As the world continues to grapple with the unprecedented impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Pioneer DJ have turned their attention to the impact on the live music scene.

Distant Dancefloors: Covid-19 and the Electronic Music Industry tells the story of the last six months, with gigs and festivals cancelled, public gatherings prohibited in many countries and DJs forced to improvise via live streams and virtual events.

DJs including Blond:ish, Eats Everything, Honey Dijon, Luciano, Rebuke and more contribute to the film, offering a glimpse into how their lives have changed during lockdown and discussing how they think the industry will recover and evolve once the pandemic is over.
