The trio join forces again for a newly released “serious slamming House trip.”
Active since 2011, the SUED label from SW. and SVN has become something of a cult concern for collectors and selectors who are aligned with the constellation of artists and labels gravitating around Sex Tags and Acido. Roughly operating on a release rate of two to three 12″s a year, SUED scored one of our personal favourite records of 2015 with Reminder Part 3 from SW. which arrived back in November. Consisting of breakbeat experiments and nostalgia-inducing house cuts, the SW. 12″ was a fine addition to the SUED discography alongside the more understated charms of the PG Sounds record that appeared earlier in the year. The SW. mix for our podcast series was quite the coup too.
True to form, today saw a new SUED record surface over at Hard Wax and it marks the return of the fledgling production partnership between A Made Up Sound, Dynamo Dreesen and SVN. Last year saw the trio debut on Dynamo Dreesen’s Acido label with a three-track 12″ of untitled collaborations and they now transfer to SVN’s label for SUED 013 which features the exact same iteration of productions. For their part, Hard Wax describe the new record in their own plain fashion as “serious slamming House trip in Chicago track tradition b/w complementary rhythm jams.”
SUED 013 by Dynamo Dreesen, SVN & A Made Up Sound is out now on SUED.
