Over the last couple of years, there's been plenty of obsessive online debate about the potential identity of the mysterious "90s Chicago producer" behind the T.B Arthur alias. While we may be no nearer finding out his (or her) identity, the previously unheard archive material continues to slip out. Psychedelic Relics inaugurates new T.B. Arthur label (312) and contains four more chunks of wild machine music, beginning with the trippy electronics, mind-bending riffs and intricate percussion of "Track 1". "Track 2" is a similarly out-there trip into intoxicated acid-meets-dark techno territory, while acid jam "Track 3" kicks like the proverbial mule. "Track 4" seems deep and woozy in comparison, but still hits like a weighty kick in the guts. Not for the faint hearted.
