Spotted changing hands for upwards of 800 quid, demand for this rare one-off from the mysterious Sparkels has been intense since it became a strong staple in both the popcorn and northern soul scene. Apparently first demoed by Norma Jenkins to Motown, who declined it, Herb Bernstein took this on but dropped it when it failed to gain attention. Both sides sprightly girl group soul with subtle touch of blues and a beautiful piano fill on "Try Love" and a bubble gum sing-along twist on "That Boy Of Mine", your floor won't stop moving when either side is dropped.
