Machine-like junglist Tim Reaper has enjoyed a highly successful year to date, heading up all manner of 12" singles for the likes of Foxy, 7th Storey Projects and Transmute. Here he goes again on freshly minted imprint Mayor Massiv, this time in collaboration with similarly prolific producer Coco Bryce. The A-side boasts two takes on "Dreamscape": the "Pleasuredome" version, where dystopian ice cream van melodies rise and fall over a skittish, rumbling D&B rhythm, and the thrillingly sub-heavy, retro-futurist "Thunderdome" version, which is underpinned by cracking, mid-'90s style jungle breaks. Over on side B, "E is For" sees the duo pepper another bustling junglist drum track with pitched-up vocals and saucer-eyed chords. Sonar Ghost remixes, doing his best impression of Luke Vibert's Amen Andrews project in the process.
