While the Juno Plus team was in recovery mode this weekend after an extremely fun Friday night at Oscillate Wildly, Hype Williams troubadour Dean Blunt sneaked out a 30 minute continuous mixtape of solo productions.

Sadly lacking in the unhinged disco sludge that Blunt unveiled via last year’s Ramirez 12″ for Rush Hour, it does include plenty of sampledelia, twisted oddities and smudgey crooning as well as the quite angelic collaboration with Hype Williams cohort Inga Copeland that surfaced via Youtube recently.

All this should sate hunger for material from the duo until Black Is Beautiful – their forthcoming album for Hyperdub – drops in April. You can listen and download The Narcissist II on the below soundcloud player (via Self-Titled)
