Phrase EP vinyl

If Bucharest-based Vinyl Speed Adjust's Soundcloud page is to believed then the producer is seeking to break from Romania's increasingly minimal underground scene with their productions. Indeed, the title track of the Phrase EP on Crystal Structures shows him to have a particularly tough outlook, with a stripped back set of drums that keep their energy firmly focused, while "Lost Signal" combines a rolling groove with a trundling bassline with lots of forward momentum. Aubrey's remix of "Phrase" elects to add some elastic dub chords with staccato delay, while Mark Ambrose's take on the track takes a more moody approach with its watery atmospherics; both are equally as impressive.
