Warm announces Autumn line-ups with Scuba, Joy Orbison, Optimo

London based promoters and Plastic People residents Warm today announced their Autumn line-ups, which include headline sets from Scuba, Joy Orbison, Ben UFO and Optimo.

Warm’s approach has generally been one of quality over quantity, which, combined with their Plastic People residency has seen them able to book world class DJs within the most intimate of London settings. The obvious highlight of Warm’s autumn season will see Hotflush label boss Paul Rose bringing the sound of his Sub:stance night from Berghain to the intimate confines of Plastic People on Friday October 14, when he will perform a special all-night-long set celebrating the release of his forthcoming DJ-Kicks CD.

Their season will also see Warm putting on some of the most unusual combinations of DJ probably yet seen in the tiny venue. These intriguing line-ups come in the shape of garage-house chameleon Joy Orbison’s headline set on Friday November 4 with Mark E on warm-up duties, and Hessle Audio co-owner Ben UFO playing alongside Running Back boss Gerd Janson on Friday, November 11.

The other undisputed highlight is the prospect of an all night London party with Optimo (Espacio), taking place at the now bog standard undisclosed east London location on Saturday, November 19. Anyone who was at Optimo’s last party for Warm in March and witnessed the scenes then will understand this is something to be quite excited about.

In addition to all of this, their line-ups will also feature Julio Bashmore,  extended sets from Innervisions’ Dixon and Ame, an R&S and Aus double header of Midland and Lone, and a night of garage tinged bass with Appleblim and Mosca, with the Warm residents providing warm-up duties at most of the events.
