The return of Mikrodisko! We've become accustomed to infrequent transmissions from the Leipzig collective so the sight of a new 12" is most welcome indeed. What will draw most to Lifetime Subscription is the MM/KM track on the flip, which sees Mix Mup and Kassem Mosse re-establish their occasional studio partnership. The hard-to-pronounce "Viertausendsechshundert" is a sparse, analogue delight, with the German duo layering fuzzy electronic melodies atop a pitched-down drum machine groove. Volt CTRL follows a similar approach on the analogue deep house jam "Disconnected" - think bubbling electronics, Detroit-influenced drums and sweeping pads - while NTS host and rising producer Throwing Shade goes all ambient on the rather beautiful "A High Place Of Darkness & Light".
