Philipp Strobel and Gabriel Brero's Aufnahme + Wiedergabe continues its fine run of form with a sublime collaboration from some of techno's most interesting minds. Seen Links Schlosser Rechts kicks off the A-side with two nasty slabs of warehouse euphoria, both of them versions of "Die Nacht", first with a banging, kick-led edit, and then onto a much more freeform, noise-centric industrial joint. On the flip, there's another Room 506 edit, this time of Deutsch Nepal's "Ich Steh Im Regen", rolling out a heavy EBM groove, while Ancient Method's "Der Schmied" revels in total hysteria thanks to cutting beats, sharp snares, and some heavy bass work. Wicked.
