45 years deep and still wholly resonant and vital; William DeVaughn's 1973 "Be Thankful For What You Got" still hits the soul as much as it's always done. Almost cosmic with its smoothness, and forever immortalised by Massive Attack 20 years later, this is over seven minutes of instant feels. The same can be said for the equally heartfelt message of "Blood Is Thicker Than Water" on the B. Soft, tender but so much weight. Class like this never ages.
