AJH Synth have had quite a few requests for a variant of MiniMod contour generator with Release added to the envelope so that it is full ADSR but still with the characteristics of the Model D - so this is what they have done!

The DH-ADSR is exactly the same circuit as the original Model D envelope and therefore features the same contour shape and retrigger behaviour, but with the addition of a release control. However, they have also added a pulse delay and pulse stretch circuit, along with a re-trigger facility (both of these can be switched out of circuit so that the envelope is a simple ADSR unit).

The addition of pulse stretching and retrigger makes it into an LFO module and it can perform in a similar way to the EMS Synthi A and VCS3 Trapezoid generator, with a variable delay between each trigger and a variable "on" time - however it can also have full ADSR envelope on each retrigger too!

Notable Features:

- PREDELAY - This control determines how long (up to 10 seconds) the start of the envelope is held off, after a gate is received. This ability to delay the onset of the envelope is especially useful when used in conjunction with a standard ADSR: With both envelopes receiving the gate simultaneously complex envelopes can be produced as the DH-ADSR only starts running through its stages after the standard ADSR has completed. Once their outputs are mixed together in a mixer a single evolving envelope with multiple stages is produced!

- Use of the bipolar mixer found in the MINIMOD CV MIX-OFFSET-VCA module can enhance this technique even further, with more precise control over the polarity/offset of the envelope mix possible. Using the VCA of this module could allow for external modulation over either/both of the signals. It goes on...

- HOLD - When in Del-Hold mode (switch down) the HOLD control determines the gate length applied to the envelope, and thus controlling its length/overall shape. When the switch is up, normal ADSR action is produced.

- RETRIG - In this mode the DH-ADSR becomes an LFO, which can mimic the "Trapezoid" function of the vintage EMS designs. HOLD controls the length of the trapezoid shape, and PREDELAY allows for adjustable gaps between each repeat of the shape produced.

These newly designed inputs have been crafted with the aim of replicating the sound of a classic guitar or instrument tube pre-amp in a combo or head amp. An extremely high input impedance ensures loading on pick-ups is minimal and a Class A FET (field effect transistor) circuit powered from 48V is employed to give the valve-like gain stage. There is a gain "Boost" switch associated with the guitar inputs which boosts gain by 26dB to cater for instruments with very low level outputs and the overdrive characteristics of the guitar inputs are very similar to a valve (tube) circuit, being asymmetric and soft. All this makes for a wonderfully natural sound to be reproduced from the instrument, full of warmth and character.

The ZED-10FX is bundled with IK Multimedia's AmpliTube X-GEAR software, giving access to superbly modelled amps and effects.

The bottom line is that the Graphic VCO is a joy to use. It's a module that's unashamedly digital, yet unmistakably eurorack. I think Erica showed a great deal of careful judgement and restraint in the design of this module. It would have been easy to have made it bloated and cumbersome trying to cram as many features as possible into it, but they kept it fairly simple which keeps the module fun and immediate in use. Flame Curves is an analogue moving resonance filter bank. It includes a twelve-channel analogue filterbank and a pattern player which can be programmed with a software editor. You can use a freeware "Curves editor software" (Win/Mac) for setup and user pattern editing. The module needs a clock to run in pattern-mode. It also features a reset input to set the sequence back to the first step. The memory in the module can save up to 99 patterns. The active pattern can be seen on the display and selected thanks to two buttons.

If Curves is in sequencer mode, the Envelope potentiometer controls the AR envelope, the Variation knob adds random velocity and release, and the Fill potentiometer controls the level of all the channels.

In manual mode, when the sequencer is off, you can select different filter-types with the Variation potentiometer: allpass, lowpass, bandpass 1-3 and highpass. Thanks to the Fill knob it is possible to sweep through the twelve filter bands. The Envelope knob smooths the sweep by activating a second band next to the selected filter band. Thus, the change from one band to another is not so abrupt.

It is also possible to play the twelve filters via MIDI like a drum module, thanks to the supplied MIDI to minijack cable. It even reacts to velocity.

The twelve bands are subdivided in odd and even bands, which you can feed or tap out separately thanks to the various inputs and outputs. Try patching the odd outputs on one side and even outputs on the other side and you will get an amazing stereo effect! ALL output features a Dry/Wet and a Level potentiometer.

Additionally, the module features also a direct audio output and direct VCA input of each filter channel. Thus, it is possible to feed gate, triggers or envelopes to the VCA of various filterbands and play them independently.

Furthermore, there are several CV inputs for controlling Envelope, Variation and Fill parameters as well as the pattern number.

The Atlantis is heavily inspired by the architecture and sound of the classic Roland SH-101. It has always been one of our favorite synths and we really liked how the seemingly limited architecture allowed for all sorts of creative and musically useful sounds to be easily generated.

Just like the 101 it is quick to dial in beautifully rich bass and lead sounds. However this module uses triangle core VCOs (based on the Dixie core) instead of Saw core which respond much more musically to FM. The modulation oscillator can be used as an LFO or VCO (audio rate) and both track very precisely over 8 or more octaves.

