Since they first aligned under the collective label banner Giallo Disco in 2012, Antoni Maiovvi and Vercetti Technicolour have championed their own distinct brand of Horror Disco, craftily updating the template set by Giallo forebearers for the contemporary ear. The stars have aligned this week so that the arrival of Maiovvi's LP for Not Not Fun is complemented by this sublime Black September album from Vercetti Technicolour. The very first album issued by Giallo Disco, it makes perfect sense for Vercetti to be at the controls for a fictitious soundtrack to the 1972 Munich Massacre with the resultant nine tracks a understandably bleak affair.
