Each month us Juno Plus scribes are privileged enough to see a range of sumptuously designed records pass across our desks. For this reason we’re launching a new monthly feature in which we compile our favourite sleeves (and the odd picture disc) for your viewing pleasure.
In January the most inventive picture disc of the month (year?) went to Erol Alkan’s Phantasy Sound imprint and the CDr vinyl effort that housed remixes of “Lemonade” by Gesaffelstein and Justin Robertson. The finest record sleeves came from G&B (seriously check that absurdly collectible printing on The Provider 12″), the hand-painted sleeve on Photonz’s first release on the new Principe imprint, Xosar’s debut for Rush Hour and more.
