Watch: Jam City – The Courts

Night Slugs have released this delightfully gaudy CGI video to accompany Jam City’s forthcoming release, entitled “The Courts”.

Produced by graphic design student Daniel Swan, its 90s Silicon Graphics style aesthetics are reminiscent of Konx-Om-Pax’s seizure inducing video work, though the gold plated devices spinning above black and white video of a basketball court reference hip-hop videos as much as anything else, making for a perfect accompaniment to the relentless ghetto rhythms.

“The Courts” will be the A-Side of NSWL011, the next release in the Night Slugs white label series. It will be released on 12″ vinyl on February 27.
