremolo is a classic effect where a low-frequency-oscillator (LFO) modulates the volume of your instrument. The Voluum LFO (tremolo) lets you recreate this effect, while giving you many more options. Smooth tremolo sounds with multiple waveforms featuring envelope and pedal-controlled speed variation, as well as MIDI-clock sync to keep the tremolo in time with your sequencer.

Volume

The volume effect on Voluum lets you change volume, but without compromising your tone. But just doing that would be boring! Voluum lets you cut or boost the signal level to any level you desire while providing fine control over the feel of the pedal: how its position maps to the volume change. You can also configure fades where the pedal acts as a switch and the volume fades up or down smoothly over a preset time to give you super-smooth fades that are impossible to do just by using foot-control.

In envelope mode, the level change is triggered when you play a new note, or strum a new chord. Combined with built-in ADSR shaping, you can create synth-like tones from your instrument.

Limiter

The high voltage analogue power rails in Voluum give great sonic quality, but it means that high output levels can overdrive other effects in your chain. The limiter effect can be engaged to limit the signal peaks to keep them within the range of your other effects to avoid nasty clipping distortion. The limiter can also limit asymmetrically which can add sweeter-sounding overdrive to limited signals.

Perform
As well as being ideal at home or in the studio, Voluum has special features that make it perfect on stage. The sturdy, lightweight aluminium chassis, paired with modern robust electronic design ensures that Voluum will stand up to the demands of the toughest gigs. The large bright display is readable outdoors but can also be dimmed when required in low-light environments.

A lock switch ensures that settings cannot be changed accidentally in the heat of a performance, but still allows you to select which preset to use. Foot-operated selection of presets lets you access what you need with minimum hassle. Powered by 9VDC, 4xAA batteries or USB, and with modern-yet-retro styling, you can be sure Voluum will fit into your rig.

MIDI
With both USB-MIDI and standard 5-pin MIDI connections, Voluum was designed to be connected! Any effect that can be controlled by the pedal can also be controlled by MIDI messages allowing you to automate effects or remotely control them in real-time. The Angle Grinder tracks volts per octave and can be used as a sine wave oscillator with voltage control over harmonic content available at the GRIND OUT. Tracking 24dB/octave multimode filter pedal with 100% analogue circuitry
Notes: Pigtronix Resotron is an analogue filter that brings the sound of 70's keyboard synthesizers to the world of envelope pedals for guitar, bass and beyond. The filter at the heart of the Resotron is based on the SSM2040 chip found in the legendary Prophet 5 and Octave CAT synthesizers. This 24db/octave, state-variable filter provides the full gamut of familiar envelope filter sounds with UP and DOWN sweeping modes, and a sensitivity control to dial in the response of the effect based on how hard you play.

In addition to these vintage-correct filter tones, the Resotron pushes the envelope pedal concept to a whole new level by using an analogue pitch-tracking system to move the cutoff frequency of the filter up and down. The pitch-following filter effect found in the Resotron moves around based on the notes you play instead of how hard you play. The attack time and rate of filter motion can be adjusted - using the GLIDE knob - to dial in how long it takes for the cutoff to travel between pitches.

"The pitch-following effect found in the Resotron is analogous to the "key-follow" function found on the original Minimoog and many other classic analogue keyboards," says Pigtronix president David Koltai. "Using our all-analogue pitch-tracking circuit to control cutoff frequency, the Resotron delivers mind-blowing filter motion for guitar players. I've dreamt of making this pedal for years, and it's finally here."

The Resotron has the ability to operate in Low Pass, Band Pass or High Pass modes. Each of these filter voices has a distinctive character that can be manipulated by adjusting the PEAK knob, progressively feeding the filter back upon itself to increase the resonance (or "Q") of the filter, right up to the point of self-oscillation. A push-button OSCILLATE function allows you to go even further - turning the Resotron into an analogue synthesizer pedal that follows both the pitch and dynamics of your playing. The synthesizer sounds created by the Resotron can be radically altered by switching between the LPF, BPF and HPF modes. This allows users to access waveforms that range from subtle voice emulations to bombastic, aggressive lead sounds, as well as ultra-smooth sub bass tones.

Before the pedal's input signal hits the Resotron's filter, it passes through an optical compression stage derived from the Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone pedal. The increased volume and punch from this compressor can then be mixed into the audio signal using the BLEND control - without affecting the SENSITIVITY of the envelope. Resotron accepts active CV and passive TRS expression pedal inputs for foot-controlled filter sweeps and outboard modulation, which is mixed in parallel with the on-board pitch-following and amplitude tracking systems.

14HP Eurorack digital filter
Notes: What is a Comb Filter? It is a digital filter where the input signal is mixed with a slightly delayed version of the input signal. You won't hear it as some kind of an echo, as this delay is very short (40ms at max). But the mixing process creates a number of equally spaced peaks and holes in the frequency spectrum, that make it look like the teeth of a comb. That's where the name 'Comb Filter' comes from.

