Here, the track gets handed over to veteran producer Andrew Weatherall, who delivers two distinctive touch-ups. His first version drowsily joins the dots between skittering dancefloor jazz, string-drenched movie soundtracks, and the duo's twinkling original. Arguably even more impressive is "Mix 2", where Lord Sabre indulges his long-held love of beatbox electro, fusing those swirling strings and grandiose atmospherics with the kind of body-snapping beats that were once a feature of his early Two Lone Swordsmen work with Keith Tenniswood.
