Originally formed by Keith Morris (formerly of Black Flag and Circle Jerks) and Dimitri Coats (of Burning Brides), the band have seen a shift in their rhythm section with the addition of new bassist Autry Fulbright II of seminal art-rockers, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead, and outlier drummer Justin Brown, who's previously worked with the likes of Thundercat and Herbie Hancock. Prepare for an entirely new batch of chaotic, effortless bangers from a group who only emerge when they have something vital to accost their listeners with. Review: Legendary Southern California punk band The Offspring celebrate the 20th anniversary of their Platinum-selling sixth album Conspiracy of One by reissuing it on vinyl. Delivered on a heavyweight slab with a fancy gatefold cover, the reissued version features the bonus track 'Huck It', which was the title track of The Offspring's 2000 VHS/DVD Huck It, and anthemic song that has often been heard behind various skateboard stunts. Produced by Brendan O'Brien who also work with greats like Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen, the record packed din plenty of singles such as 'Want You Bad,' 'Million Miles Away,' and the biggest of them all, 'Original Prankster.'

Review: The fifteenth anniversary edition of Rise & Fall Rage & Grace, the eighth studio album by the American punk rock band The Offspring, first released in 2008. Emblematic of contemporary pop punk for anyone willing to delve a little deeper than surface-level hauls, the album is noted for being a true touchstone of the early Amazon era; the story goes that 30-second clips of each song were accidentally released by Amazon.com before its proper release, leading to fans rabidly ripping the clips and uploading them to myriad p2p file-sharing networks. Review: We're always hyped to see another transmission blast out from the furnace of John Dwyer's Osees. You never quite know what it might be forged into the grooves, but on this occasion Dwyer's here to outline the ingredients of Intercepted Message as 'a pop record for tired times'. Given the band's embrace of wildly meandering, psychedelic rock abandon, this is a strikingly focused record steeped in verse-chorus structure and laden with bright daubs of synths. The title track is also the lead single - a buoyant synth-pop dance monster with the attack you'd expect from Dwyer's project, and it tells you this is the Osees at their most direct.

Review: San-Fran experimental rockers Oxbow dedicated their eighth album Love's Holiday to familial renewals, marking the point at which guitarist Niko Wenner's two children were born shortly after his father's death. Despite the immediate inspirations, the album also cycles through many of the more all-encompassing kinds of live humans may encounter, from romantic to tragic. We hear the band segue through gargantuan plains of looping guitar and reverb-drenched vocals from lead vocalist Dan Adams; ostensibly, it sounds closer to an exploration of grief than commonly received ideas of "love", although relatively few pop-cultural ideas of love keep it real enough to reflect the strife that comes with it.
