If anyone is qualified to serve you some deep house dishes, it's Rick Wade. From the dulcet tones of "Night Addiction" onwards, it's clear that he means business on this EP for Hold Youth. There's a slight nastiness at work in the low end rumblings of these cuts that make them a little more addictive than some of Wade's smoother output. Just check the thick square wave tones of "Enter Dawn" for further proof. On the flip Hold Youth get busy with a drunken remix of "Night Addiction" that plies scattered drums and dissonant vocals into a heady brew, while S3A gets caught in a disco-fuelled loop frenzy for his own take on the track.
