Some six years on from the release of sophomore set "Square", Sebastian Kramer once again dons the Redshape mask to deliver album number three. It's a good 'un - with Kramer serving up a superb selection of atmospheric and occasionally surprisingly cinematic instrumentals wholly in keeping with the sci-fi ethos of his beloved Detroit techno. That's not to say that it sounds like a Motor City techno set - it's far more eclectic than that, mixing and mangling John Carpenter style horror movie motifs, early '90s British breakbeat-techno, rolling tech-jazz, gently unfurling ambient techno and faintly foreboding main room fare - just that its ethos mirror those laid down by Michigan's original far-sighted electronic futurists.
