Born Free boss Samo DJ is next up on the label's 31st release, following up great ones by Pedrodollar, Louis Guilliaume and label co-head DJ Sling. "Zsou" channels the same type of deep and dusty downbeat techno that Berlin's SUED crew have a knack for, while "Janet" similarly explores the same deep trance induction exercises that SVN and Porn Sword Tobacco are known for. Finally they save the best for last on the B side with "Mannen Fran Mallorca" on this slowed-down bleep techno exercise. He appeared for the label earlier this year in collaboration with local lad Baba Stiltz on the Kling Party EP, in addition to recent releases on L.I.E.S., The Trilogy Tapes and Public Possession where he has displayed a penchant for lo-fi/all analogue house with balearic tendencies. The 2016 full length on Japanese label Snaker in collaboration with Maxxbass received glowing praise also.
