Review

It's refreshing to hear a contemporary take on ska, punk and British music that still remains vibrant and relevant, giving hope to the jaded, wasted and unsettled youth out there. Highlights be the title track "Television" with a grungy vibe similarly to the zombie candescence of King Krule classic "Dum Surfer". With a blurry cover of the New York Dolls in "Pretty Vacant" thrown in alongside dub and reggae sentimentalities in "850 Bryant" and the aching vocals of "All My Friends Are Out Tonight (Alright)", there's also a refreshingly un-dystopian closer to boot: "The Ice Age Isn't Fucking Coming".
