Troy De Lugt is Klockworks material, through and through, so it's no wonder that Berlin's Ben Klock has snapped him up after only a handful of releases for the likes of Digital Reflection and Dynamic Reflection. "Algol", the title track, is a stone-cold Berghain killer, shooting out bleak twists of hypnotics, while "Ariamis" heads further into the acid wormhole with its skeletal arrangement. "Redshift" offers some dub techno to satisfy the Berliner massive, with a little Axis-inspired mood, and "Ceres" falls into a deep, cavernous pit of grey-scaled sonics.