In the mixer section you can adjust the balance of the primary oscillators waveforms including a sinewave which is normalled to the EXT IN jack. You could also patch in one of the modulation oscillators waveforms into this channel and be able to operate the Atlantis as a proper two oscillator synth. There is a switch labelled "LINK" which enables the modulation vco pitch to be based as an offset of the primary VCO. This is useful when using it as a stacked dual vco or when you have the mod VCO acting as the linear FM source for the primary vco and wish to maintain the ratio.

The filter section is a Roland style cascaded 4 pole multimode filter with LP, BP and HP modes. The LP Boost switch engages a special mode useful for the LP that produces a much fatter and prominent sound that is not drowned out by resonance (unlike the original SH-101). The filter self-oscillates to produce a very clean sine wave which also tracks 1V/Oct. Between the Mod VCO, Primary VCO, Sub Oscillator and resonating filter it is possible to layer up to four different pitches at one time.

The envelope section is an ADSR with a dual range switch. It also can be set to a looping mode which can be gated on/off externally.

The output VCA feeds into a two level output clipping circuit that you can use to get a much ballsier/dirtier sound.

The GE300 contains dual-DSP processors delivering the fastidious detailed characterizes of every delay, reverb, modulation or amp model inside. The SYNTH ENGINE has 3 independent voices with their own parameters for waveform, pitch, attack, level, filter and arpeggiator. The signal path from the instrument input is split and routed directly to the front of each synth voice so they remain completely parallel and independent from one another. The thru dry signal can also be mixed parallel to the entire synth effect block, so you can opt for synth only or mix it with your guitar signal.

TONE CAPTURE is an intelligent learning and comparison engine that can be used to create your very own digital models by sampling real-life equipment. The GE300 is the only MOOER product that features three different TONE CAPTURE modes.

AMP & STOMP MODE can be used to sample your favourite stomp box or amplifier. This can then be applied to an existing amp or drive pedal model within a preset to transform it into your sample.

GUITAR MODE allows you to capture the EQ characteristics of your instrument. Have you ever found yourself searching for a single instrument that has all the different guitar sounds you need? Be it classic country twang, warm ballsy blue tones, the funkadelic "4-position", tight thrashing djent, Piezo acoustic-electric - GUITAR MODE can sample any guitar, provided it has some form of pickup, and create a detailed digital guitar model using MOOER's proprietary non-linear IR technology.

Pigtronix Infinity 2 is a stereo looping pedal with two independent loops and a streamlined user interface that has been designed to provide an intuitive musical workflow, right out of the box.

The Infinity 2 enables musicians to seamlessly switch between parts, even during initial recording or while overdubbing. This Verse / Chorus type of workflow is further expanded by the ability to delete the loop that is not currently playing - freeing up an open slot for a new loop to be created, without interrupting playback.

Nearly all actions taken by the Infinity 2 occur at the loop boundary. This allows the musician to cue an overdub, switch between loops or stop precisely at the end of a loop, without having to worry about hitting the footswitch at precisely the correct time. Simply tell the machine what to do and it will occur at the end of the current loop. This is the general rule of thumb for all commands, with a few exceptions such as instant stop and fade out, which take place immediately when activated.

A small push-button switch, located above the left footswitch, allows the user to change the functionality of this footswitch to perform various Stop, Stutter and Octave Shift effects. A TRS remote jack allows these special features to be triggered by an external switch. Undo / Redo functionality can also be assigned to the left footswitch, allowing the musician to remove previous overdubs and add them back as desired.

In addition to a dedicated knob for loop Volume, the Infinity 2 also features a Decay knob that causes loop audio to fade out progressively during overdub. With the Decay knob set fully clockwise, the layers pile up at full volume. With the Decay knob set fully counter-clockwise, each overdub lasts for only one loop cycle. With the Decay knob set anywhere in-between those extremes, overdubbing on the Infinity 2 creates constantly evolving loop textures that can be instantly snapped back to a previous state using the Undo function.

The Infinity 2's full-range, high-headroom audio inputs will accept mono or stereo instruments as well as line-level signals. The dual outputs of the Infinity 2 can be routed for stereo output with pass-through and loop audio mixed together, or they can be configured for discrete Wet / Dry operationiwhere the loop audio is summed to one output, and pass-through audio is sent to the other.

Infinity 2 combines the high-fidelity audio and ultra-low-latency looping engine of the original award-winning Pigtronix Infinity Looper, with a much smaller form factor and a user interface specifically designed to make looping fun and musical for everyone.

The RK-006 is about 7x5x1cm in size (3x2x0.4?) and packs 10 MIDI outputs plus 2 MIDI Inputs.

Every output port on the RK-006 can be individually set to send out full MIDI or Gate pulses, making a lovely hybrid use of it's 3.5mm TRS connectors: You can connect DIN5 MIDI Gear via the included TRS-A to DIN5 cables or just plug in a plain 'stereo minijack audio cable' (preferably shielded) to sync up modular gear or even 'minijack-MIDI' devices like the Korg Electribe or NTS-1 and such.

