Detroit's Scott Grooves is one of the most under rated, under appreciated but hugely talented producers to currently be operating out of the Mid West. He goes about his business quietly, slipping out a steady stream of vital music that is all made with real love and passion for the craft. The skilled producer and instrumentalist always brings a wide sphere fo reference to his music and here he opens with a deep house groove embellished with subtle new age chords, a funky guitar riff and lush synth work. The aching vocal finishes it in style. 'La Riddum' is a more shuffling and muddied drum track that is perfect for cosy back rooms, and 'Sundays Best' brings sun worshiping synths to those loose beats. Perfect work once more.
