Yes! Type completes the Black Mill Tapes series from Pye Corner Audio with the release of volumes three and four in the form of second 2LP package, pairing the already digitally released third volume with the previously unheard fourth. Supposedly marking what Type describe as "a transitional period in The Head Technician's production history", the two volumes mark "a notable shift into beat-laced darkness," with classic house music, darkwave and John Carpenter all cited as sonic reference points. For anyone that checked volume 3 it's great to finally hear it on the vinyl format - "Transmission Seven: Pathways Open" sounds even more immense - whilst "Electronic Rhythm Number Twelve" stands out amongst the new material on volume 4.
