Hostman and Thornley's Weird Weather project showers down on Brian Not Brian & Salik's Going Good imprint with a follow up to their debut release "Bamboo Room". Four tracks deep, each named with consistently profound or wry titles, across the EP we're given a full schematic of their technoid psyche; the slinky Silver City-style cosmic bubbles of "Leather Chair" ignite proceedings before "Private Investigator" takes us out for a deep dubby sojourn in the twilight. Elsewhere the slow-n-low cyclical ominousness of "Water Loop" causes paranoid twitches before we finally drift off towards the sunshine on glistening wave machine that is "Salem's Yacht". The forecast's looking good for these guys.
