Freerotation founder and all-round ambassador for modular synthesisers, Steevio has been on productive form of late with the recent Modular Techno series and a busier gig schedule. This latest transmission on his Mindtours imprint sees the Wales-based producer turn to the album format for the first time since the Rogue Patterns release back in 2004, and it's a perfect snapshot of where his sound has evolved to. Riding on skipping, shuffling rhythms, the live jam nature of these tracks ensures they unfold with a wild unpredictability, sending the warm, playful synth tones bouncing around your cerebellum with ease.
