Preview the Vancouver duo’s upcoming 12″ for the Normals Welcome label. 

We’ve been patiently waiting to hear this new Normals Welcome slab from Bobby Draino and D. Tiffany since it was first alluded to by the Edmonton label on this site last May. The Vancouver producers have previous form together of course; back in 2013 they shared sides on one of the earliest 1080p tapes, Chrome Split, with D. Tiffany appearing there under her Xophie Xweetland alias. Since then, they’ve both accrued a small clutch of tape and 12″ appearances which have included further blessings for the 1080p catalogue.

Next month finally sees them add Normals Welcome to their respective discographies in the shape of Arctic Escape, which sees Draino and Tiffany collaborate on the A-side and contribute a solo track each on the flip. All three tracks can be previewed below, living up to the label’s billing as “ethereal and chilly hardware jams” with D. Tiffany’s closing “Green T” particularly rewarding.