Comb filters are typically used to make chorus and flanger style effects. These effects are created by modulating the delay time. With longer and relatively fast modulated delays you receive a chorus effect. With short to very short slowly modulated delays, combined with some feedback you'll get the typical sound of a flanger unit.

So, the most interesting parameter in this is the delay time. That determines the frequency spacing of the comb teeth. So that's why there's a CV control for it. The typical chorus and flanger effects are made by modulating the delay time with a triangle LFO. So there's a triangle LFO onboard the module, with speed control. If you don't enter any CV in the CV1 connector, it is normalled to this internal LFO to make typical effects. CV2 is normalled to the reverse signal of CV1, to make Modor's typical wide stereo effects, just as on the NF-1 synthesizer. But of course, you can enter your own CV signals in there: LFO's, Envelopes or some rhythmically undulating spacy voltage signals...

The centre big DELAY control sets the delay time, the DEPTH control sets the amount of CV modulation of the delay time. DEPTH can go positive and negative.

The MIX control sets the dry/wet mix. The FEEDBACK controls the amount of feedback. It can be set both positive and negative. The SPEED control sets the pace of the internal triangle LFO.

Notes: The Malekko Goatkeeper (MGK) is a completely redesigned version of the Lightfoot Labs Goatkeeper, first released in 2007. The core of the pedal is an all analogue tremolo circuit using a THAT Corp VCA, which when combined with the built in waveforms, can produce tremolo sounds from percussive to smooth. The MGK's LFO generation consists of two stages, each with a range of multiplier values and waveform selection.

The two stages can be run in 3 ways:

- Sequential: The two stages are run one after the other
- Composite: The two stages are run simultaneously and the effective waveform is a polyrhythmic composite of the two.
- Modulation: The two stages are run simultaneously and the effective waveform is the equivalent of one modulating the other.

Tempo can be set with the RATE knob or with the Tap/Sync input. The Tap/Sync input accepts a Malekko Lil' Buddy for tap tempo control, or an analogue clock/metronome signal. The DEPTH knob allows the effect to vary from subtle to high intensity.

Mad Professor Loud'n Proud is a vintage 4-input Marshall in a box. It's a compact pedal with a complete amp signal path replicated inside. Not only the preamp but also the power amp containing phase inverter, push-pull stage, and output transformer simulation. This internal structure makes the pedal not only sound but also behave like a real amp.

And like a vintage Marshall amp, the pedal has a moderate amount of gain. This is what led us to adding a boost/fuzz to this medium gain overdrive circuit. The pre boost has the capability of pushing 13dB, which adds a nice amount of gain to the pedal. It also thickens the midrange a bit so feel free to experiment with the boost also for a different voicing for the overall tone of the pedal. The fuzz is designed to work like a vintage germanium fuzz. By engaging the fuzz you can find a great variety of tones from a clean tone to a thick and warm fuzzy tones just by rolling the guitar volume. The vintage germanium fuzz + Marshall plexi is a classic tone combination that we absolutely wanted to include to the Loud 'n Proud pedal!

You will also find a switch for two different character voicings in the Loud'n Proud pedal: tighter bass and slightly compressed tone on the left with a looser bass including maximum dynamics on the right. If you love the vintage Marshall amp tone, you will also love this pedal. It's the real deal for those who dare!

4 track gate & trigger sequencer - 8HP
Notes: Steppy is a 4-track programmable gate sequencer with eight internal memory slots, external clocking, numerous tweakable parameters, and a performance-first design aesthetic.

Each track features numerous independent parameters that govern its playback independently of the other tracks. Specifically:

- Each track has its own length, which can range from 1-step to 64-steps, allowing for polyrhythms, fills, or constantly evolving gate interactions between tracks.
- Each track has its own gate length, which ranges from very short to very long, with tied gates possible at the extreme setting.
- Each track has its own clock divider, allowing patterns to play out over completely different periods of time.
- Each track has its own swing setting, which offsets the timing of every other step.
- Each track has its own delay setting, which offsets the timing of every step.
- Each track has its own probability control, which sets the likelihood that each programmed gate will fire when called upon by the pattern.
- Each track can be shifted (or 'rotated') forward or backward by a number of steps. So if you've created a pattern that 'feels' like it has its downbeat on step 3, you can shift that pattern two steps to the left, so that the downbeat sits on step 1.

Tracks can be programmed by entering active steps on the grid or tapped in live as the sequence is moving. Tracks can be selected and modified in real time as the sequence plays. A select button allows you to directly access each track (and each page of 16 steps within that track) directly through Steppy's intuitive multifunction buttons array.

Tracks can be individually muted and unmuted, and a special performance mode (called "Loopy") enables you to touch any two gate steps and instantly create a performance that loops between those steps.

Track patterns can be cleared without clearing its playback parameters, and all track patterns (along with their individual playback and performance parameters) can be saved as a preset to one of eight internal memory slots.
