First alluded to many moons ago, Thomas Bullock's STD label has finally surfaced in rather dashing fashion brandishing some edited material that's every bit as cheeky as the double entendre that is the name - which is named after the Rub N Tugger's Sunday T Dance by the way. Working under the Tom Of England name that will be familiar to fans of The Trilogy Tapes cassette mix series, this STD Edits Volume 1 is focused squarely on the spotters badge end of disco edits, and indeed will feel like a breath of fresh air to anyone that's felt a bit let down by the edit brigade in the past few years. Lead cut "Cambridge Man" is a excellent rework of a mid 80s curio from The Woodentops whilst Kissing The Pink are given the STD treatment on the flip. If you liked the weirder editions of the RVNG of the NRDS series this is for you!