The one-button on the RK-006 can be used to tap in a master clock or change presets on the RK-006 routing. You can also use it to switch from seemingly a MIDI merger/thru box to e.g. an independent dual-brain setup or one-big-master-gate-clocks-generator.

By using a simple (and included) OTG Adapter cable you can even connect plain 5V power and a USB hub to the RK-006 and host multiple USB-MIDI devices. The RK-006 will interconnect them and merge them together with the existing hardware ports. And because one USB-cable can route a whole lot more than just a MIDI-In or MIDI-Out we added extra filtering to specifically target these USB devices as well.

And while in the USB area: You can even plug in a USB Memory Stick with prepared MIDI files (also called 'SMF'). The SP-404A can be triggered from the TR-8 Rhythm Performer for powerful, integrated beat and sample production. Simply connecting a MIDI cable between the two gives you the ability to incorporate samples from the SP-404A and use them in conjunction with your drum patterns. Each of the TR-8's 11 tracks can trigger a sample on the SP-404A, play a TR-8 sound, or both, enabling you to create interesting layers and accents. The TR-8 can trigger any sample from any of the multiple banks in the SP-404A, making it easy to access new sounds with a turn of the dial.

Sample Scatter and Side Chain:
By connecting the stereo output of the SP-404A to the TR-8's external audio input, you can use the TR-8 as a sub-mixer and processor for the sampler. In this configuration, all samples played on the SP-404A can be effected using the powerful TR-8 Scatter feature to reverse, glitch, gate, truncate, stutter, and perform all manner of rhythmic variations from subtle to extreme, and all in perfect sync. The use of the external input also allows samples to be effected by the TR-8's per-step Side Chain function-simply program a pattern with Side Chain in TR-REC Mode and access eight rhythmic ducking and gating effects.

Sounds by Loopmasters:
The SP-404A comes with nine banks of premium samples to get you started with sample looping. The sound library on the included SD card was created by Loopmasters, one of the world's leading sample developers. The samples in the library have been designed specifically to complement the TR-8, but will work great in standalone applications.

Instant Sampling:
Sampling is not limited to the studio with the SP-404A. The built-in microphone allows for simple recording anytime and anywhere inspiration may strike, powered by AC or six AA batteries. Line inputs enable direct sampling from a mixer or external device, and a mic input is also available for sampling with an external microphone. And your sampled material always sounds great, thanks to the SP-404A's high-quality, uncompressed WAV audio-capture format.

Hands-On Performance:
With its interactive loop and pattern sequencer controls, the SP-404A is made to be played. Take command with three non-slip control knobs and 12 rubber trigger pads, plus a Sub Pad for rapid-repeat triggering in real time. On dark stages or DJ booths, the SP-404A is an ideal live machine, as the clearly illuminated pads and bright LED screen ensure clear visibility as soon as you power on.

Extreme Effects:
Your signature sounds can be sculpted at any time via the SP-404A's 29 onboard DSP effects. Essentials include spacious reverbs and choruses plus lush filters and delays, and all provide seamless switching for smooth transitions while performing. There are also striking, performance-based effects on hand, including a voice transformer and a looper. The filter and isolator provide the ability to radically alter your sounds and transform them into all-new elements for reuse. Combined with a DJ mixer, the SP-404A can be used as a standalone effects processor. A unique "limiter" mode is used in 17 effects types to prevent overloading, ensuring stable sound with no unwanted sonic artefacts. This mode is especially effective for live DJ performances, safeguarding your sounds at critical moments.

Track Builder:
The number of loops that the SP-404A can handle is practically endless, but this feature is only part of its immense power. Songs, jams, and tracks can be built in seconds thanks to the onboard Pattern Sequencer, which is specifically designed for real-time track creation. Optimized for live engagement, it features a powerful Quantize mode which includes shuffle feels for groove, swing, and movement. You can create patterns on the fly via the 99 available measures, and with continuous looping, the ability to layer, structure, and shape a track is available at your fingertips.

The Synthesis Technology E300 Ultra VCO is an analog oscillator based on the MOTM-300 5U module, with an updated design engineered in collaboration with Dave Rossum of Rossum Electro-Music.

The E300 uses modern temperature-controlled exponential converters without the expensive MAT-02EH + Tempco found in the MOTM-300. It also incorporates variable HFT (High Frequency Tracking) for a wider, more accurate 1V/Oct input. The SYNC circuit is a simpler hard sync type, with accurate detection of any waveshape/frequency used. There is an added -1OCT/-2OCT sub-octave squarewave output, which is phase-aligned with the sawtooth.

The VCO core is a new sawtooth-based circuit with improved linearity and a unique saw-to-triangle converter with no glitch in the transition peaks.

Just like the MOTM-300, the E300 is designed to be the best tracking analog VCO available (over 10 octaves) with the lowest temperature drift (typically less than 0.1Hz over a 24hr period).
