Sonic classicist Recut drops 'Love Da House', a collection snappy analog (sounding) jams channelling the energy of classic house music with a modern twist. Conjuring up connotations with the likes of Frankie Bones, Frankie Knuckles, and/or just about any other house artist named Frankie from the late 80's to early 90's, these breaksy bangers all share similar acid melodies and crude clave samples. "I wanna tell you about house", chirps one vocal sample, further hammering home this nostalgic, narrative, almost fairytale vision of house.
