Richie Hawtin fans will no doubt remember 2010 as the year Plastikman returned with a vengeance. A series of live shows during the past 12 months have given older heads an opportunity to reminisce and a new generation the chance to see where it all began. And ahead of a bulging, 16 disc boxset celebrating the 1993-2003 incarnation of Plastikman, we see two brand spanking new cuts pressed up on vinyl. The late night acid flex of "Slinky" hogs the A Side - those who witnessed the aforementioned live shows this year will no doubt remember this beast - whilst the understated drum roll, jungle screeching and pleasing 808 thud of "Monkee" proves to be the perfect B Side accompaniment.
