Erdbeerschnitzel enters The Ample Waters

The German producer will grace Delsin’s house-focused 12″ series with another record later this month.

Bonn-based Tim Keiling has built up a steady collection of work under the Erdbeerschnitzel guise since he first surfaced towards the tail end of the last decade, supplying the likes of 3rd Strike, 4Lux and Marco Niemerski’s Mirau with some house music of a colourful and individual persuasion. After dropping his debut album Tender Leaf for the aforementioned Mirau label in 2012, Keiling took a break from recording before resurfacing roughly a year ago with Cushion, the sixth release on the Delsin House Series, further adding to the variety of the 4/4 focused imprint which has seen Low Jack, Gerry Read, Tuff City Kids and Soul 223 contribute.

In his review of Cushion, Oli Warwick noted that the the three tracks “shimmer in a thoroughly singular way” upon closer inspection, so it’s welcome news to hear that Delsin have called on Erdbeerschnitzel to lay down some more tracks for the series. Due out at the end of this month, The Ample Waters EP consists of four tracks that Delsin describe simply as “truly feel good jams,” and a full stream of the eight-minute title track below would seem to back this up, sounding much like it was conceived with the summer months in mind.

Delsin will release The Ample Waters by Erdbeerschnitzel on June 30.
