Tha Dogg Pound's debut album Dogg Food made a real ruckus when released. Its controversial lyrics were the subject of shareholder protest that delayed initial release in 1995. It went on to be one of the highest selling albums for the label and was the last to officially made in the so called g-funk era. It spawned two singles 'Let's Play House' and 'New York, New York', featuring Michelle and Snoop Doggy Dogg respectively, was mixed by Dr Dre and mostly produced by Daz Dillinger. This special Record Store Day reissue comes on blue vinyl so is a fine addition to any real hip hop lover's shelves.
