Strength II: Deep Cuts

Portland, Oregon based goth-metal revivalists Unto Others (formerly known as Idle Hands) follow in similar footsteps to the likes of The Sisters Of Mercy and Type O Negative, but with a more modern metallic edge. 2021's debut full-length under this moniker Strength proved a macabre, sultry and hefty introduction to coincide with their signing to seminal record label Roadrunner. It was their newfound label home which deterred the group from their original intention to craft a double album, instead instructing them to whittle down a number of cuts to form a more standardised LP. Not wanting the edited tracks to be lost to time, the band have now unveiled an expansion pack of sorts in the form of new EP Strength II …Deep Cuts, allowing fans the chance to hear the extensive and prolific process that went into crafting their acclaimed debut.
